Sal's was great for lunch. I went with the cheese steak - loaded. It was fresh and hot! It was $15 after tax which is a little steep. The service was good for takeout as well!

I often overlooked Sal's as it's nested within a few restaurants in a row, but I will not be overlooking them again! Holy mackerel! What a great place! The food is absolutely wonderful! The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the portions are ridiculously huge! The prices are wonderful, and the menu is pretty diverse given that their main product is pizza. I will be eating here a lot more!

The restaurant had a homey small town vibe. Nothing too updated, you could tell the plates have had some wear over the years. The customer service was amazing though. We couldn't have asked for a better waitress. She genuinely made us feel welcomed. We kept it simple by ordering garlic knots and two pizzas, one pepperoni and one white pizza. Our food came out surprisingly very quickly. The garlic knots looked amazing, but I was disappointed that they tasted a bit dry and over cooked. The pizzas were pretty good though and larger than what I thought they would be. The only thing I could nitpick was that a couple of slices hadn't been covered completely with any topping, so it kind of tasted like we were just eating flatbread. Overall, we had a pleasant experience and are looking forward to returning one day.

    Soupy pizza

Pizza used to be good. New cook i guess. Asked for well done. Cheese was soupy. Taste was awful. My son loves pizza. He didn't even want it.

Sal's pizza doesn't disappoint. Pizza was great. I did have their Philly sub but I wasn't too fond of it. Bread was hard.

First the location: it's in a strip mall, which it shares with Kroger, a thrift store, and one of the last Roses stores around. The inside was very nice and had a real country atmosphere. Everything appeared well-kept and clean. As we entered we were quickly greeted and taken to our table. Within a few moments, we had our two sweet teas, and our order was taken. Let's say wow - our order was delivered to our table in maybe 7-8 minutes. I was in total shock. The meals. The wifey has the Monte Cristo French Toast meal. I could tell she liked it a lot. As I look at her taking her first full bite and her eyes are blasting open. She said it was absolutely outstanding. As for me, I had Biscuits & Gravy with potatoes and bacon. I will also tell you I was very happy with the taste and the portion. As for service: We had a young lady named Stephanie. I bet she checked on us 6-7 times during our stay and we were not her only table. She was just that attentive. Total for two of us - $33 which include includes a hefty state and local tax. 12.25% - Virginia and localities have gotten out of control. So I will give this place a solid 5-star review and hope that if you're passing through - and need a nice breakfast or lunch, go on in.

My husband had the gluten-free pancakes and he really enjoyed them. He also got their grilled pork chops which he liked. Their coffee is amazing, strong and hot! We shared the pecan Dijon salad. It was okay. We got a side of fries...hot and just the right amount fit salt. It's a very popular spot as we had to wait a little to be seated. But it is truly worth the wait! We will definitely be back!!

I especially appreciate that they accommodate my special request for their mouthwatering pulled pork without sauce whenever possible. The seasoning and flavors are always spot on. The chicken tenders are unlike any I've ever had--perfectly breaded with a texture and taste that really stand out. Pair them with the awesome sauce, and it's perfection. Every side dish is a hit, but the broccoli salad is my personal favorite. My kids can't get enough of the fries and mac and cheese! To top it all off, the ice cream and milkshakes are extra creamy--you can definitely tell they use high-quality ingredients. We've sampled just about everything on the menu, and every single dish has been outstanding. QDaddy's is a must-visit!

The wait staff were super nice and accommodating so that was nice. Ordered a 10pc chicken tenders with macaroni and cheese, a brisket sando with a side of baked beans and broccoli bacon salad. The tenders was ordered as a meal, but for some reason a drink is not included in the meal. The brisket sando was okay, a little dry so I had to hit it with the spicy sweet bbq sauce (which was just sweet, no spice at all). I ordered the brisket sando based on the dude in front of me who got the pulled pork sando, and when I watched the server put a huge scoop of pulled pork on the bread I just knew it was going to be the same for me...but it wasnt. I got 3 strips of brisket. The baked beans were good, almost a little too sweet. The broccoli bacon salad was a cold dish, and was tossed in a overly sweet white sauce. Think coleslaw but instead of shredded lettuce, broccoli. I wasn't a fan. The macaroni and cheese was more like a boxed product. However the chicken tenders were super good and I highly recommend those. All that for 48 bucks. I was pleasantly surprised the machine didn't ask for a tip, that was nice.
