Ordered to go from Mod Pizza tonight (Friday) May 5th. Everything was excellent. The Lucie Sunshine pizza was outstanding. A garlic base, with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese, artichokes and red sauce spots. Yum!! Mod Pizza is like a Subway Pizza restaurant but with high quality ingredients. The mozzarella cheese is buttery and delicious. The red sauce has real tomatoes. You can get different bases, cheeses, finishes and any one of around 25 different toppings on your pizza, all for the same price. Cheeses include feta and Gorgonzola. Toppings include fresh rosemary and fresh basil. Finishes include spicy buffalo sauce and fig balsalmic. The garlic bread appetizers and cinnamon bread dessert were super tasty. The strawberry dip was real strawberries. Excellent value for the money. If the quality holds up, we will definitely be returning for years to come. read more

This place is a joke. The parking lot is embarrassingly inept. The restaurant is tiny and cannot accommodate seating most nights. The weekends are absolutely jammed packed and simply NOT worth the hassle of fighting the crowds of kids. Avoid. I really like this place. It just opened in Wake Forest. There is a Chipotle style ordering system. Just select the pizza size and then you can customize the toppings including the sauce type. There are some named pizzas that have set ingredients but you can have your pizza anyway you desire without paying more money. They even have a selection of dried herbs and drizzles to add at the end. Each crust is raw so each pizza is baked in the oven. The line moved pretty fast but there will be a small wait. Weekday dinner rush was very busy. It's interesting to watch their process of taking the orders and executing the baking. I think the magic is in the thin crust. The pizza cooks very fast because of it. This is a great concept for picky eaters. They can even have their own mini pizza. Was a good? Yes, I enjoyed the pizza. Was it great? I wouldn't say that. But, I would be back. If you're a deep dish or thick crust pizza lover, then this style of pizza will not be satisfying. I love thin crust pizza. Keep it coming. Given the price and speed, I'd rate MOD Pizza highly. We had the Mod (medium size) pizza with a handful of toppings. It took perhaps 4-5 minutes and was very good. No, you're not going to mistake MOD for Naples, Rome or NYC, but by Wake Forest pizza standards, it's quite good. A Mod (11" diameter, 4 slices) pizza, one soda and one Fat Tire was ~$16. Pretty good but I prefer Pieology. We were greeted by a loud "hello" from the staff when we walked in. The decor is modern and clean. I liked that they had 3 different pizza sizes to choose from. The gluten free crust tasted fine, not the best I've ever had. For those with celiac, you may want to be wary because they warn about cross-contamination here. They had a wide variety of fresh toppings too, and didn't skimp on the amount. Overall I was pleased with my pizza and I'll come back until Pieology opens in Wake Forest. This place is awesome! My husband and I had eaten at one of these on a vacation in Washington state before heading into the mountains for a hike. It's still just as good down here in N.C. The gentleman who was working here (Chris) was incredibly personable and obviously takes pride in his work. My husband and I were really impressed. To be honest, pandemic has made me feel nervous about eating out at restaurants. This was our first dining-out experience since all of this started, and the service we received, along with the cleanliness of the store and the masking protocol that was adhered to made this a really pleasant experience for us. read more

Great pizza and drinks! Unfortunately the 3 stars is due to the employees...young lady at the register was rude. Someone brought a dog that was left outside, which I think she was an employee coming in on her day off got meat to give to the dog. Then they took a bowl from the back filled it with water took outside on the patio and let the dog drink out of the bowl. This place brought back a lot of great memories for me. It reminded me of when I was a broke student living in the dorms and we would have "pizza" parties. I went in on a Saturday night, it was pretty busy but the line moved quickly, The service was outstanding and the food was delicious! If your a pizza lover like i am this will be your new favorite spot for sure! I have to call out the guy who's review is prior to mine saying "There is no value in an $8 thin crust pizza with no flavor and scant toppings"- They don't charge for toppings so they expect people to get a lot, they start with smaller portions of each topping because of this but if you want more of anything you can simply ask for more.. I'd also like to point out to the reviewers before that, that its not fair to be negative and give a lower rating based on the parking lot.. do you really think they have any control over that? The landlord of the property would be the one to blame for that- they (landlord) probably had no idea that the businesses moving in would be so busy! and "literally 10 spots" is a huge exaggeration- theres about 60 spaces total surrounding the building and the manager even informed me that the employees park in the rite-aid parking lot to leave those closer spaces for customers, so if anything you should praise them for their caring toward customer satisfaction even before you get into the store. just my .02$ Keep up the great work MOD! read more

This was our first time trying MOD Pizza and it is now our favorite. We did create your own pizza and were very happy with the diversity of choices across the board. I was also excited to try the mega dough thick crust option. The mega crust was great and I had mostly meat choices with mushrooms and it was perfect. The meats all tasted fresh and were superior to other places we have tried in the Wake Forest area. We also ordered a thin crust option with sliced tomatoes, mozzarella, Parmesan, salt and pepper and my daughters response was it reminded her of Italy. We strongly recommend this as a go to pizza place. The only thing to note is that their largest pizza is 11 inches. read more

Honestly, I worked as an assistant manager for one of the main competitors of MOD pizza and MOD is better. The atmosphere was great, music at a level where we could still talk unlike the competition who made people uncomfortable because they purposely had the music too load, multiple people helped us and they were awesome, you could tell they took pride in their jobs, staffed properly (competition always worried too much about the bottom line and not about their staff) and the toppings and food were exceptional! read more

I have been here a few times and it's been very decent. The have online ordering which is very convenient, and they have lots of options for pizzas and salads! While the pizza is very good, it's very very thin to be a little on the pricier side. However, I am going to go there for the salads alone. They are amazing! They are so fresh with so many choices, and they even toss it for you. The food quality is high, however the portion size vs. the price is the only reason for 4 stars. read more

But it seemed that no matter how many toppings I got the flavor didn't seem to get bigger. The red sauce is bland and the toppings are scarce. This place is relatively new. I am sorry to say that their pizza fell flat for us. For the money it's very small with little amounts of toppings.
