My wife and I got married a couple months ago and this review is long overdue. I wanted to wait until I had some pictures to post before I wrote this review, and it took us a little while to get our photos (good work takes time!). It's also a super long review, but for Suzanna it's worth it. My wife is actually the one who recommended me to Suzanna. I was stressing out about where to take my tuxedo. I've worked with several tailors around the area and while all of them were pretty decent, none of them wowed me. It didn't help that I had some unusual requests that I knew would get some judgment and pushback from most tailors (I wanted tux sleeves and pant hem at about 4/5 length, VERY short). That's when my wife recommended Suzanna. My wife actually brought THREE of her dresses to Suzanna. My wife also had some unusual requests and she said Suzanna was super nice and easy to work with, and was willing to do the odd requests after a small amount of explaining. Encouraged by my wife's experience, I gave Suzanna a visit. She was sooo incredibly nice and friendly. She was an absolute darling. I explained to her my untraditional requests, and she gave me an unsure (but still friendly) look. She made a joke that she's gonna have to make me sign a waiver promising that I won't write a poor review if she does what I'm asking, LOL. I promised her I knew what I was asking for, and that I would not blame her for the outcome if it looked bad. She agreed to take on the job. The whole exchange was very funny and friendly. She also has great memory, I told her my then-fiancée had come in 2-3 weeks prior to drop off her dress and she still remembered exactly who I was talking about! She made sure to give me a pickup date for my tuxedo on a different day than my fiancée's so that I don't accidentally see her dress. When she told me the price for those several major alterations on a total of 3 pieces of clothing (tux top, tux pants, tux shirt), I guffawed. Suzanna asked me if it was too much. But no, it was the exact opposite. I couldn't believe how reasonable it was. It was more than fair. My then-fiancée and I went to pick up my entire wedding outfit, just 2 weeks later. When I put on the whole tux, I couldn't believe how nice everything felt. It felt so premium and so comfortable. It was literally made for me. It fit exactly how I wanted, it was perfect in every single way. Not only did it make me LOOK good, it made me FEEL comfortable, it made me FEEL good and confident, everything a well-tailored outfit should be. It was clear she is extremely talented and has an eye for her craft. So much care and effort and precision went into each article of clothing, into each stitch. And it's not just my tuxedo either, every single one of my wife's wedding dresses came out perfectly and flawlessly. She loved how each one felt and flowed. Suzanna literally did both of our entire wedding outfits. You can tell from the pictures I've posted that Suzanna did an incredible job and the outfits not only looked good in person but also came out beautifully in photographs. We'd like to thank Suzanna sincerely from the bottom of our hearts for making us look so good and feel so good for our wedding. Thanks for all the kindness and caring. Thanks for being understanding of our weird and unorthodox requests and executing our vision. Suzanna played such a big part of our wedding and her beautiful work will forever be immortalized on the photos we hang on our walls and pass down to our children. I brought in a gorgeous vintage dress that I absolutely loved but accidentally bought without checking the measurements--it arrived and was tiny. Several other tailors told me the project was impossible, but the women here took it on with confidence and creativity. If I could give this wonderful establishment 10 stars, I would! The top to my 3-piece outfit that was supposed to be customized to my measurements was made incorrectly and was small around my armpits and shoulder. I brought it over to this tailor and although we had a language barrier (I speak English, I believe they speak Russian), Susan knew exactly what needed to be done. I brought some of my own fabric to make her job easier with the color match and stretch material. I brought it on 5/2 and she told me to come today, 5/12. I couldn't be more happier with this tailor! She did AMAZING! She didn't interfere with the designs on my fabric at all and was still able to neatly stitch more fabric to add length and more width to my top. When I tried it on, the cinching in my armpit area, was fixed and I was comfortably able to move my arms in my top. She was also very polite and had great customer service. Oh my god I am so thankful that Yelp helped me find Suzanna. I actually saved this business on my Yelp before I even found my wedding dress and planned to bring it here due to all the great reviews. When I got my wedding dress in the mail I had been extremely busy switching jobs and called her on a Monday morning about 7 weeks out from my wedding. I assumed it would be extremely difficult to find someone to alter my dress, but Suzanna told me no problem and to come in anytime that day. When I arrived I was greeted by Suzanna who was incredibly friendly and kind. Made me feel like it was absolutely no problem for her to hem the front of my dress, add a bustle, and adjust the shoulder straps to be a bit shorter. She gave me a date about a week out from my wedding to come back and pickup my dress. On that day she was again so kind and felt like family. She helped me try on the dress and taught my bridesmaids how to use the bustle. Everything was perfect. She was extremely reasonable. The in-house alterations from my dress shop would have been more, and I don't think I would've felt nearly as much love as Suzanna exudes. She cares so much. As a lost student, I am often required to wear a suit and suit separates. I really like vintage clothing and choose to purchase suits and separates from eBay, mostly vintage polo Ralph Lauren.
