This company was recommended by a friend. I was looking to replace my entire HVAC system due to advanced age. From the moment I contacted them, they were ready to earn my business. They were timely with responding to my questions and very flexible with coming out to provide and estimate and overall analysis of my heating and cooling needs. They provided a variety of options for me to choose from for heating and cooling, including a variety of options. They were never pushy and did not steer me to more expensive equipment. I had several follow up questions which were answered very quickly. In the end they custom tailored a package for me. Scheduling was flexible. The day of I received a message saying that the techs were on the way. 4 techs came in right at 8:00am, as promised. They went right to work, clarifying what was being done and what they needed from me, which wasn't much. They worked all day go remove the old equipment and install my upgraded new system. I was working with an 80% furnace and upgraded to a 95%, which required the running of additional pipes. In the end, everything looked great, very professional. The techs were all very professional and worked well together. They showed me all the new features and what I could expect from the system. They went through my new smart thermostat and helped my customize my settings. The whole experience was great. I called late at 6:33pm on MLK Jr day, 1/19/26, when I arrived home to find out my furnace wasn't working, and it was 58 degrees in my home! It was a below zero day, and the following days were below zero too. They had a technician come out that night by 7:20pm. Jesus checked my igniter showing it to me and explaining how my furnace worked. He also checked all of the components like the wheel thingy that spins around explaining everything to me. As we got to the condensation trap, it was clogged with 3 bowlfuls of water contained within it. He cleared it out and cleaned out all of the junk in it. It started draining then as it should do when working correctly. It was only $141 to take care of this issue which is a great deal. He checked to make sure my furnace would work properly by shutting it down and letting it reignite so I wouldn't be left without heat the following days. Really wonderful company that was so responsive and compassionate to work with! Jesus is my savior :) Thank you, Jesus, for taking the time to explain everything to me. He was done by 8:15pm, and he had been working since 8am. I'm very grateful to Jesus and Modern Air Solutions for taking care of my issue so quickly. My AC and furnace were in need of replacement so I started my usual round of calls and quotes. Modern Air sent a tech out the same day to evaluate my system. Years ago the house had an addition put on it but also involved removing some of the existing old farm house. A second HVAC system was added to the new section (why I have no idea, it was done long before I bought the home, but it really makes no sense how it was done) which left the current system much too large for the part of the home it serviced. It was very old and inefficient and the ductwork was just an absolute mess. I signed the contract on a Friday, and they were here on Monday. All the ductwork in the basement was redone and much neater and more efficiently set up for air flow. 90% furnace, humidifier and new 14 seer AC unit was installed in 1 1/2 days. Ian, Tom, and the Modern Air Solutions team were great to work with! We needed a whole new HVAC system, which is about as big of a purchase as you're going to make in a house. They were able to come out the same day when I called to get an estimate on a system, and scheduled the installation within a few days of my commitment. Pricing was very competitive, responsiveness to questions and changes was almost immediate. The install crew was on time as promised, courteous, and very careful in the house including masks at all times while inside. The laid down tarps to protect the floors and cleaned up after themselves. Great experience! Highly recommend this company for heating and air conditioning problems. Tom Fletcher was very pleasant to talk to and sympathetic to my situation. Temperature was dropping and snow coming and it was a Friday afternoon, so of course my furnace wasn't working properly. Tom promised to get a service tech out as soon as he could. He called me back within an hour, gave me an approximate time that Zeus, the tech, would arrive. Zeus texted me when he was 20 minutes away to give me a heads up.
