Two days later after washing my hair chunks came out and I took pictures I contacted Tina and she blamed it on the weather and my thyroid's I actually went to my doctors office a month prior and got my bloodwork done and everything is normal. The result of my haircut is both discouraging depressing and heartbreaking. I had waited until my…read morehair grew long enough to be able to do what I wanted, which was to have it come down from the neck down past the collarbone on a slant. my hair is perfectly straight. It was all one length except for new growth that was coming in on the very top and the split ends. Leanne has suggested choppy layers in the back from the neck up and I said absolutely not and how awful I feel that hairstyle is. So she guaranteed me she knew how to do what I wanted done. I was turned kind of sideways to the mirror and she also took my glasses and put them up on the shelf and started cutting. She never asked permission to put layers in my hair, which obviously had not had any layers in decades, but she chose to put them in anyway, and she took the hair that came forward to the front and made up the bulk of the hair that was long and she combed it to the back/side and proceeded trim OK just making it even just clipping off the ends but no, she took off 6 inches. She took away all my length! I told her I wanted the back to be collar length and she talked me into trying it longer and if it doesn't look right, which I didn't think it would then we could always shorten it, but we couldn't make it longer. Well she left the back about 3 inches longer than what I wanted it had chopped off the crown so that I had no length left and the layer that she put in from the crown of my head ended at ear length. All that hair is baby fine with no length and no weight to that hair so the slightest breeze sends it all over the place. It might look good in loose curls. But my hair doesn't curl. so all the ends of the hairs in that layer they just poke out and look like a fuzzy ring of split ends. the length that she left the bottom layer just sits on the shoulders and the back and it flips up. that was the other thing I was adamant about. I did not want a flip and she insisted she could cut it without doing that. At least she agreed to use my own shampoo and conditioner because I'm allergic to most everything else.and when she was done washing, she cut it, blow dried it, then I think she saw how it looked. She got that big old round brush out and was frantically spraying it and running the brush underneath it to try and get it to curl inwards and she did manage to hide what she did until I got home and washed it and that's when I realized exactly what she did the exact opposite of what I told her! she had given me all this big excuse about how I couldn't have it long in the front like I wanted because there was no hair to go down there. there had been hair before she cut it off, but she's showing me the area right at the front of my face all those hairs too short to reach there. Yeah, they've always been too short to reach down there. That's not where my hair volume came from. It came from the top of my head which for as long as I can remember grew forward. anyway I am very upset and I'm wishing I had read the review that was posted on Leanne before I allowed her to even touch my hair. Wish I knew how to attach a picture to this. I have multiple pictures of all those ends from the crown, standing fully out from my head like I stuck my finger in an electrical socketand some of them wrapping all around in my eyes in my mouth up my nose, just walking out the back door to take a look at the garden. It is ridiculous. And no a rubber band and pulling it back into a pony does not help because these ends don't reach the pony they just blow about anyway. Frankly, I don't know how I'm going to drive with any car windows ever open because the hair totally obstructs my vision.
