I have used Modern Limousine Service for a few years now and have recommended them to friends as well. The service is absolutely incredible. Easy to book, a quick confirmation email (and if anything needs changing, it's changed in minutes and a new confirmation sent to you), and a reminder the day before your pickup. We got tired of unreliable Ubers, shuttles, driving ourselves and dealing with airport parking, etc. and have not looked back. The driver always arrives a little early and sends you a text that he's arrived. Always professional, friendly and helpful, the vehicles are immaculate. My wife and daughter flew in from Seattle to see Andrea Bocelli at the Hollywood Bowl in 2021. Needed transfers to and from their hotel, plus to and from the concert and they we very happy with the service. When Bocelli came back to the Bowl in 2023, I rented a car to get to the hotel, but my wife and I used MLS to get to the venue and SO glad we did- it was great! Clean comfortable ride (Cadillac Escalade) with on time arrival and even though Bocelli did 3 encores, our driver was very kind in responding to our text messages, telling us not to worry about the time and to enjoy ourselves. Pro Tip: Have enough cash for the driver's gratuity- I felt bad that I only had enough cash on me to leave a 10% tip because the service was easily deserving of a 20-25% tip. If you have ever tried to park at the Hollywood Bowl, it is AWFUL. Save yourself time and cussing and call Sam at MLS instead. I booked a Town Car thru Modern Limousine Service yesterday and reserved it for three hours and was quoted $185.00 for the three hours. When they sent me a receipt after the service I was billed for four hours and $255.00 They said the charges was from garage to garage. This was never explained and they could have sent a car that was a long distance from my house. BEWARE OF HIDDEN FEES THAT WERE NEVER EXPLAINED!!!! Driver were very pleasant. read more

I used Modern when I had to travel around LA for some business seminars. After reading all the great reviews, I decided to book a pickup from LAX to my hotel for myself and 2 other co-workers. Sam was incredibly helpful with the booking even when there were some minor difficulties with the YELP coupon. The driver was prompt, courteous and they ended up picking us up in a larger car than we had paid for. I was so pleased that I used them again to pick up and drop off some of the higher ups at LAX. I called Modern Limousine Service once again to take me to the airport today. Very professional, safe driver. Sam was at my door sharp 7:30am as I had requested. He greeted me at my door helping me with my luggages and had stocked beverages for my husband and I. There was even Direct TV in the SUV which was cool. I am amazed with their service at Modern. Very clean Limo, punctual, courteous and responsive. A client given us a very short notice coming to LA, Modern picked her up from LAX and took her to the Hotel and was with her throughout the 2 days of her stay. She was really happy with this particular Limousine Service and the driver who was so friendly that she assumed he is our private chauffer for years. When I told her they are an outside service she said: "now my standards have been raised. They are not this courteous even in San Antonio." I will definitely give them a great rating as a Yelper. Our driver, Sergio, was extremely kind and even though we didn't come out of the dance (our event) on time, Sergio was there on time, which is totally our mistake.. but I'm glad we managed to leave prom safely :) I know I was kind of unorganized because I took a while to reply back to Modern Limousine and get back to them with my info, but thank you again for providing us with the limo in the end :) My group of friends and I were a bit late with the reservation, so I'm so glad Sam made our night possible!! I'm surprised at all the 5 star ratings (that's why I chose Modern). First the good stuff: On time and very nice driver. The bad things: The air conditioner was stuck on the coldest setting. The birthday girl had cold wind blowing in her face. Then, we decided to try the moon roof, it opened but didn't close. The driver had to pull over and reset the passenger cabin. Yea, it closed. He then showed us how the A/C works after the restart and hit the buttons up to 80 degrees and went back to drive. I spent the next 5 minutes trying to bring it back down to no avail - had to roll down the windows. Other than that, we all had to get out and push the car when he got it wedged into a curb. I'll try a different company next time. read more

Used this service last night... Couldn't be more pleased. There was six of us going to a B-Day party at Lucky Strike in Hollywood. We were initially going to drive and then decided to take a limo service to avoid getting DUI. We called in and Sam answered... It basically cost us about $30 each to have them pick us up from my house in Glendale and drop us off in front of LS in Hollywood. Our driver Arthur was in front of my house 10 minutes after we got off the phone... Very professional, Opened doors for everyone, played the type of music we wanted, made two stops for us at an ATM and at 7-11 and dropped us off right in front of the door. We called him direct at 1:30AM and he was there to pick us up in under 10 minutes again. He gave us all fresh bottled water as he figured we would need after a night of drinking and made sure we were all home safe. This is going to be my new way of transportation from now on.
