They play good calming music and I love the vibe. I hadn't worked with anyone yet so I asked for whoever and he did a really good job! The other nail artists had appointments back to back with loyal clients and I feel like that's a great sign. Then a 3rd woman came in for a pedicure and a staff member came from the back on her cell phone speaker mode talking to a man and children the entire pedicure. The pedicure was ok but ruined by the lack of personal communication. Next was my full set and I showed her a picture of what I wanted. Short, active style and no point to the nail. She started to file them into a point and they were long. I had to stop her and tell her they were too long and I didn't want a point. Another woman came in for nails and then both staff members talked the entire time they were working on our nails. Completely unprofessional. My nails were ok when finished but the worst $120 experience at a nail salon. Never again.

We found Sole Purpose while looking up 'medical pedicures' and Dee Dee seems to be the only person in this area that offers them. Her little studio is impeccably clean and cute and because she is the only person doing nails in her studio and her focus is on footcare from a health perspective, a good portion of her clientele are men so she's not using a whole lot of nail polish or nail polish remover which means no chemical smell that you typically find in most nail salons. Everything she uses on you is either sterlized to hospital standards (metal implements are individually sealed) or used once, so no need to worry about catching something gross. All of this cleanliness and her prices are considerably less than any high end salon I've been to in the OKI area. Her late night hours are great, lots of parking and she has a great personality. My husband and I come in about once a month. He gets his feet smoothed out and I'll treat myself to a polish change. Dee Dee does a great job on both of our feet - we'll be going to her for a long time.

Let me tell you, this was the longest time my nails still looked good! I think almost 4 weeks? No chipping or peeling. I've been back a couple times after this.
