There is nothing better than yoga "on the beach" except when you're on the beach and under cover! That's the best! We had yoga on really sunny, hot days and rainy days. It was just perfect! Always under the roof. Off season, you'll find me taking classes at the Brielle Library. Patty is fabulous and encouraging whether you're a beginner or experienced yogi. The classes got really crowded by September so don't delay in reserving your future spot!

The ambience in the studio is perfect and the variety of equipment also makes the experience interesting and challenging. Most of the women support each other and I look forward to seeing them each week. Being an Unlimited member, I can book up to 15 classes at a time and rarely miss out on a class due to a waitlist. In the summer, the population seems to swell and you're more likely to be waitlisted but I have been #8 and still gotten into class. Club Pilates has been transformative for me and I highly recommend it.

Also, I noticed that once I move up to be 1st in line, only to wake up the next morning and see that I was moved back to 3rd in line (this happened 2x with instructor Irene). If you a long time member and wish to advance your difficulty, some classes that I booked for level 2 are virtually impossible to get into as I'm constantly (for the past month) being removed from the class (this happened with instructors Irene and Juliana).

I have taken a barre class, Pilates, and barrelattes, which is a mix of the two. I recently took their barre crawl class two days ago. I am a member of ClassPass, so I paid $25 for the class. I arrived 10 minutes early. As soon as you walk in, they take your name and ask what size t-shirt you want. The t-shirt was so cute. It said "Meet Me at the barre," and it was a gray tank top with white lettering. I thought it would look very cute, but I didn't put it on because I like to wash everything before wearing it. Almost everyone else put on their t-shirts right away, except for about three other women. They had a choice of small, medium, or large. The first part of the evening was the barre class. Everyone got their shirts and went in for class. A woman with blonde hair helped me. She could be one of the owners or instructors, I'm not sure, but she was extremely helpful. She gave me a resistance band and a ball and helped me get the correct form. I really appreciated that because she noticed I was doing one exercise incorrectly, and she explained that it was why my back was hurting. The class was challenging. I would rate it about an eight out of ten, but I liked it a lot and definitely plan to come back. Everyone in the class was friendly. I don't usually talk to people in exercise classes because I'm still trying to build a regular habit, so I didn't know everyone, but the atmosphere was very welcoming. Part of the evening included little sample cups of smoothies. There were three different types and some snacks, which were nice. After class, everyone went over to the bar in the same shopping center, but I went home. Overall, I loved it. I've been to this studio a couple of times, and every time I enjoy the class. The instructors are very kind, answer any questions, and help you work on your form. I definitely recommend this studio. I almost forgot: After the workout, I saw many women wiping off their workout ball with hydrogen peroxide spray. So, this was a courteous and healthy gesture to do for the next guests. I look forward to my next class there!
