We needed our basement refinished after some water damage and demo a French Drian was installed. They installed new stairs, framing, electrical and dry wall. Not to mention jacking up our house to replace the main joist! We're amazed at how he was able to maximize the space for the area we wanted. After multiple discoveries racking up in cost, we finally decided to email them. They were prompt with a response and a refund. We only asked for a refund for the work we found problems with, which was roughly 1/3 of the cost we paid for all of the work that they did.

He has great communication skills, always keeping up with us via email or text. He had two other men he worked with and they were fast and polite. As a woman, I've felt uncomfortable being alone with or I've been condescended to by other contractors. I never felt this way with Elias and his team. That's worth a lot to me. We hired Quality Construction to install drywall and insulation in our basement. It was done fast and they did a good job. He was accommodating when we had to have them break for an electrician to come in. It was done in about three days. One of the guys accidentally broke a lamp and Elias offered to reimburse us for it. He's a stand-up guy and he does a great job.

Yes, you did provide an estimate on stair railings and I did go a different way because you could not provide the style railings I wanted. But it was totally unprofessional to go through the motions of providing an estimate with no intention of doing so, and then not telling me that in the beginning, especially after I asked about your interest in the project. Because of Darren, we do it every day! Darren refinished a ~30 year old hardwood floor that had yellowed, shown wear from traffic, had missing pieces of wood, and damage from chemical spills. From the very first time I reached out, his communication was excellent. He visited our home to see the floor, take measurements, and recommend and explain a refinishing process. Darren gave us options for type of polyurethane, colors, finish (matte vs. gloss) while offering recommendations from his many decades of experience. Within several hours we had a very fair quote and were booked several weeks out. Well fast forward almost a year later and now there is a baby in the house that is ready to move. In my childproofing quest, I told my husband that now is the time to get the stair handrail fixed. He found The Finishing Company. We advised Brian why rods we would like and that our stairwell was loose. Brian said no problem.
