Y'all need to come here! I've only gotten haircuts for myself and my Boys, but these ladies at Modesto Cuts are THE BEST!!! They listen to exactly what you want, or make suggestions as to what would work/look better. They don't just cut your hair with whatever they feel like doing which I feel most people do. They cut your hair in stages too and let you check progress to make sure you're happy with what they're doing. My hair is almost to my waist and I get layers and they take off exactly how much I want to a T and they're layering and fading skills are on point! I never leave this long of a review, but as a Mama of 4 boys I've walked out of shops who charge twice as much so disappointed by the crappy haircuts my Son's have gotten. They keep prompt on appointments and you never have to wait long as a walk-in too. Long story short...build up local small business and go straight to these ladies! My first time at this salon was great with Donna so I went back in Oct. for a cut and Perm. Donna was no longer working there so by chance I was assigned to Danielle. I can honestly say that she gave me the worst hair cut and permanent that I have ever had and I have had more over the last twenty years than I can recall. Danielle is arrogant and does not listen to the customer. She asked me if I wanted my hair cut before or after the perm. I said before. Right after she said I'll cut it after. All she did was tweak a few spots she chose. I have to live with her disaster until it grows out a bit to have a competent hairdresser deal with it. I can't imagine why the shop owner keeps her employed except that many people just decide never to go there again. If you decide to go there, make sure you get somebody other than Danielle. I came in for a last lift, that was done by the owner. I believe her name is Minh. She is very friendly and nice. I would have to give 5 stars for customer service. I am very unhappy with my lash lift. I've had lash lifts done at other salons in the past, and always love the results because it makes my lashes look so long. I so regret having my lashes done at Modesto Cuts. The ends of my lashes are frizzy and going in crazy directions. The cost of the lash lift was $63, very steep for such poor results. I don't know if she just left the solution on too long, or just used the wrong size roller, or what, but my lashes look so bad. The eyelash lift included a relaxing scalp massage. Overall, the experience was nice, but my lashes look so bad even with mascara. I am so bummed out. I was looking forward to not having to curl my eyelashes every morning before mascara. Now, my lashes just look worse. I cannot recommend this place for eyelash lift to anybody. read more

i am a real customer, ex customer! how dare you blame me for moving, i never moved, you did not listen to how i wanted my hair cut, it was only a couple weeks ago, i wanted my hair cut in towards my face and bangs as well and showed you a picture and my hair looks nothing like what i wanted. now iys goung to take me years to grow it long again, you should never cut hair again. read more
