Our technician LG did a wonderful job cleaning the area rugs and cloth furniture in our home. While we did not have any visible stains, we had plenty of dirt and dog/cat dander which was starting to stink. Our rugs and furniture were not easily cleaned with my own attempts and with weekly Febreeze spraying. The house is now squeaky clean and doesn't smell like our pets. In the future, I'll call to book tile/grout cleaning as well as hardwood cleaning. I need to be better about having all my rugs/furniture cleaned once or twice a year as well! The carpets in the house we are renting have unfortunately been destroyed by previous pets. They were cleaned before we moved in, I'm not sure by who. We have been in the house a few months now and some days the smell of urine and whatever they used to try and cover the smell is nauseating. Not to mentioned they were stained horribly. I had the carpets cleaned this morning and I can not believe how great they look. And there is no unpleasant smell . I did not opt for the full treatment to remove the pet stains because I don't plan on being here very long, and with the amount of damage it wasn't worth the cost for me. However the service was very knowledgeable and provided me with lots of info, on the most cost effective way to treat the problem. He was on time and professional. Great service. I have been a loyal Moen customer for years and years, recommending them to friend and clients. I had service to clean my sofa. During that cleaning, the equipment pulled the threads on my very expensive sofa in patches in several places. My technician came to try to fix it, but was unable. I called the company many, many times and left around 20 or more messages, to the point that the ladies taking the messages started apologizing for no one calling me back. I remained kind throughout and was thanked by the message center for that. I sent a letter and left a note at Paul and Jana Moen's business. That began 12/17. It is now 2 months later, and have I heard one whisper? No, I haven't. If a business can't stand behind their work for a long-time client who has sent them many customers, what does that say about the owners? We'll take your money and your referrals, but don't back our service. read more

I was EXTREMELY satisfied with the treatment I received from this company over the past couple of weeks. Kyle and his partner (I'm so sorry I did not catch his name) were friendly, on-time, and did an absolutely excellent job treating the carpets in my apartment. The previous resident basically let his dog treat the apartment as one giant pee-pad (no exaggeration, unfortunately) and I was extremely concerned about being able to return the carpets to smelling and looking nicely and all I have to say after the treatment is that PURT is MAGIC--the carpets no longer smell and I can finally live in my room without instantly becoming nauseated. What I especially appreciated was the follow-up visit without my having to even request it! The guys returned (once again, on-time) and I pointed out some spots that may have needed some extra treatment in my bedroom and they cleaned the entirety of the carpet again rather than merely spot-treat. They were once again quick and efficient and my carpet now looks fantastic. It was expensive to do the pet urine treatment, but I knew steam cleaning would have done absolutely nothing because it was soaked into the boards so I highly recommend the PURT treatment if you had the same issues as I did! read more

we hired them to clean our carpet and also do the upholstery on both our sofa and loveseat. they arrived in the time that we were given, and called before hand to let us know exactly when they would arrive. the technician was very informative and offered us other services. we live in a rental and he explained that some of the staining we saw was from prior animal urine that had come up from the subfloor/pad. they were able to get some of the staining out of the carpet, and it looked much better when they finished. it was nice because the carpet was almost dry within an hour of them cleaning it; the upholstery took overnight but they had told us it would take longer to dry. all in all a great experience. will definitely use them again and suggest them to friends. read more

Just like another poster, I moved into a house with carpets that had seemingly been used as litter boxes. (I had no idea how bad they were until the Moen technician used UV lighting, which reflects the pet stainds. Yuck!) I called the company around noon, the technician was at my house by around 5:00 pm the same day, and worked well past 8:00 pm. The results are amazing. Their technician Bill C. was terrific - explained everything well, took his time examining all the areas, and then worked really hard cleaning the carpets. I was afraid I would have to replace some or all of the carpets - but thanks to Bill/Moen they are as good as new as can be expected. BTW the carpets are all off white, so particularly difficult to clean - even the "traffic" type dirt is gone! read more

We used Moen Chem Dry to avoid wet carpets for a full day and being unable to move furniture back into the cleaned rooms, The carpets were supposed to be dry in a matter of a few hours. We called our local franchise to advise that after 6 hours the carpeting was still saturated. We were given feeble excuses and they finally agreed to send another rep out that evening. He came and attempted to squeegee water from the carpet then allow a high speed fan to circulate air over the carpet. It an't until the next day we felt comfortable returning the furniture. We expected a call the next day from the company to check on our satisfaction. No follow-up received. We will have a very difficult time recommending this franchise. read more

We purchased a Groupon deal for $99.00 to clean 3 rooms and a staircase. We had a total of approximately 600 sq ft to clean. Kyle arrived on time, was very courteous, explained all the options and then did the cleaning. No pressure like many companies who drive you nuts with additional services. Very considerate and careful of our home taking great care not to make any wall marks with the hoses. Took about 75 minutes to clean everything. Drying time was very fast compared to most carpet cleaners we have used in the past. Within 3 hours about 90% was dry. I used a couple of fans to dry a few damp spots in he corners. I would use this service again without hesitation. read more

When I finally called to make an appointment again the lady that picked up the phone was very nice and answered all my questions thoroughly. I received a call from the technician and he said he would be at my house in thirty mins. He arrived on time and went over everything very throughly and did an excellent job. We were referred to Moen Chem Dry and they do a nice job cleaning carpets, but they have lost my business because they have damaged some of the corners in my house from their equipment and will not do anything to correct the situation. I called the owner and spoke to them indicating that we had an issue with the corners in our house and they sent someone out to take pictures. Then when I called to check on the status, they indicated that there's no way their technician could have caused it, that it was normal wear and tear and they were not responsible. When I indicated the corners were not in that state before the technician arrived and the technician had not started cleaning carpets with any corner guards on, they stated that it was not true, there were corner guards used and it was not their problem. The technician started using 2 corner guards on the downstairs corners part way into cleaning the upstairs. The upstairs corners are the worst. Please be careful of letting someone into your house that may cause more issues than they fix! Sad because they would have kept my business and anyone I knew if they had handled this properly. I will now always take before photos before I have any work done inside my home and these guys will most certainly not be invited back. read more

My husband and I bought our home over 4 years ago. The previous owners had spent a lot of money at some point having very high-quality carpet and padding laid down. However, they also must've kept their dog locked up inside a lot because there were a number of pet stains. Prior to our moving in, we used Capture on the stains, and a number of them did come up, but not all. We then had Stanley Steemer come out and steam clean the carpet. That got out more, but still not all. However, it made the carpet bearable to live with. Despite the few remaining stains, the carpet looked and felt great. Plus, with so many other expenses at the time, we just didn't have the extra money to turn around and put the same quality of carpet down. As we all know, stains tend to re-appear over time, and our carpet was no exception. We were just about to have it ripped up when I decided to try Chem-Dry. First off, I cannot believe they were able to get a technician out the very same day that I called. On top of that, Tom, our tech, was running ahead of schedule, so he called 2 hours before we were expecting him to see if he could come on out. He was very professional, and he explained everything to us. We ended up opting for just the basic cleaning that they do because we were skeptical it'd be any better than other professional services. It took him less than 2 hours to do the job, but our carpet looks literally brand new! I still cannot believe it! He was able to get out the stains that even Stanley Steemer couldn't get out! And, just as they advertise, the carpet was dry in about 2 hours. By the time we headed for bed last night, you'd have never known we'd had the carpet cleaned just a few hours earlier...except for by how exceptional it looks! I'm so thankful to have been granted this financial reprieve! For as long as the carpet fibers will continue to look and feel good, I plan to continue using Chem-Dry to help me keep it looking practically brand new until we just have to replace it. I can't recommend their services highly enough! read more
