    Beautiful lake next to store.

We stopped here on our way to Leavenworth. The nice lady that helped us said that they make their own fudge so we bought some and I bought a bag of lightly coated popcorn. We haven't eaten the fudge yet but I nibbled on the popcorn and it is insanely DELICIOUS! Giant size pieces of popcorn that got me wondering where the popcorn kernels came from because I've been looking for some big kernels. The store is so organized and there's even a wall of hot sauces to choose from. There's also an added bonus if you stop here - a beautiful lake that reflects the trees on the water.

Village Alps has the biggest selection of taffy I've ever seen anywhere along with very random souvenirs of WA state, Leavenworth, and then totally off the beaten path bizarro things like socks proclaiming "MEAT." Did not buy one thing in here but it was a hoot to look at some of the weirdo stuff they sell. I think I got diabetes for 10 minutes just from the amount of sugar in the air. Didn't see one employee in the place the entire time.

I'll give it a 3.5 stars! We did leave with a huge bag of Taffy - it's probably the most taffy I've seen in one place at one time! However after eating them for a few days, most are good but there's definitely some that taste older than others. The store is also so cramped, there's no room to squeeze by anyone or even stand in a line for the cashier. It's definitely not great considering the current Covid conditions, but it is a cool spot to come to get your candy fix. They also sell other small things, but most of it I find to be unnecessary and a bit random. The person at the front counter though was SO friendly and great!

Toxic Waste candy - my kid had been looking for this for a year.

I always visit here when in town. One of my favorites to buy taffy and different souvenirs.

My cousin and I were on a mission to find unique items hopefully locally made and The Village Alps absolutely did not disappoint.

This year we returned (it's our tradition) and it was just as bad if not worse. They no longer have the fancier caramel apples, they have very simple varieties. The most notable flavor missing for our family was Tiger Butter. They also don't offer nice plastic boxes to take your apples. We used to buy several apples and take a few home as gifts. Now they offer these cheap baskets that hardly hold a heavy apple, and they don't hold up as you walk to even your car let alone around Leavenworth shopping. We've paid much more for gourmet caramel apples in the past, please consider raising your prices and bringing back the quality and beautiful presentation. The pictures on this yelp page do not reflect the drop quality of the last two years. Also yelp has this business marked as closed, which it is not.

Sweet Tooth Heaven!…read more This is hands-down my favorite chocolate shop--and trust me, I've made it my mission to visit every location. I'll happily go out of my way just to snag a caramel apple (or two... okay, sometimes three). Totally worth the detour! My sons are obsessed with the fudge--it's rich, smooth, and basically disappears the second we get home. The apples? Always fresh, beautifully made, and packed with flavor. So many unique combinations to choose from, it's nearly impossible to pick just one. The shop itself has such a warm, welcoming vibe, and the staff is always super friendly and helpful. It feels like a little slice of chocolatey heaven. Do yourself (and your sweet tooth) a favor--stop in and treat yourself and the fam. You won't regret it!

Reminds me of the childhood days my entire household as a youth brightened up every December. Upon entering you are consumed by bright lights and sparkly ornaments.... As you venture from room to room you'll discover very common stuff to very religious stuff... My favorite being the lamps with blowing snow inside them. I could stare for hours at a miniature snowstorm consuming the city... Now upstairs is more including hundred of individual ornaments. Some themed and some not but defiantly something for everyone.. Pricing is kinda high but if you're in Leavenworth the. your on vacation so it's time to splurge... Defiantly if you're shopping on Front Street you'll wanna put this on your must see stores... Have fun if your celebrating Christmas and for those who don't well don't spoil it by being a GRINCH. And yes they have Grinch stuff for the a-holes who don't get the Christmas spirt!

The back room with all the miniature displays/villages is so captivating. These individual pieces are rich in their pricing.... so I'm content with just looking. I always take photos, no matter how many times I stop here. In the past I've purchased a few faux floral bouquets, and ornaments (of course). I like the items from designer Mark Roberts; during my recent visit, I didn't see many faux floral bouquet options as there used to be.
