At this point, I genuinely don't think I'll be eating at Moe's again. I placed my order through the app and very clearly selected what I did not want. Somehow, that translated into getting exactly what I asked to leave off. If I say no beans, I really don't think that's a complicated request--but apparently it is at this location. And it wasn't just my order. My girlfriend didn't ask for lettuce and still got it, while I got beans I specifically asked to leave off. It honestly felt like they just made both orders the same and got them wrong in different ways. Impressive, in the worst way. Beyond being frustrating, this kind of mistake could actually be a problem for someone with food allergies or dietary restrictions. The mobile order process was just as bad. She placed the order about 25 minutes ahead of time, got there expecting it to be ready... and then had to wait another 25 minutes before they even started making it. The whole point of a mobile order is convenience, but they weren't even paying attention to mobile orders at all. She literally had to step up and make herself known just to get them to acknowledge it. Then there's the salsa situation. The app lets you choose from multiple salsas, but when she got there, she was told there were none available except the basic one. Not only that, but the manager told her she'd have to go fill the containers herself. So let me get this straight--you can order different salsas on the app, but in reality they're not available, and somehow that becomes the customer's responsibility? Makes sense. I get that places get busy. I really do. But reading an order correctly, paying attention to mobile orders, and having basic items available shouldn't be too much to ask--especially when Moe's is literally known for having multiple salsa options. What makes it worse is I had just finished an 11-hour shift and was actually looking forward to this meal. Instead, we both tried to eat what we got and ended up throwing most of it away. That's how off everything was. Yes, the manager processed a refund--but being told it'll take up to seven days doesn't exactly help when I'm hungry right now. At that point, it doesn't fix anything. Upon entry, there was a rank smell that I noticed( almost made me leave), but my daughter convinced me to check out the appearance of the good area. To my surprise it was very clean and the food looked tasteful. Overall, our food orders were good. The staff was awesome. My advice. I really really love moes. however, this location left me with a disappointing experience. I craved it all day and decided I could grab some and make it in time for my brothers baseball game. except I didn't. I waited in line for 30 min. 30 min!! i was growing frustrated and hungry as the line barely moved. It was obvious they were prioritizing everything DoorDash and such. Which I get they need to make those orders fast, but it doesn't mean u need to neglect and ignore the guests that are literally standing on the other side of the glass waiting until they will be noticed. Chick-fil-A doesn't ignore their guests to make DoorDash orders. it was like everyone was snails. I finally got my food. sadly, it did not taste like the normal moes burrito. did not taste fresh. tasted old. i then went to grab salsas and they were all out of the poblano cremo thing, my fav. then I got to the car and realized they put my queso upside down and it spilled all over my chips. so then I went inside and they gave me queso, and a larger size. that was nice of them. except I missed my brothers entire baseball game. ENTIRE game. i didnt get to see my brother play at all because I spent the whole evening in the moes line. i love u moes plz dont let me down again. Yesterday, I tried to order online at 5:00PM, 6:00PM, and 7:00PM. The message came back that this location was closed. I went in to order directly and the employee said they were closed, it was 7:55PM. The sign on the door said 9:00PM. This is not the first time. it is actually the third time I could not order online. The last time was on 02/23/205 and when I complained about the situation, someone responded back to me that this would be resolved. Also to give them another try. This store encountered an issue with wifi while we were first in line. We stood in front of the register for 30 minutes while the manager was on the phone with IT. While we stayed calm, the staff never spoke to us or offered us food free or even discounted. After 35+ minutes of waiting, we left the line without our food and very hungry The manager even had me testing my card again after 30 minutes, making me (attempt to) pay full price while the food had sat there getting cold. They never offered any apology or solution, hardly even any eye contact. Unfortunate because i've liked this Moe's in the past, but won't be coming back. Well, I've eaten here frequently and until tonight I haven't had any issues. To be honest I'm quite irritated and fired up. I left the lake at 7:30 pm and stopped in the parking lot to place a pickup order from Moe's in Acworth. The order went through at 7:35 pm for one Taco meal kit and one Fajita meal kit totaling $125 and some change. Pickup time was 8:12. I sent my oldest son (23) to grab it for me as I have done many times before with this same order and upon arriving at 8:13 he was told they were still putting it together and then told it had already been picked up. Obviously we had not done so yet. They took plenty of time to "try and figure it out" instead of jumping in and remaking the order that they had given away to someone else. See, Moe's thinks it's convenient to place online/app/delivery orders on a shelf or table for pickup instead of behind their counter. The customers name is on the sticker on the outside of the meal kits so all someone had to do was walk up, glance at the name and state that was them and they were picking up their order. They do not check for order numbers, email proof or any other proof. The workers tonight decided they did not feel like remaking the order as they were close to closing (at 9pm) even though this was placed at 7:35 and it was currently a quarter past 8. By the time they decided to issue a refund and figure out how to do so as there was no manager on duty it was 8:50. For somewhere that I frequent so often and have had no issues with (but always gave the side eye for their pick up process) I'm beyond upset. We will see if the money was correctly refunded but Moe's should take a look into their pickup process as well as into employees effort towards the job and customers. I guess I'll be ordering from the Moe's closer to Barrett Parkway from now on if I get a craving or just order to go from the Mexican restaurant down the street. read more

Went in on a Thursday evening, it was pretty empty inside. The service was extremely lacking, not very friendly or welcoming. The scout size was ridiculously small like sample size I had to repeatedly ask for a little more. Also asked for the salsa already in the cups as I personally don't care for the open self serve salsa bar and you would've thought that was a difficult, as they already had them made up. I go here at least once a week and today was not very good. When ordering a burrito you should have equal ingredients on it. Today only a few pieces of chicken and tons of beans and rice. When I asked for a little more chicken because there was not much on it they said it would cost extra. What is happening with restaurants now. So the new job has me working kinda strange hours and as I'm in training right now, I'm tagging along with a rep whose territory is Acworth. This has meant several quick (translation: nowhere you have waiter service) meals over the past few days. Today, it was Moe's. I'm writing this review for one main reason, and one smaller one. I have eschewed Moe's in general because I find their "Welcome to Moe's!!!!" (heart-hug, heart-hug voices being used, or else just a bellow towards the door) incredibly grating. This location, however, had enough enthusiasm without being aggravatingly cloying. I didn't get prickly hairs on the back of my neck when I heard it, so to speak. The second reason is that (at least here) you can get a taco - I got a soft chicken one- that's described as coming with beans, cheese, lettuce and pico, with additional ingredients like guac, cilantro, sour cream or as my dining partner also added, olives - for the menu board price. No extra charge. That's pretty cool as even Willy's charges for guac (I think $0.80). The taco was ok, though the meat wasn't very seasoned so I added salt. The price is a little higher than I'd like given other places to get *real* tacos - you're close to $4 for one, though they do cut you a deal on 3. Then again, this is a chain and when you're in the far 'burbs . . . Decent pick based on location, cleanliness, speed and nice people. Oh! And they also have a sign at the register that lets you know you can get a discount on an order from Menchie's froyo two doors down! read more

Beware if you dine here they charge you for items without your knowledge. Employees argued that we were informed and we were not! When my husband questioned them about the charge I was called a liar! So much for any customer service. The up charge was not the real problem $1.09 no big deal it was the principle! Manager/owner was sitting at a table near the register so he heard the whole thing and he gathered up his papers and went to hide in the kitchen. Sorry really sorry!!! We have dinned at other Moe's where you can see what you are paying for well not this location in Acworth. My husband spoke to the manager and what a surprise he did not care. Approximately 5 customers came in and were served while online orders were made last. Finally received food 20 minutes later, owner would only say he was swamped. We made it all the way home before we realized so we gave them a call. They were so rude when they answered the phone and didn't even hear us out before jumping to conclusions. The review is actually for the customer service from one cashier (don't know her name). I come to this location about 2-3 times per week for lunch because it's convenient but I won't return anymore. I was here just yesterday and got the new quinoa bowl. Everyone was super excited that I was trying the new quinoa bowl and asked me to leave reviews. Well I liked it so much that I told many people about it and came in the next day (today for another). I ordered it the exact same way (which yesterday, I asked "what comes on this bowl?) and when I get to the end, my price was $1.50 more. The bowl is already expensive so no one really wants to spend close to $12 dollars at Moe's for one person. When I asked why is it so much and I was just here yesterday and ordered the exact same thing, she responds, "because you got queso." I replied that I ordered my bowl the exact same way as yesterday and I don't understand why I'm being charged for something extra when this is what I was told comes on the bowl. Instead of being apologetic about the misunderstanding or them not being upfront about their extra charges, the girl wants to argue. So then we went back and forth about the extra charge so I said well make it over because I don't want to pay extra if it doesn't come on there. It was only then that she went to the back, spoke with her manager I assumed, and then came out and says "well we won't charge you today but next time it's going to be extra". Little girl, there won't be a next time because you don't know how to treat a loyal customer smh. Learn some customer service. And it's not about the dollar. It's the principle. read more

Family and I went in for dinner last night ..... bad idea When making my daughters quesadilla the girl dropped half the toppings on the floor and just shrugged her shoulders and then burnt it..... and then served it I asked for a steak bowl and then saw what they considered steak and asked it to be remade as a veggie bowl. The steak was a weird color and looked inedible. No where near the quality of Chipotle. My wife and i's bowls were cold as soon as we took our first bite.... I went to this Moe's today and had an awesome experience. Surprisingly, their "Welcome to Moes!" was lacking as I walked in the door. As I went through the line, a Moe's employee named Sheridan helped me with my order. She was not only very helpful, but also very funny and a great conversationalist. I made a joke, and she kept rolling with it the whole way through until I was practically out the door. This is not the first problem we have had with this store. However, bringing issues to the owner's attention is doing nothing so I won't even bother anymore. We consistently use this location and we order online. The staff is always rude and they are terribly understaffed. I arrived at my pick up time and stood where I always stand to pick up my order. A couple minutes pass and a gentleman asks me to stand in line. I inform him I have an online order and he says "oh. Our machine broke so we didn't get all of it. We only got half of it." He takes a picture of my confirmation email. No apology, nothing. 20 minutes later he brings my order to me with a half hearted apology. I tell him this isn't the first time I've had a problem and he simply walks away. No one offered to give me a coupon, or credit part of my order, nothing. I get home and find my queso is missing. I call to ask how to get a refund, and for corporates phone number. I get the run around and I finally get splickit's phone number. I call them and they say that they will get my refund, and that my phone number is available to the store so they can call me with problems with my order. They did not bother to call me to let me know my order didn't completely come through. I ended up waiting 20 minutes longer than I should have and wasted time I could have spent with my family. We all work so time together through the week is precious little. I love moe's products. But I will never go to this store again. It's worth it to go through Barrett traffic to get to another location besides this place. It's always a 50/50 shot whether or not it will be a decent visit. read more

Randy Elias and Scott Paton have no customer service skills. Randy sent the rudest email from Scott's account with no desire to improve future experiences. My mom had a rock in her food which he admitted was in the beans. Randy said too bad it happens. He also insinuated I lied about every bad thing that happened. They believe their staff and restaraunt are perfect with no room to improve. Please do not waste your money at this location. If corporate only knew how they spoke to customers that speak up I doubt they would be pleased. I went to this establishment and never had a bad experience until now. I know this is a franchise and have met the owner one time - he needs to be made aware of this event. The staff was nice except the manager who was very rude to me. I am a senior citizen and the manager needs to be trained on how to treat this large group of people. I just reached over the counter to point out an ingredient to put in my burrito and the manager barked at me. I was furious and the staff looked stunned on what was happening. I have a PhD and know how to act and talk in public and was shocked from her behavior. Maria, who served our food and helped to prepare our order here a couple weeks back, was very rude. We don't typically eat at Moe's, we wandered in that day. She asked questions to my fiancé like he was an idiot, very condescending. When he wouldn't answer quickly enough for her, she became CLEARLY exasperated which I thought was terrible. Her manner was poor and her disposition was unpleasant, unfriendly, and unhappy. I'm such a big advocate for: if you're going to work with the public, you at least have to pretend like you like people. This Moe's has the WORST customer service that one could hope for. Don't we all go out occasionally to enjoy a meal and time away from stress and have some good food? Yes - the last thing I want or you is an argument. There is some great staff there but when you have multiple times of great harassment I'm over it. JORDAN is a very argumentative frustrating young man who rolls his eyes and stares you down. I had several discounts on one day. One for past service where they ran my wife off and the other was a survey. The survey was $2 and I had a $3 GC for the rude service to my wife because she said she will never come back. Get that - NEVER. So I tried to use them as they have sat for a bit. He rang me up and said $3. Well, today was Monday and my meal was $5.55 plus tax meaning it should be about $1. I told him the price was wrong and he immediately told me it was. I then said well - $6 less $5 is not $3. He then said the coupon did not apply to the already discounted items so they had to start at full price thus wasting the use altogether. I then said it would have been good to know before he rang me up as I would have not used something like that. He said well it said it right on there you could read it. I then said to him no need to give me an attitude about it. He then said he wasn't. This guy kept going back at me and I just asked him to stop. I said I really don't need this abuse I'm just trying to have lunch. He rolled his eyes several times and sighed at me. I went to the salsa bar - guy behind me tells me wow he was really rude. I would call Corporate there right down the street. I really don't need the time or aggravation but appreciated his help. As I left Jordan stared at me all the way to the door...seriously. Last straw. I then went and spoke to a manager who said they were sorry. How about asking the young man to come over and apologize like he should. If you continue to treat people this way you will lose business but I guess because so many sheep buy Moe's you don't care. I took my wife here on her day off from teaching. She doesn't go to Moe's so she doesn't know the drill and my daughter is with. My daughter has a hard time making decisions sometimes as some kids do. No one is there but two people in front of us. The people in front also have a child and take a very long time. We are not concerned but a few people come in during that time. Lady asks me what I want and things are going fast. I get to the second gal on the lettuce vegetable side and my wife literally walks away. First they mess up my daughters order then they just skip her and go behind her and the attitude from this gal was on high alert. She just wanted to get the line gone and didn't even care my wife ran off. I should have just left - but not knowing what to do I tried to finish her order and my daughters. My wife was so distraught she was miserable. She explained she didn't know what she could get with the order and the gal just threw things on there without even asking. She was abrupt, rude and wanted to move on to the next customer not her. She was already working on the next customers when I went to get it fixed. Do not come here unless you want terrible service and average tasting food with LITTLE meat. Instead go to Trackside Taqueria down the street that will give you great food and even better service. This location used to have some great employees but over the last year or so it has gone down hill. We used to go every Sunday for lunch, but we have finally given up after 5-6 poor experiences. instead of "WELCOME TO MOES" you kind of get a weld.. to..mo... mumbled under their breath. Then your burrito takes a good 5-8 minutes to build after you wait through the 25 minute line. About 50% of the tortillas are broken when the burros are rolled. They are all so busy conversing with one another to pay attention to building the usual delicious moss burritos that we all love. This location its quite as good as the others anymore. read more
