Disgusting owner, rude , food is not fresh. Spend your money anywhere else. I love Moes but not this one.

I've been to this location a couple times and it was good but this time it was absolutely terrible. The food was nasty, half the chips were stale and the other half were moist. They had no salsa and blamed it on the other shift not making any, but it was 630 in the evening when I was there. The employees there were zero help and full of excuses. I was craving a build your own burrito with regular cheese (not queso) and headed on over to Moe's. Moe's is basically like a chipotle or subway. You pick tacos, burritos, salad, etc, and you get to pick your meat and fixings. The meat and veggies simply did not look appetizing. Everything looked over cooked or pale like it was cooked a day ago. The green bell peppers were a faded green color, the lettuce was visibly brown, and the salsas looked like they went bad. The meat did not taste like it was cooked that morning. I'm sure everything was safe to eat, it just didn't look appetizing and fresh. The chips were my meal's saving grace and turned out to be delicious. However, a couple of the salsas were tasteless. They also have queso to purchase which seems to be really popular out here. The service we received from our cashier was outstanding and I thought it was cute how they had Christmas stockings for the kids to color and hang. There was plenty of booth seating and lots of families enjoying their post-church meal. It's a bummer because this restaurant has a lot of potential to be great. They just need to serve fresher food. We came in at 7:45, long before their closing time, and we're told "all we have is white rice". Got 2 chicken bowls and the whole time the guy making our bowls is talking and joking around with his co workers about whatever but nothing about fixing my bowl. I finally had to get his attention to finish making my food. He was not professional at all. The chicken had definitely been sitting too long, the rice wasn't cooked all the way through. I don't usually write reviews but this particular Moe's exceeded even my lower expectations for fast food. The food behind the glass was obviously past it's prime and needed to be thrown out and replaced. There were Nats and flies swarming all around the interior of the building. To top off the poor hygenic conditions the staff were rude and clearly unsatisfied with their current employment as they casually threw ingredients into a poorly constructed burrito. Zero stars due to sanitation issues and poor service. I wouldn't let any elderly, todlers, chemo patients, Joe Biden or anyone with a compromised immune system eat a meal here. I might be in the early stages of food poisoning because my insides are turning like hurricane Katrina. The people who manage this particular Moe's clearly do not care and it shows. read more

Life is full of hardships, such as losing a loved one, financial losses, and the day I chose to eat at this Moe's in Enterprise, Alabama. I support the fantastic idea of hiring only mentally handicapped employees, but it would be best if they had more guidance. The rice was dried out and hard, both white and brown. The steak was bland and greasy so I suppose it's a good thing I only got a teaspoon of it. The photo with this review is the size of my "burrito." So small the cashier thought it was a junior. I told her "no, that's just how they made it for some reason." She replied "alright" and continued to charge me full price for this morsel of food. all i'll say is I really like moes. and i really like this location. the food taste awesome and it doesn't take long to make. maybe the customer service isn't the best, but it's a fast food joint and i'm not expecting much. moes doesn't specialize in customer service like other places such as chick fil a. if they did, then this would be a different review. i come for the food, and i am more than satisfied. all in all the location is generally clean. people shouldn't make such a big fuss about customer service especially since they aren't getting paid enough to be there or deal with you. if you are looking for quick, good food for a reasonable price, then this is it. Wow, while the food (burritos and tacos) are okay, I had to point out a nickel and dime policy. You can get salsa for the chips they give free with your order, but you have to get it in tiny plastic cups which makes it real hard to enjoy the chips when your concentrating with all your might to get a little salsa from the cup to the chip. So I asked for a slightly larger paper cup that they put Qeso and such in. Turns out they charge you $3.20 something for the empty cup. It's POLICY. The burritos are wrapped pretty tight and they tend to leak near the end, and strangely ALWAYS the end you finish with, go figure. The tacos are pretty good (hamburger) but those corn soft shells are finicky. I recommend bringing some kind of disposable cup with you if you want salsa for your chips. Honestly, the "Qeso" is more like warm liquid tofu to me... almost no taste, but I know tastebuds can be unique to each, so to those who enjoy Qeso, more power to you. read more

Let's discuss what "Moe Monday" is... The sign states any burrito, chips and drink for $6.99. So I order the half chicken and half beef. I get to the register and find out that the charge for the half scoop of beef is .99 cent up-sale. Here is my problem with this... First, the regular up-sale for beef is only .50 cents on any other day besides Moe Monday. Second, the manager that added the steak to my burrito failed to inform me that it was .99 cents to add it. Third, when I explained at the register that I only got half beef, the cashier continued to tell me that half and half would actually be more expensive and that I was getting a good deal?!?!?! You have got to me kidding me. There is no logic in that. After getting worked up during my meal I explained my dissatisfaction to the said manager. She then refunded my $1.09 Your customers are not stupid. Fix your sign or live up to your offer. read more

I remember a time when this was arguably one of my favorite restaurants but somewhere along the way between rising prices and recipe changes they have really fallen off in quality, service and more and it seems to be across the entire chain of restaurants. I witnessed her wipe her gloved hand on her dirty apron and sweaty face and then continued using those same gloves to make my food.. This place is trash. Needs new everything. Management and product especially. Tried eating here 3 times so far. 1st was normal, only reason I had came back, 2nd time the rice was stale (like eating small rocks) and the other toppings weren't fresh at all, 3rd time I was in a bit of a time crunch and the staff took 5 minutes extra to open their doors (opens at 10:30 but opened at 10:35) so that was cruddy enough, but lastly to put it all over the edge. I use to eat here frequently until one day the owner told me 'I own this place, and I have the right to give a military discount or not. I am choosing not to give a military discount bc it's not a corporate decision, it's my decision.' He said a few other rude comments about Soldiers asking for a discount, but I won't go there. This is by far the worst Moe's I've ever dined. The only good thing about this Moe's is it's clean. Service is no good. I once talked to a manager about how the portions are much smaller than the other Moe's I've been too. He explained to me how ppl have been throwing away their food. So I dont know what to say about that. Portion sizes are as small as it gets and, somehow you pay more. On top if that there's no military discount. The military makes this area, how do you not have a military discount. Only this Moe's. The quality of the food is fine Moe's quality. However, like other reviews, this particular restaurant charges way too much money! It has been a long time since I've lived in an area with Moe's, so I was very excited to go here for Moe's Monday. It seems that the price has gone from $5 Mondays to $6.99 Mondays. It seems that it is a dollar more in Enterprise than in Dothan. When I got to the cash register, the bill was over $8! Apparently, getting steak is a $1 upcharge. Thankfully they told me that once I was paying, and not before. It also does NOT say anything about the upcharge anywhere in the store, and the poster in the window says "ANY burrito". I was very tempted to give them their burrito back and not pay for it, but my stomach was too set on having a Homewrecker. In the future, I'll drive to Dothan for Moe's. They not only have a military discount, but they charge prices that are more reasonable for the area and they're friendlier. Even with the extra gas, I'll probably save money. Two stars instead of one, because the burrito was delicious. P.S. I didn't even get greeted with "Welcome to Moe's!" when I walked into this empty restaurant. Decent location for lunch today, although I wasn't blown away by the experience. I got a chicken salad bowl with no tortilla shell and it was solid. I always get the nachos and they always pile on the toppings! It is absolutely huge and I can never finish it all. They also do not go skimpy on the queso. They cover the top with cheese.
