I highly recommend Moe's Southwest Grill in Harrisonburg. The restaurant and bathrooms are so very cleaned, organized, and very well stocked. The 2 guys working there Friday between 11am -1pm - were the sweetest and friendliest to guys to welcome me into a restaurant. One I believe es the manager and I told him personally how great the store looked. I could see this dude owning a place of his own, he's knowledgeable, has a great personality, and took pride and what he does and so did the the gentlemen doing my food :) It was picture worthy :) I just forgot to snap one it looked so yummy!!!! I will drive 45 minutes to revisit this location, thanks to the two gentlemen and quality good food of Moe's Southwest. read more

My girlfriend and I ordered food here while they were super busy and the cashier gave us free drinks while we waited for the food and the manager gave us coupons and brownies after our order was finished. Very polite and the food was great. The wait wasn't even that crazy either. read more

DO NOT ORDER CATERING. Requested taco bar for 30. We couldn't eat tacos because they forgot the shells. We couldn't eat nachos with the chips because they forgot the plates. Sooooo, I don't generally review fast food unless it is really outstanding or exceptionally awful. So from the rating, you can guess which direction this experience went. We went here about 1 pm on a Friday. Four people on deck behind the grill and no one in front of us and no one behind us until half way through the order. Hubs ordered the home wrecker. One guy starts slowly assembling it. The other guy watches and the third guy? He is taking photos of the ingredients in line. Not one, but a bunch, getting all artistic with his angles and close ups. Then he disappears. Hubs says, I think my wife is ordering something also. Assembly guy looks up and slides the rest of the burrito over to silent watcher to finish and starts my order. Hubs goes to the restroom while they finish up his and make my quesadilla. Silent watcher guy is struggling to close up the monster burrito. His gloves start sliding off and get partially rolled into the burrito and he has to start again. Meanwhile, hubs comes back with an grossed out frown. He says to silent watcher guy, "You should check the men's room." Silent watcher guy stares for a minute and says, "Is there something wrong?" Bathroom was overflowing with trash, it was also on the floor, toilet seats were dirty and bathroom door did not lock. Ordered a tea with the other two things and when silent watcher guy rang us up, never produced the cup, so I had to ask for it. I realize it is hard times and good help is hard to come by. Dirty bathroom, staffing challenges and seemingly absent customer service training, those are things that can be fixed. read more

Taylor also deserves a raise for her exceptional service and is wonderful helping me choose my next big meal. I got the adobo chicken bowl and it was great! The vegetables were fresh, the beans and rice were properly cooked, and the chicken was flavorful but a bit tough. The chips were fresh and the salsa was kept very cool at its station. They gave a good serving of food but there wasn't much chicken. Ya know this place was really great when it opened but for the past few times I've been here they've messed up the burrito size. I get a jr because it's the perfect size and a reasonable price. So to my disappointment the past few times I have received a kids size instead. Please train the new employees and show/label the sizes of tortillas. Sent my husband to pick up the home wrecker bowl, which is listed on the menu as coming with specific toppings. I got a bowl with nothing but rice, beans, and meat and when I called to ask why it didn't have the toppings LISTED ON THE MENU I was told "you have to ask for those after you order it". What?? Why have options on the menu if the customer has to build their own either way? The food isn't good enough to fight through bad service. read more

Moe's is much better than Chipotle. They have a lot of choices for a bowl which is what I get. They don't charge $2.50 for guacamole like Chipotle and they aren't skimpy. They have a bar with different salsas to choose from for the tortilla chips. I have been several times and I'm never disappointed. You get more for your money and everything is fresh. read more

This moes is just really dead average for a restraint.The service was good enough seats and full soda machine.It has a nice atmosphere just like most moes restaurants do.There was just nothing outstanding and a 5-star is not the standard a 3-star is.One complaint was they gave you your food in a bag which means your chips we in there so you don't have chips to eat over so your food just falls on the table.If you are driving and want Moe's then it's worth it to go here but just nothing outstanding read more

Went there tonight, had one of the worst experiences I've ever had in any food business. My stack was not cooked on one side and tasted horrible. Employees were rude. Wouldn't recommend. Do yourself a favor and go to Qdoba or Chipotle instead. Wish I could give less stars. read more

Over all the food was good, service was good, COVID protocols were to par, however proportions were horrible. For example, they went light on the protein and when I added queso to my burrito (with the extra charge) they put about 1/4 of a scoop on it. I couldn't even taste the queso. So I got ripped off on the queso portion which is quite disappointing. Really hoping the re-opening would shine a new light on Moe's. Next time I'll save some money and not add the non-existant queso. read more

I want so bad for this place to be good, but it's just never very fresh, even during peak dinner times. Also I don't know what kind of training the company gives employees, but it has to change immediately or someone will get sick. Gloves are not magic devices, you have to change them to keep food safe. On two separate visits now I have seen the manager run the register, take money, make food, clean tables, use his cellphone all with the same pair of gloves on! We have been coming here for a while and it's always been great. However, today I was being helped by a manager named Richard who was rude when I asked him to tell me what some of the choices were. Then when he was serving beans for my burrito, he only put 1/4 cup, I asked for more and he stated it would be $2.00 extra. Not sure when they started having rude managers and the food rationing deal but this really spoiled my liking for this place!!! This restaurant is awesome!!! I got a veggie bowl and it was delicious! I ordered online and it was ready as soon as I arrived at the store. It was big, so I definitely recommend it if you are hungry. My order was complicated as I had changed a lot of it, and it had been filled perfectly. I went to this place with high hopes. Unfortunately, the first thing I see is that they use plastic bowls. Seriously? In this day and age? You guys need to adjust. The second thing, they use the cheapest lettuce they could find. When I asked the employee for the Quinoa bowl, she repeated twice, Quimua? Finally Moe's is open and it did not disappoint! Usually we opt out of newly opened restaurants to give them some time to get acclimated but we couldn't wait! The line took forever to get through due to the excitement but also the menu posted on the wall and the pamphlets with menu don't really explain the oddly named menu items so basically everyone asks what's the difference between the 2 option burritos/ quesadillas and so on. Not sure for the reason of naming them different things because once you get up to order you just tell them you want tacos or burritos and build your own- chipotle style. Their queso TRUMPS chipotles I'll say that much. A much better deal as well- you get free chips and the salsa station is free as well. Their unique ingredients such as delicious grilled onions really make your order special and delicious. 10/10 recommend. Oh and they have the cool drink machine so you can get a super customizable drink as well. read more
