My family and I recently ate at Chili's in Harrisonburg, and I honestly can't say enough good things about our experience. First of all, the food was outstanding. They have, without a doubt, the best cheese sticks I've ever had at any restaurant. I also love that they offer several different dipping sauces, so you can find your favorite combination. Whether you like bone-in or boneless wings, they have plenty of sauce choices, and everything we tried was delicious. Their burgers were also cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The atmosphere is relaxed, clean, and welcoming, making it a great place for families, friends, or even a casual date night. Our waitress was exceptional--very attentive, friendly, and genuinely seemed to enjoy taking care of her customers. To top it off, the manager even stopped by our table to say hello and make sure everything was perfect. That kind of customer service is becoming rare these days, and it really made us feel appreciated. They also have a full bar with a live bartender if you're looking to enjoy a drink with your meal. What impressed me just as much as the food and service were the prices. The value you get for the quality of the food and the experience is excellent. Honestly, I don't understand why this place isn't packed every night of the week. If you're looking for great food, friendly people, generous portions, and fair prices, I highly recommend giving Chili's in Harrisonburg a try. If I could give it a zero, I would. We visited this restaurant while visiting Massanutten Resort. The lady, Ashlynn, behind the bar on October 13, 2024 at 8:00pm was rude and we waited over 20 minutes for her to take our order just to say she apologize. We placed our order and they ran our offer chipotle chicken wings and egg rolls. She said I can't help that they ran out of it, loud and rudely. So we ordered on line, i walked over and stood in the take out door way for quite a few minutes with no one acknowledging me, they saw me, multiple times.... Nothing. The waiter was very polite. We asked to move tables and he happily obliged. He was very attentive and helpful. I got bbq ribs, fries, and broccoli. The ribs were tiny, dry, and not a great flavor. I should've known better since it is just a bar. The fries were okay. The broccoli was completely undercooked, it was almost cold. We went there because we had a gift card. The hostess was very nice and accommodated us close to the bathroom as requested. Our server was quick and friendly and checked our table frequently, too frequently. The food was brought out promptly; we ordered salads. The blue cheese dressing was not tasty and had separated and was watery. The ribs and fries were good. The tilapia was a bit too spicy but the rice and avocado tempered that. The worst part was ordering the add on shrimp for 3.99. Don't. It was a small portion of 5 "small" shrimp, served in a dressing cup and not worth the money AT ALL! I was in town for business and typically do not like to do chain restaurants while I travel as I like to experience local eateries; however I was rushed for time and Chili's was in the parking lot. Parking is interesting as you park in the back and walk to the side. I drove around a couple of minutes before I realized this but no worries, I made it in. I was welcomed as soon as I entered and seated promptly. My server was extremely pleasant and allowed me to modify the Quesadilla Explosion Salad; however, when I received it, the explosion was with the dressing. It was so coated with dressing that there was no green. At that point I was rushing to get back to work so I said nothing and ate it. While dressing overwhelmed me it was actually a good salad. This has been a favorite place of mine to go to in the past when choosing to dine out except for this location. It took almost 10 minutes just to have a server just acknowledge our table and place our drink order. After the drink order was placed it still took several minutes to recieve drinks and appetizers even though the restaurant wasn't that busy. Overall the experience was so bad that we unfortunately didn't want to stay to enjoy our entrees and opted to get them to go instead. I frequent this restaurant in Harrisonburg. There are some excellent servers there: Lauren and Julie are two. The food is usually good and if there are any problems the servers will make it right. However, I can't say the same for management. The manager James can be nice but he can also be very rude. When I attempted to use a coupon that corporate sent out he would not let me use it even though I had used the same coupon the previous week at the same Chili's to order the same items. Not only did he not let me use the coupon, but we waited 20 minutes for our server to come back and tell us that we could not use the coupon. This was even though the coupon did not list what he was saying what was excluded. It only listed one exclusion and that was not what we were ordering. We then decided to go elsewhere and James was very rude to us before we left. This is not the way to treat your customers. Especially not a frequent customer. I will not continue to recommend Chili's to my friends and do not recommend that you try to use any of their coupons or else I hope that you don't have any problems during your visit. read more

Chili's can either be hit or miss depending on what restaurant you hit. I've had terrible experiences at some, however this was a great night out with the family. We were seated very quickly, and our waitress took our drink orders immediately. Super psyched to see Sam Adams draft available! We skipped the appetizers, and everyone went with sandwiches, burgers, and wings. We didn't have to wait long before our food arrived, and it looked, smelled, and tasted great. Every plate around the table was cleared by the end of our meal, and it went great with a couple of draft beers. Service was outstanding, and we enjoyed the cool wireless device allowing you to pay at your table.
