We love Moe's! Everyone who works here is so kind, helpful, and welcoming. The restaurant and patio are clean and well maintained. The bathrooms are also very clean and nice! Tonight we brought a bunch of our family (about 15 people) and we were able to all sit together at the tables in the middle. My husband and I both ordered the stack which is close to Taco Bell's crunch wrap, but totally elevated! The ingredients and salsas taste very fresh. We've tried both the steak and chicken and both are seasoned and cooked to perfection. And you get a lot of food! I always take home leftovers when I eat here. I can only eat about half of a stack before I'm STUFFED. My toddler and baby (age 1&3) shared a kids quesadilla meal- for free since kids eat free on Sundays! They especially loved the sweet pineapple salsa and chips. My favorite is the green salsa which is mild with a great garlicy cilantro lime taste. This is definitely a hidden gem in Layton. It's never too busy, and you get your food quickly. The price is very reasonable for the quality and amount of food you get. I've been on a diet (no fast food) and food like this makes it sooo much easier. I'm a 6'4", 260 lb meat and potatoes country boy that was eating too many city burgers. I got the Moe Meat, Moe Cheese Bowl and it tastes delicious. It is a must to try! Other items I've tried are The Stack and Building My Own Burrito. Both of these were really good as well! All of the entrees come with a side of chips. You also have an option to buy their Famous Queen on the side to dip with your chips or eat alongside your meal. I highly suggest doing it because this is what Moe's Southwest Grill is known for! There's also a salsa bar located right after you pay. To order, you walk through the front door, the menu is located on the left hand side of the wall. Then you would order at that location too and kind of walk down the line as they are adding meat, veggies, etc. to your order. Then after that, you'll pay! There's plenty of seating inside and it's super clean here. The workers here are also super nice and welcoming. There is a good amount of free parking in this plaza too. Have been to this restaurant several times and it does not disappoint! Very generous in regards to toppings offered and the free chips and salsa with every order. If you order online though, you only get one choice of red or green salsa. Also want to point out, if you request rice and/or beans in your order you will receive an abundance! So much so that I decided the last time to ditch the beans and the rice was more than plentiful. So probably will skip that next time too as it overpowers all the other ingredients that are offered. I have tried their burritos, nachos, bowl's, and most recently their chili crisp chicken crunchy taco. It came with it's own small side of chips and salsa that I was not expecting. This place reminds me of Chipotle and Freebirds. You know the deal. Go down the line and choose your ingredients. Moe's has a nice selection of burrito toppings. And that is the strength here. Want diced fresh jalapeno, maybe some sauteed mushrooms or how about guacamole? You can have that and more. Oh and salsa and chips come with your entree. Moe's has my heart. I have been wanting to try Moe's for years and years, but I never purposely go more north than Salt Lake City these days, so I haven't been around to try it. Well, one of my friends lived just down the road from Moe's and we decided to both try it for lunch one day. I have slightly mixed feelings about trying Moe's, because here I am, writing their review at my house 60 miles away, wishing I could go back again right now. We walked in and had no idea what we wanted. The menu had so many different options and I felt like I wanted to try one of everything. While we were staring at the menu trying to decide, the workers gave us samples of their chips and queso. Which will now prompt a segue into the service...the service at Moe's? 10/10, 5/5, 78/78...whatever fraction you want to use, I do not care...it was flawless. The staff greeted everyone that came through the door saying, "welcome to Moe's". They were incredibly nice as you chose what you wanted and did not skimp on the toppings of your choosing. It was the best service I have had in a while, honestly. My friend decided on a burrito and I decided on the tacos. I got two chicken tacos and one ground beef taco. They loaded the tacos up with beans, lettuce, cheese, peppers, and onions. I ended up getting their pico and their chipotle ranch on the side because they would not fit on the taco. You get free chips with every order but we did upgrade and get some queso on the side because we loved it so much with the sample we got. After we finished our order, they also had a fun little salsa station off to the side. This was perfect for our chips, over the tacos if you have room, etc.. They had green and red salsas of different variants too--it was great! In addition to the salsa bar, they also had a coke freestyle machine, meaning you could pick out whatever flavor soda you would like. This was an awesome perk as well. When we sat down, we admired their art for like an hour lol. The attention to details in these pictures is like nothing I have seen before...it reminds me of an iSpy book. There is all kinds of hidden foods in the pictures and the creativity is through the roof. I felt like the artwork just really added to the fun, uplifting atmosphere at Moe's. The store was clean and there was plenty of seating when we were in there. I cannot say enough great things about my time at Moe's. The only negative side is that there is not one very close to me--I'd love to see one more south in Utah County or nearby. Everything was awesome and I would love to take a trip back up to Moe's sometime soon. They truly are the best of their kind. read more

The food was delicious, but only 2 out of the 6 of us received the meat we ordered. Both kids meals (the quesadilla pictured) were missing meat and one was also missing rice. My boyfriend and I ordered the stacks, but didn't receive any chicken. The stacks also didn't come with the corn tortillas. This one is so awful, the chicken isn't made like any of the other locations and the quality meat isn't nearly the same. So there is finally one of the world famous Moe's Southwest Grills right here in Layton, Utah. This place is huge back in the eastern states and it's great to have one here! Burritos are smaller than we are used to getting here in Utah with Cafe Rio, Costa Vida, etc. every 100 feet, but still fresh and tasty with all the fillings you could want. They were tasty but we especially loved their white queso and chips! All orders come with free chips and salsa and they have great specials too. Wednesdays, kids eat free and Mondays you get a burrito, chips & salsa and a drink for just $5.55. The manager even came over and chatted with us for like 10 mins. so customer service is at 110%.
