Moe's, in general, has been a reasonable decent place to eat it, over the years. This was first visit to this location. Unfortunately, it ended up being a disappointing experience. I was there from 12:23pm on a Saturday. There was no crowd at all, only 4-5 people dining inside and no lengthy line. I noted right off that there were a few young boys just hanging out in the dining room, just farting around, blowing straw wrappers at each other, etc. But when I got my food, I noted them still present with no adult accompanying them. They were apparently the children of some employee who brought them to work! What an awful thing to do to 10-12-year-old boys. They were quite obnoxious. The food was disappointingly lukewarm. The meat was barely warm and the lettuce was borderline flat and wilted. The service was scattered. One employee was busting her hiney making food, while the two male "workers" mostly stood around, texting, staring off into space, and so on. I had to ask for napkins (empty dispenser) as well as salt (container empty) and I noted a mess under my table of spilled salsa (?) that appeared to have been there quite a while. We used to get Moe's once a week. The flavor is still decent, but they keep taking away things and ingredients that we like that change the whole experience to just settling for something. The staff depends on which one you go to, one being dismissive or eyes-glazed-over while another is happy and helpful. The tables are almost always clean although the salsa bar can get messy, but we stopped going since they keep downgrading their selection. read more

So sad That this location has gone downhill so much in the last year. We moved to Midland a year ago and have spent many trips coming to this Moe's for the carnitas tacos. They were our absolute favorite. Unfortunately, the last few times we've come we have been disappointed because the food is completely soggy when we get home. They now keep the meat in liquid and do not drain it enough when making the tacos. But the trip today unfortunately takes the cake. The ingredients at 5 PM, which should be prime time, we're completely dried out and or empty. Both rice options were crusty hard on top, and the side condiments such as mushrooms and onions were dried out, almost empty and gross. After ordering and then looking at that, we canceled and decided to go across the street to Chick-fil-A. But I wanted the girl to tell her manager while we were leaving so hopefully they could fix the situation. I asked her if she would tell the manager and she said sure, I am the manager. This isn't much different from a Qdoba restaurant. I ordered the burrito and found the rice to be undercooked and crunchy. Chicken has a smokey flavor that the clerk warned us about for some reason. Tasted fine to me. Staff was friendly. Dining area could have used a good cleaning. Probably wouldn't go back a second time as I just prefer authentic Mexican food to this version. read more

This Moe's is new, so it seems nice. I tried the new Chimichuri burrito, which was way too salty. The ingredients were not spread evenly, each bite was a different ingredient. The salsa bar was almost barren, with most salsa bowls empty. Whatever that staff does to prepare the food, they're doing it wrong. Some of the employees were quite unprofessional. Their appearance was sub-standard with dirty hats and unkept clothing (half-tucked shirts, handkerchiefs flailing under hat). I heard two customers before me request more food (rice & beans), I encountered the same problem, as did the customer behind me, like they didn't want to serve in the manner like other stores. On top of that, they seemed to have an attitude, like we're inconveniencing them! All in all, this Moe's provides the bare-minimum service, at-best. On previous visits we had an average experience, however, this time around it was plane bad. this location has serious issues. no one said the "welcome to Moe's" slogan for me nor the other five people that came in behind me. everyone serving had an attitude, with long faces and questioning people's choices in food. when I went to pay, the manager wanted to charge me for two homewreckers although one of my burritos DID NOT have guacamole. the only smiling employee was the cashier. Really bad experience. I understand that you're busy but your customers come first and whenever you're barking orders at your employees in front of the customer, it's bad customer service. When your customer tells you they want an ingredient in their food and you say "are you sure" or "that'll be more expensive" your customer may feel offended. I love moes! I was so excited when one opened so close to my house and I didn't have to go all the way across town for my favorite burrito. Moe's always has fresh ingredients and they do not skimp on the portions. I usually get a Junior burrito and it is more than plenty. The queso has a good kick to it and it's creamy and delicious. They also have a freestyle machine offering dozens of drink options. The prices are a little high but it is very fresh and very delicious. Friendly staff. First time customer ... Went with the chicken club quesadilla... Man-o-man was it loaded. Compared to Mexican grills from the west coast.... Had moes for the first time ever tonight. I ordered a steak burrito with guac and chips. Burrito was good but the chips were a little under fried and stale. I'm sure they had a rush earlier that evening and that's why the chips weren't fully done. I'll be back again in the future. read more

This is the worst Moe's in the area, awful food quality horrible customer service. Twice in less than a week I've receive horrible food. Went in to redeem my $5 off coupon for my birthday and asked Adrian if I could use it on the Billy Barou and he said that its really suppose to be used on burritos but that he would let it go this time (the coupon said nothing about it being used on burritos) so I ordered a billy and then he put the chips in a bowl and I asked for the chips on the side and he said " maybe I should have made you get a burrito" and I replied that it would be soggy by the time I got home. I love Moes in general, and will continue to go to this location as well as others. That being said, the service at this location leaves something to be desired. Recently found out that there is a Moe's closer to my workplace, so I decided to give this one a try. So far, Ive been to this location twice, and both times the service was very poor. I was greeted when I came in, however the employees sounded and acted like they absolutely hated their job. They also kind of skimped on the food a little. When I visit the Whittlesey location I am always given a full scoop of whatever I order, but at this location it was more like half a scoop. Not to mention both times I have been, which were at varying times, they did not have enough tofu. And it takes a good while to cook, so when I had to wait for them to cook it, they rushed and left it underdone. I get that it's probably not super popular, but they could at least start cooking some more once they see it getting low. Also, a lot of their food has bits and pieces of other food in it. I know that that usually happens at a place like this, but both times ive gone I have found bits of shredded cheese and mushrooms in my food, that I have not ordered.
