The food is very, very, very slow. I didn't expect that considering the restaurant was only about half full. Our server never came back. We didn't get any refills, but they're quick to suggest a tip took 27 minutes to get our food. This location has issues. Good luck. Also, weird little bugs were on our booth. I've never been to an IHOP and I gotta say, my first time experience was a hit. We ordered takeout (group of 6). I'm a big flavored pancake girl and wowwwweee the flavors at ihop are so fun. I personally got blueberry but others got NY cheesecake and protein pancakes. All our food was correct but a little mixed around ie wrong egg + meat combo but across the orders all there. It happens and didn't impact the food. Luckily none of us had allergies so it wasn't a big deal. read more

Service was slow even with only 4 other tables of guests. The food was average at best. I found it SUPER annoying watching the servers' relative child running, screaming, crying, and throwing tantrums as I waited for my order to eventually be taken. When I mentioned the disturbance to the server, she responded oh I think those people are getting ready to leave as if I didn't observe their interaction, including here cuddling the child instead of taking my order. read more

This IHOP has become our favorite restaurant! We have been once a week for the past month. The service is always phenomenal and the food is delicious! My kids love the gluten free pancakes. The Cali Turkey Sandwich is my favorite and is what keeps us coming back for more. The waitresses are very attentive and friendly. Even when the restaurant is full, we get our food in record time. The restaurant is clean. I love how the booths have clear shields between them. Highly recommend! read more

Stopped by this ihop after reading reviews on the locations near me and I must say I am not dissatisfied in the slightest bit I placed an order by walking in and before I could sit down everything was ready and brought out to me. This was the fastest service I've ever received at any IHOP by far and received excellent service from the manager. I would recommend this establishment to anyone looking for ihop. read more

Third time at this ihop, last time we saw a roach crawling around so we decide to stop eating. This time we got seated for over 15 mins without being talked to. Super hit or miss on "smell" test when walking into IHOP as they still have carpet in their dining rooms (ugh!). Odor here was under control, ie didnt smell like dirty socks as is case with other IHOP's we've experienced. Running special right now where kids eat free 4-10pm. Thats great! Went with eggs, sirloin tips dish. Fantastic given the price of $9.99. IHOP has always been consistent for me on quality of food relative to economical price. However, I've had to walk out of some due to stank of carpet. I hope they will embrace current trends and stop building locations with carpet that often wreaks due to all the spillage dumped upon it. read more

OMG -- If you have more than two people in your group be prepared for a LONG wait after placing orders. We had one server tonight that apparently put in all the tables as one that she was responsible for while the other waitress put each table in separate. The person who put the one order in then took another couples order, served them, gave them their check before even acknowledging non of our groups had been given their order! This restaurant is in North Columbus, so it's cleaner and located conveniently off the 80/22. Unfortunately, it seems IHOP is downsizing their portions. Their food is physically smaller (less that 5" diameter), the bacon is almost 3" long, and their coffee mugs are approximately 6 oz. Maybe it was just a fluke, but the coffee carafe wasn't filled but halfway. I couldn't refill my mug 3 times before the carafe was empty. I had a breakfast combo, which was tasty but not hot and not presented very well (eggs were plated upsidedown, french toast & pancakes were so cold the butter wasn't melted). My wife got a sandwich, which also seemed to have cooled-down before before being brought out. The service was prompt, even though they were quite busy. The server was courteous and knowledgable of the menu, she was able to answer our questions without asking anyone else. We'd go here more except the portions are so small. Other breakfast restaurants provide more food (just as tasty) for the same price and put effort into presentation, so it's not worth going to IHOP anymore. read more

Exactly what I expected for eating at a breakfast place like this. If you come during breakfast hours, especially during the weekend, it's going to be loud, busy, and crowded. This does not bother me because it's reasonable to expect when dining at IHOP during those times. My waitress was very busy but she was doing the best that she could. She immediately apologized for my wait and took my order. She was polite the whole time and you could tell she was scrambling from table to table to try and make everyone happy. A little patience, understanding, and politeness goes a long way. The restaurant was clean and the food was great at a reasonable price. Best IHOP experience I've had as of recently and quite possibly.. ever. Our food arrived quick and the portion sizing was spot-on! I had not seen a big steak omelette so perfectly executed in a while. Our waitress was a gem. She was super sweet and attentive throughout our whole time dining. She even asked if we wanted to take some cups of water to go. Can't tell if it's just genuine southern hospitality or if my recent IHOP experiences back home in the SF Bay Area have just been that bad lol. This restaurant will not accommodate large parties (10 people) if their 2 tables in the back are full. The entire main dining room was empty except for 2-3 tables and they would not turn three tables sideways and push them together stating it was a fire hazard. We left and went to a nearby Mexican restaurant who happily pushed 3 tables together for us. Guess the fire code doesn't apply there! This has happened twice at the same location! read more

This place is not any good place to eat since management has changed. I ordered the dark chocolate peppermint pancakes and they gave me the regular milk chocolate pancakes arguing that it's the same. I wanted dark chocolate pancakes the way it is advertised, and I asked to get something else because this was not what I wanted and the manager told me "there will be a charge because there was nothing wrong with the pancakes, it's just not what I expected."Who handles customer service this way? She needs some customer service training on handling unsatisfied customers. Bottom line, customer service is horrible, management is horrible, food is not what you expect aka not as advertised. I felt sick just looking at the food and tasting. Please go to another IHOP if you so choose. I should've known better after seeking their low 91 rating. I usually don't go to restaurants with a rating lower than 95, but I have them a chance and never again!
