I had my first cesarean delivery with Dr. Lopez on June 30. I started seeing Dr. Lopez since April. I can first say, that I appreciate the continuance of only allowing patients inside the office and during visits, and enforcing mask wearing, avoiding more people in the office than there has to be and exposure during the global pandemic we are still in, I appreciate that sense of comfort knowing they are taking that extra step to ensure our safety. Dr. López is a straight forward man who doesn't sugar coat anything for you, which I LOVE! Doctor Lopez is amazing! He really explains things well & puts my mind at ease while explaining my options & addressing my concerns which I really appreciate especially because I had a high risk pregnancy during a pandemic. Also, the appointment wait times are rarely more than 15 minutes, they are great with scheduling. Just once I waited over an hour because the hospital policy changed due to covid & I'm sure we all had so many questions based on our individual cases & it's understandable why the wait in his office was longer that ONE time. I would give this office zero stars but I'm not able to. This morning I had an appointment at 9:15am. When people that came later than I got called in, that got me wondering . I got up to ask the receptionist when were they going to take me in( this is after 30 minutes of waiting ). Once inside , the nurse told me that the doctor wasn't in yet and that I should look for a different doctor . When the doctor finally arrived he was very rude and he basically kicked me out. He told me to look for a different doctor . He said that he doesn't like it when people are rude to his employees when I only asked when he was going to see me and here he was being rude to his patients . How does that make sense? I came to dr Lopez at 17 weeks. I was transferring from another ob clinic (care for woman, by the way the worst experience with those drs) I had my records faxed over to dr Lopez's office. At my first appt he had reviewed and was well aware of my history. He addressed every concern and even gave me more of an insight to any questions I had. His office is on the smaller side and out dated, but his approach as a dr makes that not an issue. I'm really happy with my care and look forward to my dr visits. read more

I actually should be calling my lawyer and local news but I'll leave my horrifying experience here to let mothers know that this is not the place to go to if you are pregnant as a mom I went in with my daughter today because this is her first time visiting this doctor upon walking in the office they asked for my daughters name and she told me without anything else that I need to go outside so I complied and said that's fine but I'm going to need to help her fill out the paperwork the lady started screaming at me and telling me is my daughter deaf or retarded in front of a large group of women waiting to be seen by this doctor I then said no not embarrass my child any further and said she just simply has a small disability the woman told me to cancel my appointment and to leave her office what type of staff is this when I'm supposed to trust this doctor on an emergency or with my child every need I can only imagine what it would be if I continue to follow through with the appointment that I had booked today I believe this doctors office is not fit to deal with any human being better yet a pregnant woman who is under a great deal of stress please save yourself the trouble and do not go here Sincerely the woman who yelled at you after yelling at her child this morning!! read more

We love Dr. Lopez and his entire staff! They have become like family to us! I was referred to Dr. Lopez by an employee at Pomona Valley Hospital. I was dealing with irregular women's issues which were causing us to have a difficult time becoming pregnant. Dr. Lopez was able to diagnose my issue and help me get on a healthy path so that we could become pregnant. Not only were we able to have a baby, but we now have three beautiful kids. I always tell people he was our miracle worker. He tells you things straight up and I appreciate that. He is kind and compassionate and is always willing to spend extra time with you if you have questions or concerns. I simply cannot say enough about what he has done for us. I LOVE DR.LOPEZ!! The first time I was pregnant we learned that my egg wasn't developing into a baby. He expressed to me from A-Z that it wasn't anything I had done. It's strictly on hormones. I left the office ok. But I was still scared to try again because of my miscarriage. About 2 months after the miscarriage I was pregnant again. And thank God for Dr.Lopez he helped deliver my beautiful 9lbs 9oz baby boy! He did a absolutely AMAZING job in my csection scar it's like you can't even tell.! Dr. Lopez and his Team are great! All of them are very nice and friendly. They make me feel very comfortable. The waiting period is between 10-30 minutes, which is really good :) Dr Lopez always took enough time for us and answered all my question understandable. I came to this doctor by recommendation from a family friend due to the fact that my current OB hasn't been very informative or attentive during my pregnancy (first) and was very excited to find someone new. When I arrived I filled out paperwork and was taken back to get my weight/ blood pressure/ etc. At that moment I mentioned to one of the ladies that I was there because I was looking to be with a doctor who I could be permanent with for delivery, who I could be more comfortable with. She mentioned she would have to talk to the doctor about it because "she didn't think he would like that" before we continued with anything. I waited in the room for almost 30 minutes and finally she comes back with the doctor who (first off didn't even come inside the room but just addressed me from the hallway) very bluntly and rudely tells me "I need to look for someone new because he doesn't do meet and greets and has too many patients to see to waste his time." I was extremely shocked that he basically kicked me out of his office and didn't even give me a chance to explain myself or my situation. I'm a first time mom who simply wants to be more informed and feel comfortable with the person who will be helping deliver my son. Obviously he doesn't care about having a relationship with his patients and cares more about getting people in and out to get paid more. I'm extremely disappointed in the way they handled the situation and would not recommend if you want a more attentive physician. read more

I'm very pleased to submit a review for this office specially as a patient who was present during the incident from two reviews bellow. Everyone is extremely professional and helpful. Unfortunately the office does operate on Covid safety measures which are posted at their door and inside the establishment. All patients are not allowed to bring another party INSIDE the office. Many of us are also young and first time moms who cannot have our partners with us but abide by their measures because we all want to be as safe as possible. Sadly there is always "Karen's" as they're called today that like to not follow guidelines and be extremely disrespectful to staff... who actually did ask if she was dead or had any impediment/reasonable need for accommodation not as an insult but a real question to find out why the patient who was not a minor but an adult could not follow through their guidelines. As women who want to enjoy their pregnancy in a safe and joyful environment the parent screaming yelling and creating a scene was by far the most uncomfortable situation for any of the parties there that day. I truly apréciate doctor López office and their endless apologies for this incident which in no way were they responsible for the lack of education and understanding nor respect for other patients from that party. read more
