From the start, they took the time to walk through our home and clearly ask about everything we wanted to move so they could mentally map out how to load the truck efficiently. They were extremely diligent with protection, using blankets and/or shrink wrap on all furniture and electronics, and they were very by the book when it came to reviewing the contract and confirming details. I especially appreciated that they checked all electronics before and after the move and even had me climb into the truck at the end to verify that nothing had been left behind. The move‑in was just as smooth. We had labeled certain items to go to one level and others to another, and they followed those directions perfectly, with everything ending up exactly where it was supposed to, with no damage and no confusion. Their organization and care were obvious in every box/container they carried and every piece of furniture they placed. Several pieces of furniture were damaged, and the final price was $5k higher than the estimate. They lock you in having you sign a contract which was based on their quote, then when the team arrives short handed saying they need another truck and more movers. Conveniently, no manager will answer the phone so you are on the hook and they have your stuff. Now you are held hostage and they won't deliver until you pay a higher amount even though they quoted you a service to move everything for a certain price by a certain time. They do not care about your belongings. Do not use them.

They were hyper efficient and it's clear they care. Our move was not easy... We moved out of an apartment (2 bedrooms, 1 study, 2 bathrooms) on the 3rd floor into a 3 story condo (3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms all on the 2nd or 3rd floor (meaning 2 flights of stairs). From the apartment, they carefully took the bed frames and other furniture apart, and then wrapped all the furniture with blankets and plastic wrap. Once they loaded everything into the moving truck and arrived at the new place, which they did super fast considering there was only 1 elevator to work with and they were super fast at unloading into the new place. Once at the new place, they took everything up the stairs and reassembled all the furniture with the same care and concern. I was amazed at how quickly, but also how carefully they handled the entire move. They apologized (even though they absolutely did not need to) that they needed to take an extremely quick lunch break (maybe 20 minutes, but an hour would've been well deserved). Although I don't plan to move for awhile, I will absolutely recommend this company to anyone else who may move in the future. Proper movers is THE best!

After loading the couches, they demanded an additional $100 that had never been disclosed or authorized. The situation felt coercive and inappropriate. In addition to the payment dispute, the movers caused multiple damages: * One of the couches was damaged. * The garage door was damaged. * A component of the security system on the back door was broken. Furthermore, one of the workers raised his voice and yelled at my wife and daughter. This behavior is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. When I contacted the company to request information regarding their insurance coverage for the damages, they refused to provide any details.
