Ilbert and his team did a great job of helping us move out of a 4 floor townhouse in Del Ray down to a SFH in Torrance. You could tell that they were all professionals and not just "muscle" by the way they moved all of our furniture and effeciently packed the truck right to the brim. I even bought them lunch (as you all should) and they were grateful for it - but honestly, I was super happy with their pace and care. Highly recommended! read more

Well, I'm back with a second review. I had to do a two-staged move from Los Angeles to Santa Barbara while dealing with a move from storage in Ventura. I let Karina know how great of an experience we had with Roman, Idei, and Adrian (Andrew), and we got Roman and Idei again and this time with Bex (sp?). As with our experience just a few days prior, they were punctual, professional, and very kind. Of course, no one thinks that one's move in SoCal is going to be riddled with rain, but we got rain on BOTH days. But we managed through with some luck at the locations but the guys never issued a complaint and smiled through it all. I seriously cannot recommend SOS Moving enough. The crew and office staff are just top notch! And, the pricing is super competitive and worth every penny. I compared five different movers and now after using SOS twice, we chose wisely. Their estimate was reasonable and most important, accurate! No hidden fees or gotchas - just how it should be. Again, 5 out of 5 - hands down. read more

SOS came to the rescue! Karina help us so much we were having such a bad morning , another moving company had just cancelled on us and I was going to break down from the overwhelming stress . But karina gave me the push of strength I needed that morning by going through everything thoroughly and being patient with me and explaining every detail, And for that I am beyond grateful. What are the chances that 3.5 years later, I'd have the same movers!! We were happy to have Buchu and Sandro again! Dash and Aslan came this time around and were great too! We chose SOS again because why choose another company when they were great the first time?! Also, we got a returning customer discount! This time around, we are downsizing, but moving only 11 miles away. Because we had more furniture, it still took 6 hours, but they were still super efficient! They were able to move up my patio furniture to our 2nd floor balcony from outside! We still have 2 weeks left of moving to do and we're considering on hiring them again! When I was looking for movers, there were many options and mixed reviews. I chose SOS Moving because they had great reviews and people seemed happy with their service. On my moving day, their truck broke down on the way to my place. Yerdos, Aslo, and Artem were able to get it working and also arranged for a new truck to be sent over to move us out and into our new place. They were efficient and packed the truck well. My name is Henry Zack, I am the founder of SOS moving. After graduating from University of North Carolina and relocating to Los Angeles in 2008, I found myself involved in the moving industry. I discovered a surprising lack of ethics and class that was prevalent in the moving community and wanted to make a positive impact. So, in 2010 with one truck and one man, SOS moving was born. One company estimated one-and-a-half 27-foot trucks, while Royal and another company estimated one 27-foot truck. My move-out apartment was 895 sq ft with a large patio. Before moving day, I made two 10-foot Home Depot truck trips myself with the delicate and bulky items: my electric bike, Peloton, and other things that don't stack well. Royal filled a 27-foot truck with everything else, efficiently using all the available space. We did go a little over the estimate because of rush-hour traffic. The only part I didn't enjoy was the payment app prompting for a tip at checkout. After a long moving day, that was one unnecessary stress point because I never know what's considered an appropriate tip for professional movers. Fortunately, I had already planned ahead with cash tips and cold Gatorades for the crew throughout the day. I highly recommend Royal Movers. They made a difficult move much easier. I also gained a whole new respect for my son, his friend, and my old girlfriend, who helped me move the last time. And ChatGPT-5.5, who helped me figure out which movers to get an estimate from, the tip beforehand, and helped edit this review

I had a great experience from the moment I called. Stephanie was excellent at explaining what the…read moreprocess was, and telling me about all the extra perks I could add to keep my car safe. I planned on keeping the car in storage for 2 months, and they were flexible with me on arranging when to drop it off. I ended up having to drop the car off 3 weeks earlier than expected and it was not a problem. When I dropped off the car, Alex and Alan were super assertive in explaining how the car would be stored. I also ended up picking up the car earlier than expected and they had my car ready within the hour and I got to keep the car cover and battery tender I bought for next time. I also liked the fact that Stephanie kept my contract open in the event I needed to bring the car back, she was so accommodating. I will ABSOLUTELY be using this service again !!!
