So I had quite a challenging move as I had to get all of my furniture, including bed frames, drawers, cabinets, and an extremely oversized couch out of my two-story condo. My biggest concern was my oversized couch because it would not fit through the narrow hallway stairs, and I knew it had to be thrown over a balcony. Proper Moving came through strong, they thoughtfully wrapped and secured all furniture to avoid any breakages. And were successfully able to maneuver my couch into separate pieces and get it out through the balcony on the second floor. I have to give a shout out to Ismiah as he was kind of managing or taking the lead on the whole move with his team. I hired three movers for the first night and two Movers for a second afternoon. Proper Moving is the most competitively well priced moving service in Orange County. Their response time was very prompt and they were very professional. oh, they even moved all three of my TVs, including a large 80 inch without breaking any of the TVs. They made sure to check before mounting and after relocating the TVs to make sure they all still work. Note: they just do not remount the TVs for you at the new place. Cash payment is required to avoid card fees. If you are hiring professional movers, please be sure to keep them stocked with beverages and don't forget to tip them for their hard physical labor. I feel like $50 tip per Mover should be standard! Couldn't have done this without Proper Moving, so thank you for decreasing my anxiety and stress. I will definitely be referring this company! Used these movers and they did a really good job in packing and moving furniture -- it was really unfortunate that the move date was on a rainy day, but they were really good sports about it and even offered to move furniture around after all the furniture was brought in. They were pretty respectful in taking off the shoes inside the house (or used their carpets to step on those only) and were sure not to get the floors dirty as much as they could. And when they forgot to bring my painting, they responded immediately and asked a time convenient for me to drop it off (instead of them offering a time convenient for them) Definitely recommend. read more

BEST MOVERS! Ishmael, Auggi, Vasil, Arnur... (see photo) These guys are THE absolute best! They were great about communicating before the move. They were on time. They were hyper efficient and it's clear they care. Our move was not easy... We moved out of an apartment (2 bedrooms, 1 study, 2 bathrooms) on the 3rd floor into a 3 story condo (3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms all on the 2nd or 3rd floor (meaning 2 flights of stairs). From the apartment, they carefully took the bed frames and other furniture apart, and then wrapped all the furniture with blankets and plastic wrap. Once they loaded everything into the moving truck and arrived at the new place, which they did super fast considering there was only 1 elevator to work with and they were super fast at unloading into the new place. Once at the new place, they took everything up the stairs and reassembled all the furniture with the same care and concern. I was amazed at how quickly, but also how carefully they handled the entire move. They apologized (even though they absolutely did not need to) that they needed to take an extremely quick lunch break (maybe 20 minutes, but an hour would've been well deserved). Although I don't plan to move for awhile, I will absolutely recommend this company to anyone else who may move in the future. Proper movers is THE best! read more

Ishmael and Sean (Shawn) helped out tremendously in my move. I moved from a 3rd floor no elevator and they were sweating hard as it is 94f today. We used so many wardrobe boxes and that was clutch! What I also liked was the value of front pricing and no extra charges. They took the time to wrap up the furniture, clean up any plastics and tape after unloading and they really felt like family in a way as we shared stories about our own family and kids. My wife got lunch for them and we made sure they were hydrated. Seeing how hard they worked, I wanted to make sure they were taken care of from my end as well (tipped them generously) because they have families to provide for. Our first time hiring professional help for a move, and Proper Moving was a great choice. Ishmael and his team were extremely efficient, communicative and made our rainy day move way less stressful. I hired Proper Moving, which I found out is abbreviated from PROfessional and PERfect movers, and they definitely stand up to their company name. I had Ismael's team's help for two consecutive days and both went great. They are really meticulous with taking care of our packages with wraps and protection. None of our items were damaged at the arrival. Anything that wasn't properly packaged on our end was packaged nicely by their equipment. On the second day when they had the pick up address flipped for some reason (30min of drive wasted), they just corrected themselves and had a great attitude about it. Super nice people, even took care of disassembling a fridge that didn't fit through the doors. I wish I could've served them with more than water and sparkling water for their great effort in the hot weather. I haven't used other companies but I think the price is super fair. 3 items with long distance cost the same as 100x the volume with shorter distance. So I think it is well worth it if it's a big job. Thank you again. They have definitely set a high standard for my first ever major moving experience. read more

Moving Day - 11 Nov 2024 Ismail and team surprisingly arrived within 10 minutes of the 2-hour arrival window. Following cordial introductions, Ismail and I walked the property to identify the items for the move including ones that require disassembly. We also discussed the destination of these items at the new residence. Other than occasional rehydration, the Proper Moving team tirelessly and continuosly worked until a brief, well-deserved 30-minute lunch break.
