Mojave is one of our favorite spots! Tucked into the corner of a small shopping plaza in White Lake, you'll find delicious Mexican food, friendly service, and a cool, relaxing atmosphere. My husband and I have been dining here since they opened and we keep coming back. The manager, Markos, is always there, and always stops by to say hi! We love him! Bartenders and waitstaff are kind and on point every time-- accurate with orders, make sure we have everything we need, and seem like the nicest coolest people! Anything you need, they're ON IT! One of the best things on the menu is the Southwest Egg Rolls. They are too good to be true! My go-to entrees are the Tacos Mexicanos w/ BBQ pork and the Southwest BBQ Chicken Salad (Order it, you won't be sorry!!) Hubby mixes it up nearly every time, but favors the fajitas, enchiladas, and street tacos. We have never ordered anything we didn't love! I get the "Skinny Chica" Margarita every time we're there, and upgrade it to a Jumbo (because why not?!) There is an extensive list of margaritas and tequilas, plus beer and other cocktails. I highly recommend Mojave Cantina in White Lake! If you find yourself nearby, stop in! On our last visit, we overheard some guys across the bar saying they've tried the Clawson location, but White Lake is "so much better."

Mediocre AF. The food was ok and the waitress definitely didn't want to be at work today. To sum it up, this place is a fart in the wind and there are to many good Mexican restaurants in the area to come back.

How many days has this black bean Side of Black Bean Corn Salad been in their refrigerator??? Ewe

Terrible service- use to be a great place to go but it's currently Saturday night and the place is empty... must speak for something... food tastes old like it's been sitting around or refrigerated and reheated. Such a bummer- Anyone got any good Mexican food recommendations in the area??!

Ordered delivery. The food was amazing, the flavors of the ground beef chimichangas were delicious. The shells were still mostly crispy, which is great for being fried and delivery.

I would give this place about 3.5 stars while my husband would rate it around 3. We have our favorite places, but this restaurant was closer and we have driven past it several times and were curious how it tasted. I had read there was a following for their Clawson location which we have never visited either, but is usually a good sign. The place was fairly busy, and seemed to have accrued their own following. The chips and salsa tasted okay. The chips could have used some salt and due to the pandemic, they did not have any shakers on the table. The salsa was spicy in a good way, not overpowering the right amount of cilantro. I has their basic margarita. It was good, very strong (I'm a lightweight) and a great price! We both had a combo plate. The portions are not as big as where we usual frequent. But I did like the flavor. It also tasted great the next day since I am the leftover queen! To me, that is the telling sign, does it hold the flavor and/ or get better the next day. And...it did. I liked their crunchy taco, it tasted homemade instead of food service boxed shell. The chimichanga was pretty small, but tasty. I loved the cheese enchilada. It had amazing cheese pull! I liked their tomato based red sauce, very interesting. The prices were pretty good and the drink prices were amazing! I would come back just for their drinks and I will have to since I am not really good for more than one marg at a time. I am not sure if they currently have happy hour, but I saw they had brunch with mimosas, and mimosas are my absolute favorite. I would also like to try their desserts. As long as they keep the White Lake prices, I will be back.

The food mediocre. The atmosphere was nice and so are the staff. Prices are fairly reasonable.

Pretty cool little place. Plenty of space, tables and booths with a really nice Christmas tree in the middle and a nice bar. Will say, if it's cold or hot out, refrain from a window seat at the front of the building. Quite drafty and uncomfortable for those that don't handle cold or probably hot well. Stopped in for lunch on a whim after reading about their drink and food flights. Legit. Food flights. Like three types of dip or three types of wings, etc. oh and everything is pretty much gluten free due to the owner having celiac; a dominating trait but there's still something to pick for everyone. They have an eclectic beer selection, one that really needs an overhaul. Too many imperials and IPAs that probably don't sell. Who wants a 10.4 percent barrel aged beer that tastes like liquid smoke? Pass. However they have the bottle/ can options well covered with domestics. We tried the burger which was pretty decent. Nothing to note here. Also tried the triple dip and chips. Queso was lukewarm at best and no real flavor. Salsa very tomato based but clean. Quac had pineapple and bacon- lots of garlic though. Be mindful. The wings are fried in cornstarch FYI due to the owners condition. I got them naked with sauces on the side. You can ignore the Thai sauce; tasted nothing more than peanut butter. The heat sauce is eh, nothing to note. Also tried the sassy sauce (zip sauce) and a bbq. The bbq was best but again not overly impressive wings. French fries taste clean though since there's no awful fatty grease to contend with. Also tried the mule flight which was solid and the beet salad was pretty good too. Overall, food was like a high C/ B range in terms of grade. Servers were very nice and got anything we needed. Very well staffed and organized. Overall, decent place. Will try it again and see what else they have to offer. Brunch looks like a good option on Saturday and Sunday as they also have coffee flights, beer flights, mimosa flights... pretty much flights for wherever your tummy takes you!

The bbq chicken and ground beef loaded fries were large and appeared appetizing. However, they were very salty - so could only eat a portion of each. The accompanying fries were equally tasty and very well made with a very nice crunchy texture. At $10 for a1/2 lb burger and fries, especially ones made this well, This is a great deal by any standard! I also got two cocktails, an old-fashioned and a margarita. The old-fashioned was just OK in my opinion and needed a tad more sweetness based on how I like my drink. The margarita on the other hand was very good with the base being Hornito's Blanco. Nice! Price was quite fair at $10 a cocktail, but not as great of a deal as the hamburger and fries were. Relative to the business itself and the staff, the business is a no-frills blue-collar type bar/restaurant where it would appear to have a loyal clientle. It appears to be a mix between an Irish bar and a sports bar as there are a lot of TVs scattered about to watch the big game. Staff was quite friendly where the waitresses knew a lot of the customers by name. Again very nice! If you are looking for a good burger bar with inexpensive prices, then look no further than this joint. This may have been my first trip here, but it definitely will not be my last!

It's def a locals joint and you get the dailies in that go by their first name with the staff and probably sit in the same seat everyday. The covered patio looks newer, but not sure if it's insulated. I stopped in on my way somewhere else, had time to kill. Decided to have lunch and bellied- up to the bar. Limited staff on a Tuesday afternoon; and I mean 1 person behind the bar and serving tables. At least she was on top of it a bit, if not a bit careless and rough around the edges. They have almost 30 beers on tap, which is nice but could use a better mix and better beers. A lot of "no clue" beers on their system, which means unpopular flavors and brands for some of them. At least they had Yuengling on tap. Also, you gotta scan a QR code for menus, specials and drinks. But WiFi doesn't work so use your own data to make that populate on your phone. I did manage to get a specials menu though. Food is eh... wouldn't put it up there on even the best bar food options. Chicken tenders were decent but their sauces were atrocious! Got charged extra for more sauces to try but good Lord they were terrible. A Caribbean sauce is orange? Naw man. That was so terrible I spit it out. Even if it wasn't, whatever it was, was straight trash sauce. Gross. Overall I'd probably revisit if I was merely having some beverages but wouldn't call this a grill or say it's worth stopping for food. Better options are out there.
