My experience with Daniel Meredith Plumbing was frustrating from start to finish. What started as a…read moresimple toilet repair turned into a nightmare of delays, excuses, and high costs. They were hired to replace just two basic parts in my toilet tank (a flapper and another component). This straightforward job stretched from December 3rd to December 17th - over two weeks! There were constant setbacks: one day their truck was in for service, another day a family emergency, and on one visit they showed up with the wrong flapper and had to run to Home Depot. When they finally completed it, they arrived without their serviced truck. They charged $300 for this minor repair, which seemed excessively high given the errors and time wasted. They also quoted $2,650 to replace a kitchen drain pipe - an outrageously inflated price in my opinion. To top it off, they were scheduled for additional work last Friday but no-called, no-showed with no communication whatsoever. The real kicker: They advertise as "fully licensed," but their California Contractors State License Board (CSLB) license #1054546 expired on May 31, 2025. As of now (late 2025), it appears inactive/expired, meaning they shouldn't legally be performing contracted plumbing work over $500.Overall, the unreliability, poor communication, sky-high pricing, and questionable licensing status make this company one to avoid. I regret hiring them and won't be returning. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere. I went with Zeb's plumbing(Licensed) instead and they repaired my electric tankless water heater just by cleaning it and installed a king water softener system for me! Had a handyman convert the drain pipe to run outside like the dishwasher for 600$

Excellent service. Nathan is great -- very good at communicating issues and complications -- there…read morewere never any surprises. I also appreciated that he tried to get us a less expensive but effective option until it became impossible when we discovered we had a sinkhole forming -- in this case, the city was right -- we needed to replace things to meet city codes (and for our own safety!). The solution to my septic plumbing ordeal began when I called Cisneros Bros. in the middle of the night meaning to leave a message, but surprisingly, after several calls (accidentally called several times in my stress) an actual person answered the phone. Nicole (who answered) must have guessed it was urgent even if after hours. The next day, I met Nathan Knapp who walked me through every single step the crew would take. (Thank you crew!). I was helping my parents with this -- their septic tank broke into a foul river of waste in their front yard. Neighbors called the city for help, we were cited to fix things immediately, and almost $18,000 later it has been fixed. I could not pay ANY company this amount without understanding what in fact they were fixing, how, and the different options. Apparently for many decades, we were not meeting city codes (we didn't know until this septic tank disaster). The cheaper options to "fix" the septic mess weren't really an option because the city citation did not allow the cheaper fixes, but also because we truly needed a major fix. Nathan and the crew (Jeff, Victor and Rogelio) were super hardworking at pumping out the tank and Victor luckily spoke Spanish who could better explain things to my dad. It's hard to pay a bill like this, but I recognize the value of it -- it was necessary, and I really don't think it would have been cheaper or done better by others. We passed the city codes with flying colors and we don't have to worry about a sinkhole or wastewater mess. So glad to have have a brand new seepage pit, new outlet lines etc.!

With permits I can replace 2 for you with new shut off valves and lines with permits for $11,000. Elite Septic delivered an exceptional experience. Their customer service was outstanding, and they…read moreshowed up exactly when they said they would. The team was professional, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced, which immediately gave me confidence in their work. They didn't just complete the job, they took the time to educate me about my septic system, explain what they were doing, and offer practical advice to help prevent future problems. They were able to fully clean out both my septic tank and leach lines, and the difference was noticeable right away. It's rare to find a company that combines expertise, honesty, and great communication, but Elite Septic does exactly that. I will absolutely use them again in the future and highly recommend them to friends, family, and neighbors.

I called Elite Septic a few weeks ago for septic pumping and talked with the owners wife. She's…read morevery pleasant and friendly, and booked an appointment for us with Ernesto and Ernesto Junior. They showed up on time with their pumping truck a few days later. I wasn't having any septic issues, and I just called for a simple clean out which I do every five years. For many years I didn't know that there were supposed to be two chamber covers and that both chambers needed to be pumped out until Ernesto arrived. All these years later, the other company that previously pumped the septic system had never asked about a second cover for access to chamber two. The other company simply pumped out the first chamber that has a steel man hole cover on it and it was easy access for him. I was clueless to where the other access on the septic tank would be. Once Ernesto showed up he explained how important it was to pump out both chambers and began to look for the second chamber access. It turns out that our one chamber has a riser that brings the man hole access cover up about three feet from the concrete septic tank so as to be level with the driveway. Ernesto attempted to dig just below the surface of the driveway and couldn't find the second chamber access, so he came to the conclusion that the concrete septic tank didn't have a riser installed on the second chamber when it was originally installed, so he was only able to pump out the one chamber that day. So basically, the second chamber had never been pumped out in the two decades since the concrete septic tank was installed. We agreed to have him come the following day in order to dig up the dirt driveway to find the second chamber three feet down, install a riser and a new cover so that the second chamber could be pumped that day, and make it easier five years from now when it will need to be pumped out again. He wanted to come back the following day which happened to be a Sunday and finish the job with the help of Ernesto, Jr., and another gentleman that dug with a jackhammer. The second riser and lid cover now have easy access to pump it out again in five years. Thankfully, we never had any septic issues before, and everything looked pretty good when Ernesto pumped out both chambers. We're very happy that Ernesto educated us on our septic system!! We would Recommend Elite Septic for your septic tank needs. Thank you, Rob
