Our driver Donald was very friendly, and he drove the bus so smoothly, stayed alert, and is definitely a professional. (I know good drivers, I'm in logistics) I felt safe the whole way. Our tour guide Curty, was polite, informative and made sure everything ran smoothly. It could just be me, but his voice reminds me of Raymond Redington (I've recently been watching Blacklist a lot) which is another added bonus. Anyways, he gave the right amount of commentary and spoke clearly. Stops were well space for stretching, snacks and restrooms. There was also a stop at Seligman where the inspiration for Disney Pixar Cars came about. The Grand Canyon itself is breathtaking. We skipped the guided portion and walked the rim trail from Mather Point to Bright Angel, but if you're someone who tends to lose track of time, gets easily distracted, gets lost, or struggles with planning, you're probably better off going with the the guided tour. Don't get too close to the edge!

I emailed them a little after the 15 business days. They responded that with the slowdown in tourism, they were behind on refunds. I contacted them a month later and received a similar response. I contacted them in June, but they still couldn't give me a refund date. It should not take four months to receive a refund. We were so excited for this tour and were so bummed they canceled. They canceled so late in the game that we didn't have time to book another tour.

It was very numbers oriented about the price each hotel cost to be build or the history of the hotel with no current info. It does take you all the way to the Strat and Fremont street. But LV also has a transit bus that runs more frequently and is cheaper, just FYI. I downloaded the app but the bus times were still off. Busses come once every 40 min or so so if you miss it you have a while to wait. First stop is in an alley behind the MGM Grand so it took us a bit to find it. More space up top, but if it rains (like it did with us!) or is super cold, the bottom gets pretty crowded. Still a good way to see the sites. Night bus tour is separate and doesn't make stops.

He was friendly, patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about making sure we had a great experience. He didn't just take us through the canyon -- he took the time to explain the history and geology, point out interesting details, and make sure we understood what we were seeing. What impressed us most was how attentive Jon was throughout the entire tour. He knew exactly where to stop for the best views and photos and even helped us get some amazing pictures. He made us feel comfortable and never rushed us. You can tell Jon really enjoys what he does. His enthusiasm and personality made the tour feel less like a standard excursion and more like we were exploring Antelope Canyon with someone who truly wanted us to have a memorable experience. Antelope Canyon itself was breathtaking, but having Jon as our guide made the experience even better. If you book with Max Tour, I highly recommend asking for Jon. He was one of the best tour guides we've ever had. Thank you, Joh, for making our Antelope Canyon visit such a memorable experience! We would absolutely recommend Max Tour to anyone visiting the area.

It is the Inspirada Overlook (also called The Overlook at Inspirada).      One of the things I enjoy doing is touring Google Maps looking for new places. This is how I learned about the Inspirada Overlook. This morning it progressed from a virtual tour to real life when I parked at Anthem Highlands Shopping Center then partook in a walk through Inspirada that included the Inspirada Overlook.    This is a very small park that features a 2.5 desert garden with a gazebo structure. The diminutive walking paths lead to the gazebo structure and open grass space where the overlook is. Although the park is around five years old there was a plentitude of mature trees. Throughout the very short walkways to the overlook are plaques that mention interesting facts such as the exact lines of longitude it stands on, when Henderson was born, and other cool stuff. Above me on the trees, I heard the songs of birds. What I didn't hear was the song of dogs. This is a dog friendly park with a dog waste station.    I spent the most time at the open grass space overlook. This is an awesome spot to take in spectacular views of both Las Vegas and south Henderson. I will explain the view going in a clockwise starting from 12 o' clock at the north. At 12 o' clock (north) it looks down at a grand view of the Las Vegas Strip. From 1 o' clock to 3 o' clock  (northeast) it overlooks the northern neighborhoods of Anthem with the distant Sheep Mountain Range. From 3 o' clock to 5 o' clock (east) the view features Inspirada and the Anthem Highlands with Black Mountain and the surrounding mountains. From 6 o' clock to 7 o' clock (south) it takes in the mountains of the Sloan Canyon National Conservation Area. From 8 o' clock to 12 o' clock (west) in place of an overlook there are new homes going up. When I spent time here around eight in the morning, it wasn't the best time to visit. I believe that the best times to visit would be during sunrise or sundown when the sun puts on a majestic show over the Las Vegas Strip and mountains.     Although I arrived here by walking, there is a moderate size paved parking lot to the south. The fact that there is a parking lot leads me to the impression that this is more than a park for strictly Inspirada residents. There is the possibility that maybe one day in the future the City of Henderson will take over the deeds of the park from Inspirada and expand the amenities. There are currently zero benches or picnic tables.    The centerpiece gazebo structure with the Inspirada name on it is both a community landmark and marketing tool that Inspirada uses to sell new homes. When taking these two things into consideration, it seems evident that Inspirada will leave the open space overlooking the Las Vegas Strip undeveloped.    In the future I plan to return here. Preferably it would be during sunrise or sundown when the sun puts on a mesmerizing show over the Las Vegas Strip and mountains.
