Each time, we made the reservation at the lobby of the Old Town Main Street Station Hotel and were very satisfied because we got on and off the bus at the same place. This time, the driver pick up tourists at five spots. We are the first stop near the Main Street Station Hotel, and there are six of us. But on the way back, the tour guide named Eric said that because he was tired, he would only drop us off at three stops. He also asked us to download a taxi app and take a taxi back to the hotel. After he finished speaking and sat back down, I went to talk to him and asked if he could drop us off near the Old Town hotel. But he refused. I told him that in all the previous day tours I had taken, the pick-up and drop-off places were the same. He then asked me if the previous tours I had taken were with this company ?and he would only drop us off at three stops this time. I really couldn't remember if the previous tours I had taken were with this company because I was always satisfied and had never experienced this situation before, so I didn't pay much attention to the company name. However, I will remember this Gray Line company from now on because this tour guide left a very bad impression on me. Before he drop us off , he also asked each tourist to give him a $20 tip. Later, we got off at Treasure Island, which is the closest stop to Old Town. We didn't give him a tip because his service was not satisfactory and we had to spend money and time taking a taxi back to the hotel. If I go on a day tour again in the future, I won't choose Gray Line, and I won't recommend it to others either.

We enjoyed the beautiful weather in Santa Monica with a light breeze from the Pacific Ocean. The Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills and Hollywood Blvd. sites were also beautiful. If you're willing to spend a lot of time traveling on the road, realize that this is just a small taste and a quick five hour run through of some of California's most popular spots(at least in LA.), then the tour is most definitely worth the time and money, but if you are looking for a more personalized and extended experience, you need to book an actual vacation to LA. The tour starts with a pick up at your hotel, at around 6:00am. and it takes around four and a half hours to get to your first stop on the tour. On the way you get to see "Death Valley", the world's largest thermometer and a throw back in time town of Baker CA. You also get two rest area stops for snacks and to freshen up. The first stop was at WB. studios and for a provided lunch(which may cost you extra depending on what you get), which I didn't care for much. This was kind of a waste and would have loved the extra hour at Santa Monica beach/pier! You get the scenic drive to an observation deck for the infamous "Hollywood" sign and a view of the heart of LA. Only a 15 min. stop. An hour stop at the Hollywood walk of fame, Chinese and Dolby theaters and then it's a drive through Hollywood and Sunset Blvd., Beverly Hills, as well as Rodeo Dr. You also get to see the hotel in which The Eagles song, "Hotel California" was written about. Your last stop was an hour long at Santa Monica Pier, which was too short, but I loved it. Gorgeous day! Skip the fist stop and lunch for more time here, PLEASE!!!! Then it was the ride home which was terrible, due to the Thanksgiving Eve. traffic. Not the tour company's or the drivers fault, who remained calm and did not get frustrated. 7.5 hours back. Also, the people who traveled with me were great. Usually there is always one who constantly complains or is late getting back, but not so in this case. Very nice people to travel with. For $200.00 dollars to visit California for the first time and spend the day sightseeing? Yes, it was worth it, even the hard ride home! I thought the guide/driver was great. Provided movies on the shuttle and had plenty of water. The swerving you may have noticed, people, was him making extra room for the motor cycles, that have a special lane in between cars on the Highways!

Our Valley of Fire tour with Pink Jeep exceeded every expectation, and our guide, John Ferdinand,…read morewas exceptional from start to finish. From the moment we set off, it was clear that this was far more than a standard sightseeing tour--it was a thoughtfully curated experience that truly fulfilled our minds as much as it delighted our senses. John shared in-depth knowledge about the Valley of Fire's ancient rock formations, many dating back tens of thousands of years, explaining how tectonic movement, erosion, and time shaped the dramatic landscape and its vivid red, orange, and white hues. He also provided meaningful insight into the Native peoples of the region, including how petroglyphs etched into the rocks were used as a form of communication, storytelling, and cultural preservation. In addition to his expertise on the land itself, John was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Las Vegas, seamlessly connecting the Valley of Fire to the city's past--from its early days and regional development to how this ancient landscape influenced the growth of the modern Las Vegas we know today. This broader historical perspective added incredible depth and made the experience feel both educational and enriching. The tour was luxury-leaning and impeccably organized, with a comfortable vehicle, a relaxed pace, and ample time for photos and thoughtful discussion. John's passion, attentiveness, and ability to answer questions in detail made the experience feel personal rather than scripted. If you are looking for a tour that combines breathtaking scenery, cultural significance, and intellectual enrichment, Pink Jeep delivers on every level. John Ferdinand is a truly outstanding guide, and this tour is a must for anyone visiting Las Vegas who wants an experience that is both memorable and mentally fulfilling. Thank YOU John && THANK YOU Pink Jeep for one of the best experiences us locals have had!! Can't wait to book the Grand Canyon, Zion, and the Hoover Dam tours!!!!

There is a part that they say less than 1% of people who visit red rock go through, and that is the rocket off road part. Your tour guide asks if you want to go fast or slow and we chose fast lol! It was scary and fun at the same time, your car almost goes completely sideways! We felt completely safe though. The tour guide teaches you a lot of history and fun facts while you are out there and you even see part of the old Spanish trails. I've been on a lot of pink jeep tours but this was one of my favorites!

I have always found the trips to be very well planned. Almost everything is taken care of. The only thing you do on your own is buy some fast food at meal stops. The trips I've been on have been on time. They generally leave from two locations--Boulder Station for those on the east side and Rampart Casino for those on the west side. Tour directors have been very personable and knowledgeable. And did I say, they're very organized and they keep things running on schedule with things they can control. It has been my observation that most of the clientele are gray hairs so be aware of that. In addition, they're often during the week when millennials should be at work!

The trip…read morewas advertised as a small group tour and was to include round trip air fare with no mention that some airports were not included in this offer. First - this tour had 42 people (definitely not a small group)! It was told to us that the trip was capped at 24, but they decided to add another group from another travel agency. Second - there were 6 of us originally in our travel group - one couple flying out of a small airport was told 2 WEEKS prior to leaving that they would have to pay an additional $750 each (after already forking over $6000) because they had a budget, and this airport was not one of the ones they flew out of. The audacity of waiting until 2 weeks prior to leaving to tell them this! Why wait until then to try to book flights! The couple ended up canceling and are hoping they get a full refund as promised. Once in New Mexico, we learned of the increased number in the group, the schedule changed multiple times and left many with a bad taste in their mouth. I will say the balloons were beautiful and were the highlight of the trip. But, needless to say, we will never again use this company and caution anyone looking to travel with them to beware and be alert to their shenanigans!
