We met several times over a 7 month period to prepare our wine. We'd make a party out of it each time. We each brought a bottle of wine and an appetizer to share. They have an area set up with tables for us to place it all. They provided us with wine glasses and pitchers of water. The staff is so knowledgeable about wine production and they did a great job explaining the process to us on each visit. On this particular visit, our wine was complete, so we were all part of the assembly line that got to bottle it up. We each took a case of wine home. Now I have 12 bottles of delicious wine to continue enjoying!

Last night was my first time visiting in over two years and it was such a nice treat. My friend and I showed up around 5 and sat at the bar to grab a tasting. There is a really comfy cozy vibe inside. We picked which option we wanted and started from there. About three tastings in (we don't really drink) we needed to add some carbs to the party so we checked out the food menu. $10 for a small pizza, not bad at all. The pizza is made in the oven right there and smells so good! I think we spent two or more hours at Vegas Valley Winery and enjoyed every minute. I can't wait to come back and bring one of our other friends too. I highly recommend you check out VVW if you haven't yet!

Best Food Tour! (Especially if you have dietary restrictions or allergies)…read more If you have dietary restrictions or allergies, this is the tour for you!! My husband booked us a food tour and when he told me my expectations were not high. I've been to food tasting in the past but due to being a pescatarian, I usually left hungry and had to stop somewhere after to get food. That was not the case with Lip Smacking Foodie Tours. The took us to Carson Kitchen, La Mona Rosa, Oak & Ivy, Le Thai. We had food and drinks at Carson Kitchen, La Mona Rosa, and Le Thai and each place brought out multiple dishes to try. Oak & Ivy was a drink only and it was one of the best Mules we ever had. My husband loved every dish at each restaurant and I was brought out separate pescatarian/vegetarian version of the same dishes. When I tell you we weren't hungry the rest of the day, I'm not exaggerating. Throughout the tour, we also learned interesting fact about the area and the community. I am so happy we went on the tour and got to explore an area we probably wouldn't have went to and tried multiple restaurants. When we come back to Vegas, we will be coming back and we will be recommending this food tour to everyone!

I won't give the stops so as not to spoil the " secret" but will say that it was a well thought out tour. The sampling of various food was great and the information that Sahar gave was excellent. I'd definitely recommend this tour and do it at the beginning of your trip. We wish we had known a day earlier as we would've went. Act to some of them for meals! In Vegas, food can be pricey which is ok if the food is good. We had experiences with pricey food that wasn't good (see my other reviews. Hahaha). This tour gives you a chance to get some nice food and a great tour too ! Recommend !

Our tour guide last Wednesday afternoon (18Feb26) was Jeff. In my opinion, Jeff is absolutely entertaining and incredibly knowledgeable. Our group of 9 was a good size to be able to easily keep together and hear him. The five stops included a pretty much full menu from appetizers, to dessert. In particular, I really enjoyed the Eggplant Parmesan (a personal favorite for me) at the 4th stop and it was followed by chocolate treats to top the tour off. The trip provided ample servings to satisfy an brunch for most 'normal' eaters. Book it and you won't regret it.

The Equifera Icewines (Riesling and Vidal) + Icewine Martini were fantastic, especially paired with the hors d'oeuvres (mini crab cakes, potato and duck egg rolls, and assorted chocolate truffles). The brief presentation by the father of modern icewine making, Donald Ziraldo, was informative and insightful. I love dessert wines, so hearing about the microclimate, harvesting the grapes, and non-traditional pairings for the exquisite icewine was especially interesting. Donald was definitely the right man for the job of Global Ambassador for Canadian Icewine. The sampling of the icewine was a nice treat. I really enjoyed the Vidal Icewine, which has a really nice bouquet of tropical fruits flavor notes. And getting a sip of the Cabernet Frac Icewine was really a nice treat (Thanks Dean!) I am for sure going to Total Wines to get me a few bottles. Thank you Yelp (Misti) and Patricia Nims (Kruger Wines and Spirits) for partnering up and offering this wonderful evening of extreme icewine tasting, and providing a great function for networking with other professionals. The banquet staff at the Trump International Hotel. And a big shout out to Donald Ziraldo and the folks at Equifera for creating this awesome wine! 5 stars all the way! Now go out and treat yourself to a nice bottle of Equifera Icewine :)

I had no idea I'd be committing to 20 tastings when I signed up for this event, honestly, I thought maybe 8-10 tastings. But as a wine aficionado, how does one say no? The event came with a wrist band, a souvenir wine glass, a punch card and a raffle ticket. The wine walk had 20 tasting stations, everything from Riesling, to Merlot, to Muscat to Shiraz. Each wine ranging from $10-$20 per bottle. I have to admit, I only liked about 1/2 of the wines. But what a joy it was tasting everything anyway. It seemed like all of the red wines were on one side of Town Square while all of the whites were on the other. I wish they would have mixed it up a little bit more. With 20 tasting sessions, Yelp was hosting 2 of them. It was fun to meet so many of my friends such as Mel C., Terri R., and Tracy P., plus see other familiar faces like Ron L, River H.and Molly T. With my Yelp check in, I received a wine charm, another added bonus to the evening. I'm told each event has different wines, but from the 4/29/13 event - The best wine by my book? By far the Truffle Merlot at stop 15. The worst wine?? The Ed Hardy wine - *bleh*! This was the only wine that William tossed in the bushes (it was one of 3 I did). I love events that give to charity, and I also love wine, this was a perfect mix of both. I'll definitely do this again, only next time I'll arrange a designated driver!

If anyone would have told me a year ago I would be writing a review on a Whiskey tasting....I would…read morehave told them they'd lost their vertical hold! But over the last year, I have discovered I like the taste of whiskey! Call it age....call it a more advanced palate....whatever you call it....mama likes! I never want to do things without educating myself, so what is a lady to do? Go to a class of course! Seriously....if I could have taken these classes in college....I would have been class Valedictorian! First of all JD was so accommodating, we had a change in our schedule and he came in on an unscheduled night so we could have the class before leaving early the next morning. The Whiskey Attic is located about a 10 minute drive off the strip in a quiet more industrial area. I like to point these things out because I like to know what to expect when driving to unknown areas. We took an Uber and it was easy to get a car to and from the location. JD greeted us at the door and right away we picked up on his brilliance about everything from sports, history and Whiskey of course! Because we were the only two there for this course it was a nice date night but honestly this would have been fun to do as a party, business ice breaker, or just something different. We did the introduction course, and not only did we learn about whiskey but wines, beers, anything you could want to know. And because The Whiskey Attic isn't trying to sell you product, you get to learn about all varieties, countries, and regions without being pushed to a particular brand. JD walked us through how to taste whiskey and how to drink it! After our class, JD asked us a series of questions and chose a selection of 6 brands he though we would like (the place is beautifully full of whiskey and JD knows where every bottle is) and we commenced tasting his selections! He nailed my tastes down to a tee and I enjoyed every one of the sample! We definitely want to go to the more advanced class next time we are in Las Vegas. I feel much more confident about ordering whiskey when I am out and about knowing what I like because of this class! Loved meeting JD and am looking forward to our next visit!
