GREAT little coffee shop right off of I-40 in Winslow, AZ (no, it's not in THE corner). Loved the coffee, and worth a stop in to try your preference - they have what you like! Some interesting pictures on the wall of folks that have stopped in to grab some Joe (or maybe refresh their MOJO...). Recommend the Smores Latte. I am a simpleton and enjoyed the light roast with a shot pf espresso - SUPERB! If you are looking for a quick caffeine shot while on the road, this is a GREAT stop. I don't really drink that much coffee, but I know a good cup from a bad one. Mojo Cafe features, Late for the Train Gourmet Coffee, which is a local company based out of flagstaff, and the coffee is excellent. If coffee isn't your thing they have other drinks and desserts, like smoothies, ice cream, and cheesecake etc. Once you walk into the cafe you will have to do a double take. You will think you are in some trendy coffee shop in L.A., but you will remember that you are Winslow, AZ and this place will seem like an oasis from all the truck-stops along I-40. If you don't like the coffee then you will definitely appreciate the ambiance. Another reason to stop would be to utilize the free Wi-Fi! There are not a lot of places to get free internet access when you are traveling in that part of the country, so it is a definite plus if you need to get your internet fix. Very nice place, looks divey, but the proprietor was very friendly. Ordered the Bulldog Rush (cream soda, espresso, syrup blend, whipped cream, over ice), Mayan Chai Tea Latte, Chorizo breakfast burrito, and Bacon, Egg, Cheese, Potato breakfast burrito. The food and drinks were very tasty, but what had an even more profound effect on us was the apparent support for the community that the owner showed. There were newspaper clippings from local sports teams, and other articles, that made it obvious that the owner supports the community and gives back to it. Kudos to him, and when we travel back through the area, we WILL make a point of stopping in again! read more

Located next to travelodge. I applaud the owner for starting a business and the coffee is great. The muffins and treats she sells are from Costco nothing homemade. The burritos are on the small size and are not freshly made. The bathrooms and dine in was closed due to covid but no one was social distancing inside. She was making coffee and handling things without gloves. This cafe reminded me of a convenience store with a coffee bar. There are several coffee places with the same name MoJo through out Arizona and the southwest. I waited over 20 mins for a cafe mocha due to 3 other people in the store, a long time to wait inside and customers not able to social distance due to the small space. Close to the interstate. We travel full-time and I make my own pour over every morning. I have just been buying ground coffee in the grocery store lately. However, my husband needed an ice cream fix and we stopped in. I bought a bag of medium roast. Wow! I had forgotten what a difference freshly roasted, ground coffee makes. It is so good, I returned for a second bag for the road. After staying 1 night in Winslow, en route to the Petrified Forest and Painted Desert, I was wanting some coffee. I thought I was going to have to settle for crappy gas station coffee as there really isn't much around these parts, but the gas station attendant was kind enough to refer me to this place after I asked if there were any designated coffee shops. Mojo Cafe is super cute and reminded me a lot of a Providence coffee shop; art and articles, pictures, etc. adorn the walls. It seems to also be a place where local musicians and artists gather to play and create. I ordered an Americano and a cinnamon bun, my mom ordered a light coffee and a toasted bagel. I have to say, and it's really not the girl's fault, but for a Saturday morning around 9 a.m., why is there only one person behind the counter taking orders? It's not even as simple as just pouring coffee, this poor girl was having to make fancy espresso drinks and prepare food items. So we had to wait about 10 minutes to get our order, which was annoying. The cinnamon bun and bagel were ok. My Americano was made really well. My mom didn't drink much of her coffee. I'd say stop into Mojo Cafe, but simply because it's literally the only coffee shop in the area, unless you want coffee from McDonald's or the gas station. read more

I bought 2 coffees, a small medium roast for my wife and an extra large dark for myself. This came to $5.28! The coffees were warm and my "dark roast" was nearly flavorless. I returned for a replacement and he said it was freshly brewed, which tells me the machine is not getting hot we ought, which would also explain the limited and weak flavor. He held fast that it was fresh and just brewed and the replacement was just as terrible. I should have gone next door to McDonald, since their coffee is better, and way better priced. read more

Mojo coffee was right off the freeway, easy to find and reasonably good coffee. As my wife is a coffee snob. It is always fun to hear what she says about her cup of coffee. Luckily it was late in the afternoon and she was in need of a fix of that caffeine that comes from the coffee. We were searching for a place that could make cappuccinos or expressos. Not a place that had coffee with a tinge of burned Asphalt in it.
