Overrated! Constructive feedback for the owner(s). Lunch at Brandy's was disappointing. The wait staff seemed indifferent--just going through the motions with little warmth or personality. Given that servers earn $18.35 per hour plus tips that can reach 25%, I expected friendlier, more attentive service. They could have been robots and it wouldn't have made much difference. We chose this because it was listed on Triple D. It was very disappointing! French Dip au jus sauce was not good. Sandwich itself was ok. Not recommended. Biscuit and gravy was not good! The gravy was sooooo oily! Terrible! Cajun scrabble was sad! Barely any eggs. Eggs were flat, no fluff. Barely any sausage. Not worth the money! Better made at home! I came across this restaurant and bakery called Brandy's and decided to try some of their dessert offerings. I noticed they had a variety of dessert squares available, so I ended up choosing several of them to sample. One dessert that stood out to me appearance-wise was the Irish apple cake. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a little too dry and tasted very similar to a basic apple cinnamon cake. Overall, it wasn't anything special to me. I also tried their strawberry lemon bar, which I really enjoyed. This one was very good and had a nice balance of tart lemon flavor. The texture inside was tacky in a good way, and it made the dessert very yummy. Another square I tried was the Almond Joy bar, which was amazing. It had a base that seemed to be made with granola, topped with a sweet coconut cream layer, and finished with a thick layer of chocolate and shredded coconut. It was very tasty. The last dessert I tried was their bread pudding square. It was pretty good overall, but it wasn't anything special. I did find the bread pudding to be a little dry. Each dessert square was priced at about $4.50. The staff was really nice or friendly. On the positive side, parking was super easy since the bakery is located in the same plaza as Safeway. read more

What a fun little restaurant to eat at. Guy wasn't wrong. We got the chorizo scramble and the California burger and a coffee along with the vegan pancake. Everything was superb! The vegan pancake comes with a dollop of butter and it was so delicious. I did not even put any syrup on it. It was nice and crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. The California burger was large and very tasty. Came with avocados and some sort of brussels sprouts on top. The chorizo came as a scrambled egg chorizo, with a large tortilla on the side and the salsa was very tasty. Lilly was our server and she was very accommodating and friendly. Service was quick and we got seated quickly as well even though the restaurant was pretty full. We had so much left over we had to grab a couple of little boxes to go and we grabbed a famous almond cheese danish to go as well to enjoy when we're not quite so full from breakfast. Absolutely loved this place and it was well worth the 15 minutes drive across town. I highly recommend it and next time I'm in Flagstaff. I will definitely come here. read more

This place has been a Flagstaff staple for a lot of years. I feel like sometimes this place can be a bit inconsistent, but typically it's still pretty good! The inside is nicely decorated and tends to be pretty busy. Sometimes there are lines out the door, so there's usually a slight wait. In the warmer months, they do have some seating out front in the parking lot (it's fenced in). I haven't had any of the pastries they offer, but I've tried the drinks. The alcoholic beverages are fairly priced and good. They even offer a flight, so you can try a bunch of different flavors. For coffee, my friends enjoyed their drinks. Brandy's has a lot of different options, some of which include vegetarian and vegan items. My cajun scramble was well seasoned, which was appreciated. My side included hashbrowns. Overall, I wasn't super stuffed from the serving, but I thought it was okay. I also tasted a few of my friends pancakes and they were really good. One had gotten the cinnamon roll pancake and it was the best! You could see the cinnamon on the bottom, which was perfect. Overall, I think this place is pretty good. I wish the serving size was a bit bigger for the price, but it's not a deterrent for me. I'll definitely be back for more! read more

We had high hopes for this place, based on the raving reviews. Our drinks were good, probably the best part for us! I ordered a biscuit and gravy with 2 eggs. The menu said their biscuit and gravy were both homemade. The biscuits were quite thin, and there was something sour tasting in the biscuit or the gravy, I couldn't tell. I ate as much as I could of it. Was a bit thrown off by the sour taste. The lattes/hot drinks had to be the best part. My friend said her eggs Benedict was alright. She agreed the drinks were the best part. I meant to order an oatmeal craisan cookie before leaving but forgot to. They look really good!! In 2021 we ate here 3 times in one week because the food was excellent. In May 2026 we ate here. The quality of the food had decreased a lot. We expected the portions to be smaller and they were. The best part of my meal was the hot café mocha. It was rich, flavorful, and choclatey. read more

Can't believe I never reviewed Brandy's! I used to live near this restaurant, we ate there at least once a month. This is a place we'd go for brunch or take friends/family who were visiting Flagstaff. The service is always great! The location is quiet and the interior gives small town coffee shop vibes. You can pick up coffee, tea, or a pastry for a quick bite. Or you can dine in and enjoy their food. Their Captain Jack sandwich is THE BEST, my friend and I only get this now. I've tried a few of the benedicts, sandwiches, the brandy melt is really good. And I used to come here religiously for biscuits and gravy with eggs. Every dish that my friends, family or myself has tried was eaten without complaints! Definitely give this place a try if you haven't already!!! read more

Came here for brunch after a hike and I'm glad we did! Started with the London Fog latte which was very yummy and well done! I got the Eggs Jose which was DELICIOUS and my bf got the Captain Jack sandwich which he rated a solid 8/10! I guess if Guy Fieri endorses this place it should be pretty good, right? Although sometimes us common folk don't get the same experience as a star, however this was not the case when we were there. We were given seated right away and didn't wait long for our waitress. There are lots of your typical breakfast options but what I liked was the ability to tweak ingredients if you wanted. I ordered the delicious scrambled eggs with spinach and tomatoes. They ended up throwing mushrooms in there too. Oops. My friends ordered omelets and really liked them. Servings are large! On the walls around the restaurant they hang artwork (watercolor) for sale. The only downside to this is that you are hovering over other diners as you view the art. read more

It's been years since I've been here for breakfast. I am so impressed that I will come here every time I come to flagstaff. The service was fantastic, they are very accommodating with substations. Good breakfast place. I only come for morning menu but should try lunch sometime! The prices are not the cheapest but you do get a lot of food and you could probably eat half and take leftovers home. We stopped here for breakfast and the food was good when we got what we ordered. The caramel vanilla latte I had was delicious. My husband ordered an omelette and decided for a side one pancake. Unfortunately that took way too long to come to him. He had to ask the waitress and she said it would be just another minute and then she continued to bring out other people's orders which included pancakes. Came here passing through after seeing a DDD. It's a breakfast/lunch spot within a strip mall that seemed pretty busy for a late breakfast / early lunch on a Tuesday. We picked a table toward the back that was on the border of where the carpet and tile floor met, so it was a challenge to get my chair set without rocking, but finally adjusted things in the tight space to do so. I ordered the Corned Beef Reuben ($13.29), which comes with a pickle, and split an order of Garlic Fries ($7.79) with my wife and daughter. It took a little while for the food to come out, but it was really good. The Reuben was one of the better ones I have had and the fries were natural cut with gobs of garlic spread over them. Ok traveling through and found this place with the help of my fellow Yelpers. The chorizo scramble was perfect as well as the country potatoes. They bake or broil the potatoes and then finish them on the grill, which I prefer over deep fried which seems to be the norm these days. Wife had the Swedish Oat pancake with the apples and it did not disappoint. It was about a twenty five minute wait for a table on a Sunday morning around 10:00, but definitely worth the wait. Looks like they have two locations here in Flagstaff, I highly recommend giving them a try if your in the area. read more

We've been coming here for years but I'm now only writing a review. Brandy's has a homie chilled ambiance. All the workers are so nice. The food NEVER disappoints. Price of food is not expensive. Portions size are good. During this visit, I had my first burger (California Burger) with fries and it's one of my favorites. There's only 3 places in Flag that has good burgers (in my option) and that doesn't include In & Out which is also a fave. I'll be coming back for another burger. Usually, when we come here, we have breakfast. I either have the Biscuit & Gravy, Cajun Scramble, or the California Benedict. The hash browns are a must. I usually have a Bloody Mary or a flight of mimosas. My husband always gets the Baja Mocha. There are two locations. And I just found out Proper Meats is a sister restaurant. read more

What a quaint place to enjoy a nice Sunday brunch. Located at the midtown shopping center. Came in at 8:45 on a Sunday, and no wait, so already a win. The waitress was very informative and recommended some items on the menu. I went for a caramel vanilla latte to get things started which was great, a tad bit sweeter than I expected, but still tasty nonetheless. Build my own omelette, side biscuit with gravy. Daughter had the Koala Bear Pancake with strawberries and apples in it. Food is absolutely amazing. Everything was executed to perfection. I'm a vegan and I was thrilled they had options for me. I ordered the vegan breakfast burrito, vegan pancake, breakfast potatoes and cold brew with oat milk. I went here for 2 reasons 1 customer recommended. 2 triple D. I ordered biscuits and gravy the flavor was really good but the biscuits a little tough and gravy was not hot or warm. The oat pancake was very good the cinnamon apple compote was not it was also not warm at all. I never send food back just because. Now on to the good the staff was awesome. The 3 stars are for the staff. Had 3 different people help me. 1 sat me then came back with my drink. Then informed me that she was my server. My server came up and let me know what she liked. I have past by this diner before. It looks like a typical diner with nothing much to it. After looking for a yummy breakfast in Yelp, ran across this spot and decided to try it. We sat outside for there wasn't a wait and it was a beautiful morning. Ordered the California Benedict with the side of their oat/flour pancake and the chorizo omelet. The Benedict was delicious. The egg was perfect and with enough ingredients to make it great! My son enjoyed the chorizo omelette. The oat/flour pancake was different. It is very hearty. You can definitely taste the oats in the pancake. It's not your typical pancake so if you're looking for that fluffy texture, this is not for you. The last time I was at Brandys was in 2012. I remember having a delicious fun coffee drink that I've actually thought about over the years. Happily, it was still a menu item: BAJA MOCHA Espresso with Mexican chocolate and spices, steamed milk, topped with whipped cream and sprinkled with sweet cinnamon and nutmeg. So enjoyable. Our server was attentive and well-informed. We were on the patio on a beautiful Flagstaff morning - the ambience couldn't have been better. Now, let's talk food: specifically the Brandys Egg Benedict. The egg and bacon were cooked perfectly. The sauce was tasty. The bagel was fresh BUT there was cream cheese on the bagel. What!?! Used to love this place but done coming in here. Staff is awful now. Last 4 times I have gotten takeout, 3-6 people just stand there talking to each other and completely ignore me. They are 3 feet away and facing me but not one person will look at me and say, "How can I help you?" or, "I'll be with you shortly." Today, I placed my usual order and again was ignored by 3 people for a couple of minutes when I came in. A fourth person finally helped after getting off the phone. There was a misunderstanding with my order, which was not a big deal. But when I asked them to fix it, 2 of the 3 people who had originally ignored me were rude. One acted put out, but said he'd fix it and went to the kitchen. The other asked the girl who took my order what had happened and then told her I had ordered the wrong item. I explained to her that I had not ordered the wrong item and she then pretended she hadn't said what I just heard her say. When I got my order back, it was clear they had not actually remade my order, but casually threw the forgotten item on the original order. Not warmed, not melted into the cheese, just slapped on. Sandwich was overcooked, dry and cold. Nowhere near as good as usual. I have no issue with a misunderstanding or mistake. I have an issue with being ignored, the mistake not actually being fixed when I was told it would be, and being blamed for the mistake happening in the first place. I've ordered the exact same thing more times than I can count and I've never been told before that had ordered the wrong thing. The food is fine, but the staff is ridiculous. Go somewhere you'll be treated better. Also, I paid $20 for a small sandwich and side of fries. read more
