I contacted Mojo Grill for catering information for our two Hospice volunteer Christmas parties. Jamie Green is their catering director and I have to say, she was a pleasure to work with. She replyed to all of my emails promptly and was so helpful. The catering staff showed up early, they had everything they needed and were a pleasure to work with. They served the delicious food and even cleared plates. They set up everything really nice and everyone loved the food. I highly recommend using Jamie Green and her catering staff at Mojo Grill. Food had no flavor and they really do h give much in terms of portions. I ordered a chicken bowl and it was basically all rice and had to look for the chicken. The waitress was not very good as she never came back to ask if we wanted another drink. Disappointed because it seemed like a cool place to go. read more

We went here to have lunch with the family and just enjoy each other's company. My mother was there with us and unfortunately... She is on an O2 machine at 5 Liters. FYI ... That's a lot. Anyway, her charge on her machine is only good for about 45 to 60 mins. So when we go somewhere, she's gotta have that thing plugged up into a power source. The manager was more than accommodating after explaining our precarious dilemma in detail. We only had to wait about 35 mins to seat our table of 14 with a receptacle that my mom could plug her machine. Voila ... Mission accomplished !! Our server was super awesome too. She took all of our orders and not too much later came out with the kids food. Now there's a server that has kids and knows what it is like to have to sit and wait for everyone's food to come out at the same time. So she got an extra tip just for being smart and awesome. Kind of a neat looking place decorated around the Elvis Presley theme with drums and guitar is hanging from the ceiling. The food was terrific. Started the meal, a late lunch, with a $2 happy hour beer. I haven't had a Yingling for two bucks since just after I graduated high school in the 1960s. The service was terrific, in addition to the beer we had ice tea and water served almost immediately. Off to a good start, I ordered shrimp and grits. They are my taste of excellence! Too often they're just over done grits canned sauce and overcook shrimp. These were perfectly done with a thick creamy flavorful sauce, lots of shrimp, and properly cooked grits. My companion ordered chicken fajitas. They came out steaming hot, perfectly cooked and served with excellent sides. Neither of us finished our lunch because we were both stuffed 3/4 of the way through even though we had lunch several hours late. It's so good we're thinking of going back tomorrow. read more

This place is AMAZING!!! We were seated by the owners' mother. Very sweet lady!! She gave us a little tour and story of the place which was a plus, I felt very welcome! The stairway to heaven room and the band instruments upside down on the ceiling was spectacular. Whoever was in charge of the decor did an AMAZING job. The music is they play is so fitting. What I love most of this place is the atmosphere. It's got an awesome vibe, probably the best of all restaurants I've been to. Now let me get to the food part - recommended to us by the owners' mother.. the CRAZY CUBAN sandwich with the mojo!!!! Oh my god! So so so delicious! I got it with the sweet plantains - boyfriend got it with the Cajun waffle fries. It was ALL scrumptious! Huge portion sizes too! I really can't wait to come back. WOW! A musically nostalgic decor creates a vast variety of things to see and read with bright unique paint, unique tables and even the floor is adorned with musical notes! Something interesting from the floor to ceiling literally! What a wonderful experience and absolutely amazing food topped off with an exceptional waitress named Jess. My husband and I are from out of state and ate here for the first time. I don't want to write a book but this place would be worthy! Our waitress Jess started the experience with polite, joyful and attentive service which I believe really sets the tone. We started with their sweet tea to drink and spinach dip as an appetizer (they offer a variety of alcoholic beverages as well along with a perfect variety of food/meals to choose from). I was impressed! Hearty tortillas with warm spinach dip and melted cheese on top! The best spinach dip I've ever had as well as the best sweet tea! Perfect amount of sweetness and as refreshing as ice cold water on a hot day! Our main course we shared 3 shrimp tacos with beans & rice, a southern style fried chicken sandwich (HUGE) tossed in honey mustard with lettuce tomato pickle and Mojos own Ranch ( a little spicy.. Cajun? Can't remember names exactly I'm sorry but wow! So yummy) all on a brioche bun with a side of.. no lie.. hands down.. the BEST Onion Rings I have Ever tasted in my life! So the food was amazing, our waitress was 5 star, we waited a reasonable amount of time for our food in relation to how busy the restaurant was, our food was hot and someone else brought it to the table which to me means they may not wait if the waitress is busy they bring it right out. The price was was very competitive for what we got! Worth every penny! I absolutely recommend this restaurant!! This is a "MUST STOP AT" RESTAURANT! I didn't use the "Hot Mama's"restroom but my husband said the men's (Cool Cat's) restroom was really clean with more music nostalgia decor. I noticed one thing which isn't bad enough to take away a star and some people may not even notice.. the restaurant was clean but the window ledges were a little dusty. The little things matter! If the prices were higher I would expect this place to look "detailed" no dust even. Other than that it gets an A+ 11 out of 10 best food and service I've had the pleasure to experience. Jim and I stopped here because of their dog friendly patio. They are very dog friendly here. Part of the very berry red sangria and Jim had the jalapeño margarita. I did the Cuban sandwich and Jim have the big boss burger both were very good. Playing good music and prices are very. Couldn't have been happier. Found this place as we left Silver Springs State Park. Had the $3 Thursday margaritas, Carolina skins that were topped with pulled pork, blackened shrimp fajitas and bourbon peach bread pudding. Hubby and I shared. All delicious, fast service and fun decor. read more

Delicious and fun place. Perfect place to stop by for a drink after a morning on the river. This is my second time here and I've had good experiences. The staff is super friendly and the food comes out hot and fresh. I've not strayed far from the menu yet, but have tried the chips and salsa and the cubano sandwich. The chips and queso are just that, chips and queso. The chips are crispy and salted well. The salsa seems very fresh, with plant of juices for those of us that may not like chunks. I have to say they do their cubano justice. It's so juicy and flavorful!! It also comes with Mojo's sauce which I believe was this liquid container that came on my plate. More like an Aus Jus, but still very good. I was dipping left and right, though I do with I had asked to try another sauce. I had also got the sweet potato fries which were delicious! Our waitress, Holly(?), was so very patient with us as we checked out the menu. My mom is a vegan so she made sure to get her something she would enjoy. A veggie wrap with different approved sauces to try. That was above and beyond in my book. Very thoughtful. One day, I'm going to have to come back and share a meal to save room to try their dessert nachos, which have intrigued me. But I'm always stuffed by the end of the meal!! read more

Ordered online only to find out an hour later when the dasher showed up to pick up my order that the internet was down and everyone's order was lost. I drove up there in person asked to speak with a manager. The manager informed me that all orders had been refunded and IT was working on the problem. I could reorder if I wanted to and he walked away. The people ahead of me had already been waiting 30 minutes for their "reorder". So not only did they lose everyone's order but then they didn't even expedite the orders for the people who had already been waiting for their delivery which would never come. Poor management. I understand the internet issue but to then not even try to rectify it with the patrons is ridiculous. Those orders should be sent to the top of the line and made immediately. UPDATE: The General Manager did reach out to me the next morning. He apologized for the issues and the way his management handled the situation. He also offered to send some gift certificates, nice gesture. He assured me he would discuss it with his management staff. Nicely handled. read more

I have been to this restaurant many times, so why haven't I reviewed it? No clue. This place has some excellent things--mojo pork and mojo salad dressing. My son ordered the Cajun pasta which he absolutely loves. I ordered the mojo salad without onions or peppers. Both things were delicious. Really exceeded any thoughts we had! Saw it from the street and stopped before I killed my hungry teenager. Buffalo shrimp were over cooked but tasty anyhow. The ranch and blue cheese were outstanding! Got a cheeseburger, brisket sandwich (French dip) and wings. The wings, brisket and waffle fries were amazing! I didn't try the burger.... Delicious! Had the pulled pork nachos, Memphis pulled pork sandwich, and a cheeseburger for the meal, chips & salsa for the app. I really liked the salsa bc it was more like a pico de gallo, and tasted very fresh. I also loved my pulled pork nachos, and my FIL really liked his pulled pork sandwich, although he noted he would have liked a little more liquid in his coleslaw, which he had on the side. Upon entering I explained that we had a dog, and asked if we could still eat there. Between the manager, hostess, or waitress, I can't think of which one was kinder or more welcoming! We were directed around the building to the front patio area where there was plenty of seating. Two other (well behaved) dogs were also there.
