Parking is street parking and it could be very hard if it's a busy day. They have an ATM machine they do not take cards so bring cash. I got the oxtails and I got a large cornmeal porridge. The oxtails were OK. I really just wasn't tasting the oxtail taste and they were kinda tender; not as tender as I would have liked them to be. Overall, I wasn't impressed. I feel like it didn't taste as good as it did Back In The Day. I did enjoy the porridge because not many Jamaican restaurants offer it outside of morning time. if I am in the area, I will go back and maybe try something else but I definitely will be getting the porridge. For me, it felt like a quiet but meaningful nod to the culture. The intentionality behind each dish was evident. Knowing that many of the ingredients are sourced from their own farm made the courses feel even more special. The flavors were intricate, layered, and incredibly well-balanced, making each course a unique experience. The servers were so knowledgeable and able to describe and walk through each ingredient that elevated each course. While every dish was exceptional, my absolute favorites were the smoked pork belly and the scallops. Both were beautifully executed and packed with complex flavors. So good!!! I was continually impressed with how each dish seemed to be better than the last: the fresh salad with a poached quail egg, to the skate (forgot to take a picture but it beats the famous Nobu cod in my book), to the incredible supplemental course with Dungeness crab and uni.
