I had only seen ONE scorpion on my property (outside) in 16 years of living there....until I got stung IN MY BED! I found MOJO on Groupon and we set an appointment ( with the very helpful owner who I spoke with on the phone) for three days later. Dominic was on time, informative, answered all my questions happily and was polite and friendly- exhibiting great people skills! He listened to my concerns and addressed them, then thoroughly treated the entire property inside and out, focusing on the areas I brought to his attention. He even went around the house with a brush on a pole and swept for spider webs around the whole house and in the eaves. He laid down some glue traps as well at entry points. I was ensured that the spray was safe for children and pets, and also that it would help with ALL bugs, (including mosquitoes, which have been worse this year because of all the rain earlier in the season.) Dominic worked quickly and quietly and was done in about 20 minutes. I will definitely have them back for a second 'follow-up' treatment to be sure this problem is nipped in the bud! I had a very good experience with one of Mojo's serice techs yesterday. He has been here twice before and has been attentive to my needs. But yesterday, Justin was here for a bimonthly service call and we were discussing problem areas while standing on my courtyard patio with the gate closed, when my smaller dog attempted a jailbreak (and succeeded in squeezing through the wrought iron gate bars). Boom! He was out. So I went to gather him and my second dog saw how much fun the first one was having and decided to escape as well. Justin understood my problem and worked with me to run after the animals and we each carried one back after we caught up with them halfway down the street. That's what I call going the extra mile. We have been using Mojo Pest Control for several years and have been happy with the service/results. The techs have always been nice. One month recently I e-mailed them to ask to push the service to the next month. No issue. They got the e-mail and moved our service to the next month. Other pest control companies have come to our door to sell their services, but we have been happy with Mojo so far and don't see a reason to switch. (I told this to another company, who replied that it doesn't matter that I am happy with my current service, I should still switch because the new one was better...oook). Although they have changed ownership since we started with them, we have used this company for at least five years. I much appreciate their courtesy and reliable service. Today we watched as Stephen sprayed and dusted the back yard and were impressed with how thorough he was. Today he also did the interior. If a problem develops between their visits (every three months), they gladly come and take care of it. I've been using Mojo Pest Control for 8 months. They have super courteous technicians and Tori in the office is great to work with. They are quick to respond and are very thorough. When I first called them I was in panic mode. We were planning a large Thanksgiving gathering with family and we had a serious scorpion epidemic. I was starting to see a decent amount of crickets and scorpions. I booked a Groupon with Mojo Pest and this did not disappoint!! I will continue to use them... they did an amazing job. They sprayed 2 weeks ago. Today I went outside and there was 2 dead scorpions by my patio door. I have a toddler and dog so I was grateful they didn't make it inside! In addition to the service that was provided, Dominic was very helpful with providing us information regarding some causes of mosquitos in our area, and even looked up some helpful pages for us to contact the vector control in our area to service the public green belts in our area that we are adjacent to. Mojo came out and did a thorough inspection. Coby was very honest showing me that the bugs I thought were termites were not actually termites. Even as a favor he removed the insects that I thought were termites free of charge. I'll certainly call him if I have termites in the future. I recommend this company! read more
