We live in Cuyahoga Falls but will drive to this Akron location instead of the one in the Falls. I would recommend this restaurant for the food, service and reasonable price. The food was very good, with generous portions, until I got to the bottom of my fruit bowl, and in the bottom was a short dark hair. I showed waitress and she shrugged her shoulders and said sorry. My friend and I ordered the #3 omelet with 2 ingredients, hers was more than mine, brought to the attention of waitress and she said" my bad", but did rectify the mistake. One of the worst dining experiences I've ever had in my life. Disrespectful, entitled waitress with an attitude brought us a mixmash of mixed up orders. I asked for a little more coffee she put in a drop. The next time she bypassed us while giving coffee to all the other tables. When the waitress did show up with coffee she gave it to people at all the surrounding tables and then started walking away from us. I said we'd like some coffee too! She gave me a drop. I said it was funny the first time but I want a refill. One of the people I was with said you take what you get. I immediately thought what the hell kind of a restaurant is this. The wait staff can keep their attitude and just bring us the food we ordered without having people reaching on their plate and handing bacon that belonged to someone else. I can't believe I left a $2 tip. A penny would have been too much. We went for breakfast at around 9:00 on a Friday morning. Waited almost 25 minutes just to get drinks. Then when we finally did get our food almost 50 minutes AFTER we ordered it, it was completely wrong and neither me or my husband could actually eat it. I understand that things happen but when we notified the waitress that everything was wrong she was not apologetic in the slightest and seemed aggravated that we were telling her. My husband got his (wrong) order about 10 minutes after I had already gotten mine, also wrong. We ended up leaving money for our drinks and walking out. If there was any kind of acknowledgement it probably wouldn't have been as bad of an experience...but if we go back to Molly Brown's we will try the other location. read more

Food was good until I saw a big ass roach crawling on the wall next to me. It was obvious what was happening and our waitress couldn't care less. You have no appetite after something like that and I feel your meal should be comped in that situation. Server really unfriendly and not in like a funny, sassy way. Just uncaring and unfriendly. I took my boyfriend here for the first time today. I've been several times and it's been very good!! Today, not so much. First, we had to find our server to place our order. We both asked for eggs to be scrambled hard, cheese grits, and he wanted his hash browns cooked a little longer. The eggs had cheese not even melted nor mixed in, just placed on top. The grits were so thick and lumpy, I couldn't eat them. The thickest grits I've ever tasted in my life. The only thing she tried to correct was his hash browns. But they came out even lighter than the other ones. Pancakes and apple juice was the best thing about this meal. When checking out, the guy asks how everything was. When telling him our complaints, he got an attitude and got really sassy. He was better off not asking anything, at that point we were over it and just knew we wouldn't try it again. After his encounter, I'll make sure none of my family or friends go there at all!! One star because of the pancakes and because I couldn't give 0. Molly Browns serves large portions of tradition and Mexican inspired breakfasts for an affordable price. My husband and I stopped in at Molly Browns on Sunday morning after a night of drinking and boy were we hungry! There's something about alcohol that makes you a ravenous pig the next morning. This was the perfect place to get breakfast because they serve huge portions and they're very friendly. We were seated upon entering and didn't have to wait for a table even though they were quite busy. Our waitress brough us coffee right away and took our orders. Hubby ordered the Bunyan breakfast (I think that's what it was called) and it came with ham, sausage, bacon, eggs, and pancakes. He ate a good portion of it but couldn't finish it. He especially liked the sausage links. I ordered the chicken omelette with hasbrowns and toast. Holy crap, this thing must have weighed 3 pounds. I'm not even joking! It had to be at least 5 eggs worth. It had all sorts of goodies in it: onion, green peppers, mushrooms, cheese, chicken, etc. and topped with sour cream. It's kind of morbid to wrap chicken with its dead babies but it works! Overall, the food was good but could have used some seasoning. I don't know if they're catering to the older people who frequent their restaurant or what but nothing had salt or pepper on it. Thankfully, both were provided on the table along with ketchup and tobasco. We had an Entertainment book coupon for $7 off but without it, our breakfast would have been $20 including tip. read more

Went there for breakfast with my mother, the food was very good but the broken English speaking gentleman that wrong as child had zero customer service. We stood there for five minutes waiting for him to ackknowledge us and when he did he didn't ask how anything was. She had a coupon which was just sent to her earlier that morning and tried to use it. He asked where it came from. The email was from then through "Belly". He then states they don't use that service any more. He didn't offer to let her use the coupon which was only for $2 off. This guy has zero personality, zero customer service skills and now zero return customers due to his rotten attitude and personality. Stopped late-morning for something to quiet the growls. Their menu tends to focus on breakfast, so we took the hint. The wife got a vegetable skillet, without mushrooms and I got the hobo skillet. The wait for food was a bit long and sans refills, when it came the waitress dashed off to chat with some regulars quickly enough that despite hand waving and other semaphore to gain her attention to share with her that the mushrooms were everywhere in the lady's skillet. Happily the other waitress walked by and we were able to apprise her of the error. The replacement skillet arrived quite quickly, in perhaps 20% of the wait for the initial service. There was a generous amount of meat, etc. in my skillet but it all must have been in a bin of yesterday's leftovers as it was all pebble-like, resisting anything short of a very concerted effort at consumption, appreciably diminishing it's enjoyment. The vegetable skillet's veggies were just this side of minced, eliminating the need to masticate altogether. The hash browns at the bottom of both were, instead hash whites, much to the delight of my wife, and my own disdain. Kudos for how they handled the meal replacement, the rest? Meh!!! read more

Terrible service with rude waitresses. I was a regular customer who visited 2-3 times a week but I will never return again. I walked in, waited for 5 minutes for someone to seat me before I sat myself. Once I sat down another 5 minutes later a waitress comes to our table does not say a word and throws the menus on the table. Lots of good food and at a great price. There are ALOT of regulars here....which is always a good sign. We have been here several times and have not had a bad experience. I love this place!! There is two of them that are almost identical in taste! The service is amazing at this one. They greet you as soon as you walk in and they always want to know your name for next time you come in. Very kind and very tentative to your needs. The quality of the food is poor, but what was I expecting for a $13 breakfast for 2 people? You can take forever to serve my food, but please don't skip me on the coffee refill.
