It's not sold on Amazon. The items are pricey but worth it in the long run. My dogs are tiny and they never escape from their harnesses. We also have a type that adjusts as your dog grows. Through a Facebook page for coton de tulears, many owners recommended the Tre Ponti harness for small dogs. I had a hard time ordering through the company's website, so I learned that this store carried the harness through an internet search. We received excellent customer service in trying the sizes I thought would work for our two dogs. The harnesses are a little more than what we wanted to spend, but for a perfect fit, they were worth the money. Our dogs did so well with trying on different sizes that they received a small treat for their good behavior. The next time we're in the area, we'll stop by and take a look at the other goodies the store has to offer. read more

Such a cute little boutique for your pets (dogs and cats), yourself all the cat and dog lover humans in your life. It's located conveniently in Downtown Danville. On my first visit here, I was greeted warmly by the owner and she offered helpful tips on the purchases I made. There were all kinds of pet beds, toys and accessories. Many years and two dogs in, I'm still a huge fan of Molly's. Our new dog, Titan, needed to up his collar game. Molly's was the first choice in finding the unique collars that can I choose to adorn my doggy's neck. Service is outstanding. Every time, all the time. I found a super cute collar in store that was black leather with little brushed silver dog bones on it. I really liked another collar with brushed silver stars but they didn't have his neck size or the width of the collar I wanted. So they special ordered it for me. A few weeks later I got the call that my new adorably cute collar was in. I also got him a rain coat. Green with reflective strips on the sides. He wears a harness when riding in the car and the jacket fits over his harness with a little gap for the seat belt and/or leash can fit through it. Its incredibly designed and built. He loves it, especially in the rain. We also get a few toys. I'm a fan of the rope toy selection because of the durability. He shreds the big chain store rope toys in a day. The ones I bought at Molly's are still all over the living room. Lets not forget the treats. Their treats of A+, number one. I love them and he loves to eat them. On October 7th 2022 my wife and I went to Molly's Pup-Purr-EE in Danville, CA. to buy a few treats for our dog. While there, we purchased a couple of small stuffed animals for Geotgia. We left happy after spending over $56.00 at Molly's. When we got home we realized the stuffed animals purchased were not compatible with our dog due to their very light (cheap) construction. Today, October 8th, my wife and I went back to Molly's Pup-Purr-EE to return the stuffed animals which were still packaged and in the store bag. The clerk asked us if we had the sales receipt. We did not have the receipt as it had not been placed into the bag when the clerk bagged our items. The total dollar amount for the stuffed animals we were hoping to return was about $16 including tax. Today's clerk told us that we she could not issue a cash refund but a store credit only because we did not have the receipt. We reiterated we were not given the sales receipt and showed the clerk the on-line purchase charges from our bank, to Molly's Pup-Purr-EE. This electronic proof still did not satisfy the clerk's needs or requirements for cash return. Store credit only was again offered. I looked around the store and nowhere did I see a sign that stated a receipt was necessary for cash return. I told this to the clerk and she said it would be necessary to bring the matter up with the owner. In essence, we spent over $56 in purchases and were only asking to return $16 worth of stuffed animals that were not suitable for our dog. We strongly believe that a store should afford customer satisfaction and promote customer loyalty by allowing simple returns of an unused item. Obviously this store does not care about customer satisfaction and repeat business. Nevertheless we will never walk into that store again and I hope people take this review into consideration before they purchase a single item from Molly's. read more

I've been coming here for years, as they've been part of Danville for over 20-years. I've even met Molly before too, as she lived a long life of 18-years. It's nice to know that her memory will live forever with this store, as her photos are displayed everywhere inside the store. They are pretty pricey, but they do carry some unique items that you won't find at a PetSmart or a Petco, which would make unique gifts to friends & family. They do accept credit cards and you can also purchase a gift certificates from them. If you want to support a local independent store, instead of a chain store, you should visit here. It's also pet friendly, so feel free to bring your furry companion here, although it is very small inside. They designed it to feel like you're walking into their very own home. I've really only gone in here in search of one item: Simon the octopus rope toy for dogs. My Miniture poodle loves him, but unfortunately we are on no.3. Yep, we keep forgetting to pick him up before going out for the day and our nervous nelly of a Lab (who is house bound after ACL surgery) destroys all soft toys. The poodle stands on the sidelines and watches in sadness as this happens while we are gone. How do I know this you ask? Well at some point while out and about I peek into my handy app on my iphone called "icam" a webcam to check on the doggies. And this is usually when I discover our forgetfullness as I see the carnage sprawled all over the living room carpet. This is where Molly's Pup-Purr-Ee has come to save the day. Because the first "Simon" was purchased at a fancy-shmancy pet store in San Carlos, and I wasn't gonna drive all the way back there for a $13 dog toy (was over visiting my Mom that day). So I called around and this is not a toy that they carry at Petco, so yeah I've got to pay a bit more. But he really likes these particular rope toys, and over time they unravel and keep him occupied for quite awhile (unless....the Lab sinks her teeth into them, then it's death in minutes). No.3 just lost all its legs (tentacles) and now only has a head, but my pup loves his ragga-muffin toy. So I'm thankful to have a "Molly's" in town that has the higher end toys like this one. I've also purchased a couple of collars for the Poodle there that are very trendy and not to horribly expensive. They have some really cute stuff for dog (and cat) lovers, but some stuff is a bit pricey. I will say everytime I've gone in the girls are super friendly and offer my pup a treat. He loves a treat, and I would say he probably would give the place his paw of approval. read more

I love little pet boutique's and this one really caters to those who really have POSH pets! I mean they sell doggie nail polish and lots of really cute accessories that are just too darn cute! Unfortunately I have a boy dog... and thus he doesn't get a faux pearl necklace, nor the hot pink polish (although I must say I would like to pretend he was a girl...maybe just a little!) so he doesn't get those things. What a wonderful experience this pet paradise is for both pet and Human. I purchased gear for my 3 pups (JJ, Starr, and Luna) much needed leashes, scarfs, treats, and covers for the new car. I run a special needs dog rescue in the East Bay. We had an opportunity to possibly relocate to Danville. I wanted to check out some of the local pet-related businesses in Danville. I stopped by Molly's Pup-Purr-ee to meet Tina Wong, the owner of the store. The first thing I noticed was how inaccessible the building is to people who have mobility issues, and if you can even make it to the front door, the tiny store is so packed with merchandise, it would be very difficult to shop if you were of a certain body type or had mobility issues. I am surprised that the fire marshal or the ADA hasn't received complaints about this place. After talking to Tina, I was taken aback at how much negativity she has about the city government of Danville, and the people of Danville. It was her opinion that Danville is not a dog friendly community and that our rescue and its special needs dogs wouldn't be welcome in Danville. There is local Danville vet who is graciously treating a small puppy that was thrown from a moving vehicle that we rescued from the shelter. Tina had nothing nice to say about this vet (who is a saint in our eyes). She likes to tout that her merchandise is all "American made" but I am somewhat familiar with pet supplies (including some of the merchandise in her store), and I know for a fact that it isn't all "American made." Why mislead your customers? My understanding is that Molly's Pup-Purr-ee has been around for a long time. She probably owes a lot to the city and people of Danville. I would think she would be more grateful. I would recommend trying Dog-ma who opened up across the street - at least their store is accessible, and less of a death-trap. read more

Man oh man, I so really want to like this cute little house of doggie (and kitty) stuff and the outrageous prices and Juicy, Coach and Prada type accessories for all the Danville and Alamo dogs. But I can't...Why-well, not only am I still a little prone to "the other side of the tunnel", but because the owner/woman who works here has a stick up her butt and is the epitome of everything I can't stand in a shop owner/worker. Recently I went in to purchase a new retractable leash (the dog chewed up the old one!). The Asian woman at the counter (I believe she's the owner as she's the one I always see there, and everyone else seems HS aged) was quite rude when I asked if she carried them... My husband and I were shopping downtown and decided to walk into Molly's Pup-Purr-Ee (love the name) to see if we could find something cute for our kitty. As you would suspect mostly everything is for dogs but they do have some unique cat toys as well as a large selection of ceramic food bowls suitable for cats. IF I DID have a dog, I would probably come here much more often and find expensive and luxurious trinkets to spoil him/her with. But I don't have a dog...*sniffles* Someone tell my husband to get me a dog already! Or someone figure out a way to make cats take walks, play fetch and play in the park like dogs do! Absolutely adorable store! Not only do they have super high quality merchandise for your four legged friends but also very cute stuff for people who love animals. Very unique and one of a kind things with some items you see at basic pet stores also. They are pricey but so worth it for a new one of a kind fit! I did make notice that some things were a tad cheaper than other pet stores. Owner was super nice and involved with helping me find the right size. She is good! They also have an annual "dog day" in July I believe, where over 200+ dogs some out....quite the happening scene I hear....I guess for pets and owners alike. My dog found a special food he loves and isn't carried anywhere within the Bay Area, so they place an order for me every month. Why not order from Amazon? I love this place. Tina is always so helpful and has great suggestions for my lab and my mom's very finicky Cavalier. Great selection of high quality food, treats, toys, and dog accessories and will help you order specialty items if needed :) The recommendations from Tina have helped the cavalier stay out of the vet due to the food and probiotics she's recommended that have kept her healthy.
