This alerted me but, I gave them credit because I had purchased from the nursery over several years. It was the staff that encouraged us to use them for design and installation work. Use caution as they say they have or can get or do and then back out. Sad to relay this message but true experience. Realize it is hard to find staff which makes committing to a schedule difficult, but dragging a customer on was not a good approach. I'm a positive reviewer type, want to help out local businesses over WalMart. Hard to write this but feel others should go in aware in the hope they have a better experience. The nursery has limited hours, not necessarily the hours posted. Went by several times when they were supposed to be open but were closed.

She was able to relocate to Wailuku and live with a relative, and then into her own home. In addition to this, it was soon discovered that her niece had a rare form of cancer, and soon after passed away. I am on Oahu and was able to call Maui Green Gardens and was able to speak with the owner, Quirino Hipoloti. Over the phone I ordered a Puakenikeni tree from his nursery to commemorate my friends niece and he hand delivered it to her doorstep. I thank Mr Hipoloti for all his kindness, and all done over the phone with the aloha spirit.

You can drive right up to the plants, but it can get very hot as there is no shade. It is located in sort of a field. I would also bring cash as it is easier to purchase. I have paid through Facebook before, but it was inconvenient because the people who help you are the workers and they are usually in the field. Take's True Value Hardware store............you are truly my HERO!!!!…read more If you folks read my Ohana Airlines review, you will see that I flew into Molokai to do a job for a bank. Upon landing on Molokai, the airlines lost / misplaced all of my gear, so I was there to do an important job, but had not tools, and even lost some specialty communications cables....... I had to think pretty fast on my feet, as not executing and completing this job was not an option.......... What did I do???? Of course I opened my Yelp app. to look for the closest hardware store in conjunction to where I was working. Low & behold, I found 3 places that possibly could meet my needs - 1. Ace Hardware 2. Take's True Value Hardware Store 3. Napa Auto Parts Store I first went to Ace Hardware, but they didn't carry all the tools that I was looking for...........then I did plan "#2" and went to Take's True Value Hardware Store. BINGO!!! Take's had all the tools that I needed to complete the task I came to Molokai to do! Looking at Take's True Value...........it kinda reminded me of a smaller scale City Mill. This hardware store is locally owned, clean, and besides tools.........they also sold other items like sporting goods, plumbing items, & electrical items too! Lots of free parking in the private parking lot, but I didn't have to worry about parking, as I walked over to the store from the bank. It's nice to know that even if you're on a remote island............you can still get what you need, and I feel so fortunate that Take's True Value Hardware Store was around when I needed them!
