My worms are local! It was easy enough to call Zachary to set up a time to pick up worms. He sells them out of his home/worm ranch, and we got a fun little tour of his operations. He has an amazing garden and it looked like tons of worm production. He had already pulled out a batch of worms for me, but poured them out to show me before bundling them up. They were very lively and so plentiful. He explained that he sells only blue worms and they're the faster eaters (as opposed to red worms), and that I wouldn't need to wait to feed the worms--in the past, the worms needed to acclimate for a few days before feeding. Zachary is very knowledgeable, and he also sells vermicast by the pound, if worm farming isn't your cup of (worm) tea. In my opinion, his prices are quite reasonable.

Next day, I decided to call back and this time around I got what seemed to be an older lady who answered very rudely and continued on with such a sassy attitude. Not sure what came over her. I was just double checking and making sure they had my order correct. Just sad to know how some people feel the need to act in such a way. Curious, I entered the spacious, bright, well air-conditioned, tidy shop. I saw clothing by Kini Zamora... he is a designer from Hawaii that was on Project Runway. I thought: i wonder if I can get an outfit? The dresses that I liked weren't in my size... hmmm... I'll look again later... There were some funny stickers... they were sold out. I almost got a cute Power Puff Girl sticker... and Kawaii Supaerman sticker... LOL! I liked the tote bags, stationary, accessories like costume jewelry, local fragrances, Hawaiian themed t-shirts, pet supplies, etc. A worker asked if I needed help because I was going back and forth. I told him that there's so many things to look at... I wasn't going in an organized pattern through the store! He laughed and said that there's so much that he doesn't even know exactly what they have!
