My friend took me to a Level 1.5 lyra class, and it was very approachable for me. Signing up for class in advance was easy. Parking can be challenging so arrive with plenty of time. Lots of delicious restaurants nearby if you decide to grab a bite to eat after. I can't wait to come back! I had so much fun and enjoyed the sense of community. What a good, appropriately challenging workout.

Which makes sense since they have no actual teaching credentials. Anyone considering doing "pro-track" or any sort of "advanced" workshop - DO NOT!! They have a zero perfect success rate. The first two people in "ProTrack" left (I was the first). More who have joined have since left. Only people in it that stay in it are kids that grew up there and have been groomed to deal with the disorganization. Their only claim to fame is doing a SeaWorld show decade(s) ago. There was no curriculum, conditioning was just doing a checklist sheet they give their little kids too, and they were always late. Not to mention they cared more about what fast food they are going to order in that day more than being on time or actually communicating with athletes. This is not a real training program. Only works if you want to pay $650/month for open gym time. I could go on for AGES but I won't. Most unprofessional and lowkey pathetic places I've ever been because Nicole and Victor are lazy, unprofessional, and not good coaches, communicators, or even people. They care about money and making themselves look more successful than they are. Peel back the curtains and you'll see some washed up bullsh^t with a pretty bow on it. They even lied on a panel at VivaFest in 2024 (multiple in person witnesses can attest and provide evidence of all of their lies). Do not go here if you want to be able to trust anyone, have good communication, and especially don't go if you want quality high level coaching. Happy to answer any specific questions anyone may have. I wish I could have saved the $$$ they so happily took without providing any value. They fought someone else on the programs credit card company to try to f&ck them over and steal more of their money after they left too. This place is sad. Run.

Aerial is a pretty small community and I've come to see that most studios fall into one of two categories: high caliber instruction but coaches are mean, or really kind coaches but classes are only recreational. This place has been able to do both to a 10 - coaches that are warm and genuine and care about the kids' personal development, AND super high caliber instruction with a huge runway of opportunity to advance and excel. I wish we lived closer and could come more often to really take advantage of all the classes. Living far away, we can only make it in a couple of days a week, but it's all worth it for what you get here. They are fostering a team dynamic and invest and the kids in their program. My kids come out smiling and tired, rather than crying or mad as was often the case at our previous studio. I just can't say enough good things about not only Victor and Nicole, and even about their younger coaches that my kids rave about like Malena and Cat!!

There are two floors: the first floor is just a huge basketball court that can be used as a badminton court at night. They have a schedule on the side of the main door that shows all the times of usage. Upstairs, there are three different components. One is for the aerial silks class, the other is for some type of bootcamp (and more aerial silks) and the other is the main gym area. This includes treadmills, a stretching area and weights/racks. Pros: -Good variety of sports equipment and workout equipment! For a place this size, it's already decent. Nothing much to complain! Cons: -A little confusing to navigate around if you are a first timer. Where is East and West balcony...? Just don't be afraid to ask! Tips/Observations: -There is a swimming pool right behind the gym! Overall, will continue to come here as long as I am in Muir/Revelle!

I'll only speak on the basketball courts, since that's pretty much what I exclusively used here. The courts themselves are amazing. Soft-rims, clear lines, and when it isn't being assaulted by other rec classes' scuffing shoes, great floors! And let's not forget the historical significance! This was the '92 Dream Team's practice facility, and the locale of their only loss (even if it was a scrimmage)! It's kind of breathtaking to think that I'm playing on the same floor where Barkley dunks of Malone, or where Magic Johnson comes back from retirement to dish out a few more beautiful assists. Unfortunately, they redid the floors entirely, and now it's... eh. But the biggest cardinal sin lies in the scheduler's completely disregard towards basketball players (or maybe the entire sport itself). They prioritize rec classes, and other sports in a "basketball" court! Some would argue: "But they pay for those classes!" - That would hold merit if they didn't raise our tuition enough to build an entire basketball stadium, much less an additional court. Shouldn't students - whose single tuition would more than cover an entire rec classes's fees a thousand-fold - be given priority? "Well, what about the other sports!? They matter too!" - They have several handful of combat rooms for karate. They could use the marginal amount of money it would take to renovate the auxiliary rec gym next door and use that exclusively for badminton or whatever. Instead, they keep the blue "lego room" gym for no reason, and over-saddle Main Gym's schedule instead. It's kind of sad that this basketball shrine - which should be a historic landmark dedicated to basketball - is now relegated to the bottom of the barrel. The few times it is open - and it's getting rarer and rarer - is still a treat for an addict like me, but it's not the same as it was before.

She is exceptional and makes you feel like family! Always has a smiling face and genuinely cares for the success of every kid there! My daughter loves all the staff but in particular loves taking private silk classes with Coach Joel Castro!! He is hands down amazing! At such a young age he shows a very high level of professionalism and is attentive every second of his lesson! He never takes his eyes off the student and provides great constant feedback but most importantly helps my daughter believe in herself and pushes her to grow with each class!!
