This is our daughter's first year in cheer, and we couldn't be happier with the supportive, skilled, and enthusiastic coaches. They've created such a positive environment where she's learning, growing, and having fun every week. The facility is clean, well-organized, and clearly designed with kids' safety and development in mind. Our son is in the ninja class and absolutely can't get enough--he looks forward to it all week and has a blast every time. The energy, creativity, and structure of the class keep him engaged and excited to come back. My 4 year old autistic daughter just participated in the Extraordinary Athletes Pilot Program at Momentum Athletic Center, in collaboration with Developmental Pathways. She was previously enrolled in a gymnastics camp at another local studio, but we were told after the first day that she was not welcome to finish the rest of the camp because she struggles with following multistep instructions and waiting for other classmates to finish on an apparatus before taking her turn. I am so proud that Momentum Athletics has created this inclusive program for kids of all ability levels. The personalized coaches were fantastic with the kids and each kid was allowed to be themselves in a supportive and enthusiastic atmosphere. There isn't enough great things I can say about Momentum. I used to be a coach here and was treated with such respect and I felt extremely cared about when I was there. (Sadly had to move due to medical reasons) However, this review isn't just about me. I'd like to say how much the owners/management/coaches care about the students here. All of our meetings, excess time in the gym, etc. were spent trying to make gymnastics more fun and safe for these young gymnasts. I have never worked in a place where the owners were so supportive of every gymnasts there and not just the finances. These owners would walk through the gym and talk so highly of every single level of gymnasts that goes here! That left such a lasting impression on me. I think all gymnasts are special no matter what skill level (and should be treated accordingly) and I loved working at a place where that was implemented through management all the way to coaches. Momentum is a family and everybody cares about everybody! I can't wait to enroll my sweet child here one day! read more

If I could give this zero stars I would. It's sad that my husband and I pay almost $100 a month for our 5 year old to be in a facility where we are NOT welcomed. First, I would like to say that the only part of this Ninja Class we enjoy is our sons coach...thats it. Also, I have talked to the manager of the front desk and the coaches about my concerns and nothing made a difference. So here goes our experience..... Everytime we come on Saturdays we are policed by the front desk. Yelled at and reminded literally EVERY. SINGLE. SATURDAY. That we cannot watch our son in class. They say you have access to the "online" portal....I've asked 3 times for help and STILL cannot get access...so that's a joke. And I am not talking about being on the mat with our son, I am talking about being upstairs in the OBSERVATION area to watch our son. Yes, we cannot WATCH our son in the OBSERVATION area. It went from you and your husband can watch him to only one parent to NO one is allowed now. I feel discriminated against as my husband and I sit outside to wait for our son as OTHER parents are welcomed inside. I have pictures of these instances and videos as well. We are not helicopter parents by all means but when the front desk literally says hello, and good morning to everyone but you and your husband (I am not white by the way) it makes you feel unwelcome and discriminated against everytime. I even got screamed at for coming downstairs to let my husband in because they locked the door specifically when I was in there for the second time, mind you there WAS one other parent upstairs stating he didn't think that was necessary for the front desk to yell at me for that. She even had the nerve to call her manager on this day to say that I was rude and blah blah blah....ALL while I was upstairs listening to her complain and tell lies about me (yes I could hear her entire conversation, not good customer service at all) The following Saturday I was watched like a hawk as I came in to get my son 5 minutes before they were done and was reminded that no parents were allowed, as I waited for my son on this day an older white lady came from upstairs because she got to watch her grandson who was 5 as well WITHOUT being policed. Today was the same situation, doors locked and my husband and I had to sit outside while other were welcomed inside. So after continuous harassing, discrimination, rude comments to myself and my husband we have decided this is the last straw. We tried as our son does love his coach but this is too much. I am appalled and very much disappointed at the people who run this gym. Rude, unprofessional and discriminating individuals work here. I have tried to hope for a different outcome with these people but every Saturday we bring our son it gets worse. I have anxiety coming here and I should not feel that way on our days off for something WE pay for. Ridiculous. So if you want rude customer service, high turn over for coaches and being harassed because your not a certain ethnicity or apart of a rich community....this is the place for you. I will take our buisness somewhere else where we are appreciated as customers and parents. I know this review will not make a difference but hopefully this helps at least one couple turn the other way to think about another facility. read more

I intentionally sign up my kid for beginner two and how did they move my kid to beginner 1 without my permission. Even though the coach tell me that my kid is not ready, but I told the coach I want my kid to try some class if she can do it. Also I was referral from Parker rec and that was recommended by Parker rec coach that she can try beginner 2. If my kid tries one more class and feel is difficult, I will make the arrangement. Moving her to next different level and not inform the parent is not acceptable. I finally realize why the system keep charging me fee because they make the arrangement without telling the parent and they mess up the default payment system set up for my account. When I contacted them about my account, I was letting it go since I feel the staff have been helpful to fix their error and try to find out but it is really unacceptable when the manager called me telling me that I yell at the staff. Wow, you the manager and you are unprofessional to deal with mistakes at your end. The call from the manager is unnecessary and I wasn't plan to disenroll my kid until the last call I feel she is mean, disrespectful and racists. This center really know how to lose client and client's faith. read more

Very disappointed in the service we received from the manager of the facility. Ms. Donna is a great teacher and the reason I'm giving a 2 star review. We recently had a family emergency and will not be gone for almost an entire month. I contacted them as soon as I found out and asked if they could just hold the tuition for when we return. The manager had no sympathy for the situation we were in and offered open gym passes. I take full responsibility for no attending classes when we are on vacation or have other activities, but this was a family emergency and they were unwilling to accommodate. I worked for this gym for 2 weeks and we mutually determined that this was not going to be a good fit because of my more competitive coaching background and style. After I left, they determined that they would not pay me as an employee but that I was an independent contractor. Now, here we are 6 weeks later and I have yet to be paid by this gym. I have requested multiple times that one of the 6 owners give me a call, and in 6 weeks they have still not managed to even attempt to contact me. read more

Every young gymnast starts out with simple and fun tumbling and bouncing around. They eventually learn, grow and move up to more difficult and, well, scary skills. Safety is my absolute number one priority in regards to my daughter and her gymnastics. This all boils down to the coach. You have to trust the coach, and you have to trust the coach way more than just their ability to spot your gymnast. You have to trust they've developed the strength in the gymnast and taught the right muscle memory before the gymnast even attempts the full on skill. The current coaches here do just that. They're amazing. They're more than amazing. But, just like the previous coaches, they're being treated absolutely terrible by the management and owners. Coaching turnover here is a huge problem - in so many ways. For me and my gymnast, we will not support another cycle of coaches. Our daughters safety and growth depends on us putting her in an environment that is safe, stable and supportive. Becky read more

From a working mom perspective, this place is great. They had lots of of evening options for my 3 year old and 5 year old. The facility is brand new and has many viewing areas for parents to watch. They even have free wifi and a quiet room for those parents needing to get some work done. So far we are very impressed with the facility and staff! read more

Clean gym, wonderful staff and excellent coaches! My daughter has been coming to Momentum Athletic Center for 1 year and is currently in the Intermediate gymnastics class. I feel that the coaches truly put my daughter's safety as their number one priority and care about her gymnastics progression.
