The beauty of this studio is the number of classes they offer and the fact that in every class you get to be on the Pilates reformer. They offer classes early a.m - p.m during the week and a.m classes only on weekends. Each class is 50 min long and a total body workout using the reformer and accessories. Memebers also get to pick out cute socks with grips, because they are required. If you upgrade to an Unlimited package, you can book the most classes in advance on their app. Which is helpful, since a lot of the classes fill up quickly. The Club Pilates app works really well, it reminds you when your class is, when to check in, and how many classes you've attended. Etc. My favorite instructor so far is Haley Rose.

My only gripe with this particular location is that the morning classes can feel like a geriatric high school - very cliquish - and if you aren't part of the social club, you are overlooked. I've had women try to stake claim over certain reformers and act territorial if you happen to take "their" reformer. Overall, it's been helpful though for my joint pain, so I continue to forge on and try to put the blinders on and relax for the quick 50 minute classes.

She even worked with my treating physician to secure medical insurance coverage for 30 private sessions! Lourdes goes above and beyond to care for her clients, many of whom she considers to be friends. She has clients that have been with her for 8 and 10 years, and after only 4 months, I understand their loyalty. I knew PT wasn't making me stronger, but I didn't know what I could reasonably expect from Pilates. Lourdes has slowly and steadily helped me build strength and flexibility in a safe, supervised way that doesn't add to my injury. She checks in frequently to make sure I'm okay after a session that was particularly challenging, and she makes me feel so empowered (yep, just like the name of her business) when I can execute a particular exercise or do something that demonstrates progress. I truly appreciate how professional she is - her dedication to continuous learning and trainings that allow her to keep up with new techniques and best practices. Lourdes always wants what is best for her clients. On top of being exceptionally good at what she does, she happens to be one of the loveliest humans. When my 70-year-old mother visited ABQ, Lourdes invited her to join a session and showed such care to make her feel comfortable while getting a good workout. I've never met anyone like Lourdes, and after years of PT, I feel like Pilates is actually improving my quality of life - physically and mentally. I look forward to each session with Lourdes. I was told to park in the garage for free, but I ended up getting a ticket. When I brought it up, they told me there was a specific section I should have parked in -- but assured me they would take care of the ticket. Fast forward to today, I received a notice in the mail saying my payment is late and that my car could be towed if I don't pay. I'm now stuck paying a ticket I was told would be handled, and I'm frustrated to be getting collection warnings over something that should have been resolved. This whole experience has been such a letdown. I'll definitely be avoiding Club Pilates studios moving forward.

During your session they assess your skin and let you know what they are doing and using. It's so calming that I often find myself falling asleep by the end of it. They have private tubs you can reserve for an hour if that's more the vibe you are feeling, but you can also use the hot tub before or after your appointment to soak which is so relaxing. I do appreciate the touches of tea kettles and tea in the lounge area that are complimentary. They also have snacks and other things if you are there longer. Remedy is such a sweet serene spot right in the university area that you'd kinda forget where you are because it's so peaceful while experiencing it, and that's why I can't recommend Emily and Remedy enough.
