Momo Ashi has three locations across New York: Bell Blvd in Bayside, 45th Ave in Flushing, and Roosevelt Ave in Woodside. My friend and I visited Momo Ashi on Bell Blvd on a Thursday evening. It wasn't crowded at all so my friend and I asked the staff member for her recommendations and took our time looking at the menu. After ordering, we sat at one of the tables. There are high tops and regular tables. The staff member was friendly and our food and drinks didn't take too long to come out. I ordered the brown sugar pearls with fresh milk ($5.80) and two mini wamochi (earl grey and matcha redbeans) ($2.90). The brown sugar pearls with fresh milk reminded me of Tiger Sugar brown sugar boba milk tea. It was sweet and the boba was fresh. The wamochi came out hot, fresh, and it was very soft. It had some flavor, but didn't really taste like earl grey. The matcha redbeans one had more flavor. The menu also offered onigiri, toast, and other Asian-inspired snacks. There is cute cat decor around the store. It was a nice place for my friend and I to catch up.
Shout out to the poor lady behind the counter who was working by herself. She kept it moving while still getting everyone's orders correct. The shop had cute decor decorated by cartoon pictures of puppies and kittens. We got an order of build your own wamochi. We got the ube waffle, sesame ice cream, and Oreo toppings. It was $7.40 with a15% discount. For the price it seems kind of small. It was half a waffle with two scoops of ice cream. That said the waffle was pretty good: warm and crunchy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside. The sesame ice cream had good sesame flavor and blended well with the waffle. The Oreo topping added another layer of texture. Glad we tried it.
Passing by and decided I wanted to get something to drink. When I walked in, a seller was selling trinkets by the door entrance. I finally decided on a Jasmine milk tea with less sugar and ice. After a few minutes, my drink was ready. Think I'm spoiled by other tea places that have a more stronger tea taste. They have a lot of cute cat kawaii decorations. There are 2 long hightop tables if you want to enjoy your drink or food. If you are nearby, go check them out.
Update 5/2022. The last few times we've been there the place is looking more and more dated. It just feels dirtier. And the outdoor seating area needs to go. The green outdoor carpet traps sewage. You can see it and smell it. It's horrendous. A total eyesore for the community. The manager/owner needs to clean this up. There's only ever teenagers working there. So I'm guessing the owner hasn't been around for a while. It's the store's responsibility to keep the sidewalk and curb area in front of your store clean, especially if you're offering outdoor seating on the street. Keep it clean and we will continue patronizing your store. But it hasn't been clean for quite a while. I wouldn't dare sit on those outdoor chairs while engulfed in that sewage stink. Thanks!
I've been missing their food and drinks since their Flushing location closed during the pandemic. I've been their loyal customer for like a decade (from ChaTime to Momo Ashi) I've seen them switch owners, business names, and a ton of staff during that time span. It was like my second home. I would buy drinks when I arrive in Flushing and when I leave to go back home. Their staff has met my family and many of my friends and ex boyfriends (yes, i was there that much lol) This location don't have all the specials and promotions that I'm used to their Flushing location. But the staff still honored my many....Many...stamped cards, so I got to redeem a bunch of free drinks that I had been saving up. My best friend got me hooked on their earl grey mochi waffle paws and the addiction is real lol This location is so much bigger, so pink, and adorably decorated. The seating is such a bonus. I was informed there's other locations opened or pending grand opening near me, to fill the void of my previous norm. So I can't wait ! Love always - (and Hi Stella ! if you're still working at any of the locations hahaha) And thank you Fiona for remembering me, it was heart warming to see a familiar face.
Yes this is a bubble tea and snack joint but I come here for the funky art I could look at those silly dogs and cats all day. The decor is truly a gem That being said, the drinks I've tried here are great. I love the mango yakult drink especially. Other go-tos of mine like Thai iced tea and peach/passion fruit/lychee green tea are also good here. The onigiri is bland but I'm not sure if that's how onigiri normally is. Price wise this place is on the cheaper side for a bubble tea joint - somewhere between 5-7 for most drinks. I got a large drink for 5.50
Passed by accidentally after lunch because was attracted by the decor. Service are quick and cashier was friendly, she recommended that as Asian adults, they often ask for 50% sugar instead of full. Tried the drink, she was right. Sugar level was about right. Tried their marshmallow toast, was delicious. Will definitely come back for more.

I've come here twice to get takeout. Everything here tastes pretty good and very affordable compared to other places nearby. Bubble Tea: We tried their Taro Milk Tea & Green Apple Green Tea - The taro bubble tea was one of the best I've tried, it wasn't too chalky or artificial tasting like other places. Green apple tasted good as well however it definitely tastes artificial & I would recommend only doing half the sweetness level! Food: I got the Mo-Nigiri Crab and the Crab + Pork Floss. Both were delicious and came with a decent amount of filling. We also ordered the Kimchi Pawnini with beef meat ball. The Pawnini was a lot smaller than I was expecting, it's definitely not enough to eat for dinner. The kimchi with the beef was savory, not sure if I would get it again. Dessert: WaMochi - I tried the Strawberry Wamochi since they were sadly out of Earl Gray. It's basically a mochi waffle, tastes on par with other places I've tried. It wasn't anything too special. A regular wamochi is $3 andyou can try the minis $1 for $1 or 2 for $2. I would like to come back and try to the Earl Gray next time. read more

Pretty decent place for their dessert like the matcha strawberry toast and mochi waffles (wamochi). The drinks are average. I've tried their taro milk tea, matcha red bean slush, and Jasmine green tea. The jasmine green tea was pretty good, the rest was ok but would not recommend the slush. read more
A super cute bubble tea and dessert spot! If I were to ever describe any business as "kawaii" this would be it. Their prices are also a bit more affordable compared to other competitors. I had the strawberry slush with boba and my sister got the brown sugar with fresh milk. I liked the flavor of hers better, but her boba was tougher to chew than the one in my drink. I will have to come back to try their mochi waffles! read more
I really like their prices almost as much as I love their mochi waffles! Everything is super affordable and not overpriced. The place itself is adorable with a cute pink paw theme. There is plenty of seating available and perfect to hang out in. Their mochi waffles are a lot better than any mochi donut out there. It's so stretchy and chewy and not overly sweet. I tried the original which was my favorite, almost a little eggy like a jiggly pancake. The chocolate one tasted like the coco puffs cereal. They have other flavors I'm dying to try too. I got their Nutella toast for only $4 or $5. They give you a giant serving so its perfect to share. I think the toast could be buttered more so its more crispy and less dry. Or drizzle it with a syrup to moisten it up more. They have little paw nini sandwiches that I think are sooo cute. I feel like kids would love this place. I tried the tuna one which was a little too sweet for my liking. It didn't have a mayo base like I'm used to with tuna but so stinking adorable. read more
Can't get over how adorable this location is! Very spacious and sprawling location compared to the one in Flushing. There's free wifi and a ton of seating room so I could totally see myself studying/working here. There's a ton of new items on the menu such as Onigiris and Marshmallow Toast and of course their famous Wamochi. They had a special running for 1 medium (16 oz) tea and a onigiri of your choosing for only $5. They're made to order and the raw spicy tuna I ordered tasted fresh and delicious. We used to love going to Momo Ashi for wamochis. It was my favorite snack and we used to come all the time till we moved. Forward a year, and your wamochis look like this. One lump is the new brown sugar pearl wamochi. The other mush is labeled regular wamochi but I think it's supposed to be earl grey because that's what we ordered. The one that looks like a waffle is the regular wamochi which looks okay. This is pretty disgusting. We waited 20 minutes for 5 wamochis and we got ones that look like this. Not 100% sure how an establishment can let a customer walk out with this. How unfortunate, never again. read more

Never venture out for bubble tea. Usually go to Kung fu tea or coco tea. Tried this place and love it! We had brown sugar tea and matcha latte tea. Also got to try mini wamuchi. Oh em gee. It's like a mochi waffle and the mini is perfect portion. We ate it in the car while it was nice and hot. Tried original and chocolate. Sooo good read more
This place is a cute cafe to get your bubble tea. I came in the afternoon and they only had one person to take orders. It seemed like he could've really used a hand to make the teas and also man the cashier. Bubble tea was good. read more

After trying the Momo Ashi in Flushing, I was excited to try their Brown Sugar in Bayside. Staffs are so nice and service are 10/10. The brown sugar is a little bit sweet for me. But is okay I already try one from the other store so I already know what it will come. The drinks are good and boba are good to chewing. I cost about $5+ for regular drink. The line sometimes long , so probably have to wait. Even though Bell Blvd got so many bubble tea places now, I still love momo the best. I guess it's because of their cute names for the food and cute cat and dog! I will definitely come again to get some snacks like wamochi(taste better than before), pawnini(my brother is so in love with it). read more

We just move to this neighborhood and the mo mo ashi are the one of my favorite boba tea store ,the store is clean and the tea is awesome !!The golden boba !! And the staff are friendly too. Also offer the stamp card to me. It's seems like we have to try to get more stamp from here now. read more
First of all, this is just the cutest little place. Very clean and the service was really good. The employees are super nice and explain things to you if you are a first timer like I was. Someone had told me to get the waffle but as soon as my daughter saw marshmallow toast on the menu it was over. I wasn't really sure what to expect of course there was a picture but I never thought it would look exactly like the picture.; it DID. It took about 10 minutes for them to make the toast and we ordered passionfruit bubble tea which you can decide which level of sugar you'd like. You can add just a little or a lot. When our order came out, it was in the cutest little box with a pink fork and knife and the bubble tea has a really cool cover on top so that it doesn't spill. It was pretty reasonably priced at $4 for the marshmallow toast and about $3 for the bubble Tea. But the best part besides the cute decor which is all about these cute cats was the taste. OMG delish!!! But a tip, early in the day for the Marshmallow toast, to give you or your kids time To come down from the sugar Rush! Cant wait for our next visit. So our next visit was just as good. My daughter tried the Hawaiian fruit bubble tea and Oreo toast. I tried the WaMochi in Matcha and red bean and I am Dying to try the other flavors now. read more

Momo Ashi is the best in Winston! I come here alot to buy boba for the work week and the quality and flavor of thier Jasmine Green Tea is outmatched. The staff is really friendly and super helpful .Today the team recommended the Lycee green tea and it was AMAZING, probably going to be my new go-to flavor for a while. It's also a really nice place to study in and had a good amount of outlets for laptops. read more

Sadly - no more 2 for $7 deal. The marshmallow toast was perfect. It's good to cut it into 9 squares and share. It's layed out in fridge fashion so it's easy to cut. Toast was warm - the middle was soft while the outside was crisp. And the marshmallow was toasted nicely. I went for the 14oz drink and marshmallow toast combo for $6. The 14oz drink came in this cute cup with rounded bottom. Grass Jelly was good. Cute place. Fun for pictures. We came right before they closed (9:40pm) and the staff were not mad about it. It may have been because the owner was there. read more

If you know me, you know I'm a loyal bubble tea fanatic. My wife and 2 year old insisted I bring them to MOMO Ashi because the place is cute and pink, so of course I agreed. Yes, the place has pretty pink walls and plenty of seats. The menu is very limited with a selection of waffles (wamochi) and toast with toppings. I decided to try the caramel Milk tea with bubbles. The bubble tea was just ok, I've had much better. We ordered the marshmallow toast and original 2 wamochi's. The toast wa a bit too sweet for my liking. My daughter of course loved the sugar rush. The wamochi was much more pleasant, it's like a sweet buttery and gooey waffle (sounds weird but tastes so good). The wamochi is def our favorite item from this place, we've also tried the match and earl gray wamochi and they are all pretty good. Chocolate would be our least favorite. My daughter loves them so much we went twice in a row and the second time the wamochis were actually out of stock, what a bummer! They should be a little more prepared being that they have such limited items, they shouldn't be running out of their most popular on a Sunday afternoon. We will continue to come here for the wamochi and of course the pink walls. read more

Cute adorable Popular bubble tea place. I love their cute decor and how they presented their products. We ordered banana and taro milk tea with bubble. You can customize the sweetness of your bubble tea. The staff was generous and gave us a lot of bubbles. The tea was good and very milky texture. We didn't order the combo deal, but they have combos deal is 6.00, which includes milk tea and a pawmini. It was spacious and lots of seating available. Next time I would like to try the wamochi/toast. read more
When I first saw Momo Ashi, I thought "wow, what a cute place" but I'm all about how good the tea taste and the food. I like that there are combos here, which makes you gravitate toward the combos rather than just ordering one item. You can control your sugar and ice levels just like most modern bubble tea place nowadays. I really enjoy their WaMochi, which comes in several flavors and two sizes, regular and mini. All at an affordable cost. Momo Ashi also does reward cards so don't forget to get a stamp. This is not my go to for bubble tea, but their WaMochi definitely has my heart for snacks. read more
First time trying this place since I'm usually drinking boba in Manhattan. Upon entering, the environment was very cute with a lot of cartoon drawings on the walls and the lighting was dimmed a bit. There were two guys working when I visited and they were both really friendly. I ordered the Thai Iced Tea with bubbles. At most places I go to, they usually have a machine to shake up the drink, but here they did it by hand. The Thai Iced Tea was already pre-made so I had my doubts about the taste/quality. My drink came in a cute cup and after taking a few sips, I was pretty impressed. The drink wasn't too sweet and the bubbles had enough chewiness to them. Compared to other places, I think the taste and quality are pretty similar! I would definitely come back here to try other things, especially the waffles they make (I heard they're pretty good). read more

Ate indoors during COVID. The Oreo thick toast was good but could have used a bit more condensed milk and Oreo crumbles. The mochi waffles were served hot and were delicious. Would be perfect with black coffee or a cup of milk. read more

I came here to catch up with a few of my friends for a snack and I just expected it to be a cute cafe, but it also offered so many good combo deals and food! First off, the interior is super cute with cat decor all over the place and it is definitely an Instagram addict's place to go. As for the dessert and drinks, it was surprisingly really good too! I got 3 combo deals ($4.99, $5.99, $6.99) which came with a 16 oz drink+ wamochi/ monigiri, a drink+ pawnini/ toast, a drink+ 2 monigiris. It was all SO worth it and cheap! Definitely will be back for more goodies and cute pics :) read more

Adorable cuties little bubble tea store. I love their store ambience relax and cool. The space is big enough so people can sit and relax while the service is great as well. I love their special drink that came with reusable cup and free mini Momo Ashi's bag. Oh! Almost forget to mention how much I love Strawberry Matcha Mashmellow toasted that was so awesome. read more
Bubble tea craving? I came here because I had a craving bubble tea and I didn't expect much from Bell Blvd, Bayside. However, I was wrong! I've been to flushing place couple of times and it was okay. However, the tea here was not water down! I got 30% sugar and it had hint of sweetness... just the way I like it! This place is spacious as well as cute (surrounded by cats)! Looooove this place! So cute! Took my boys for bubble tea and marshmallow toast. I had the milk tea with pearls- excellent and less expensive than Great Neck bubble tea. I had the original wamochi - which is like a mixture of a mini waffle with mochi flour. Not too sweet- looking forward to trying the other flavors. Now the marshmallow toast is REALLY sweet so I recommend sharing it if you get it. They also have "monigiris " which is an onigiri- many flavors and healthier snack than all the sweet stuff on the menu. My kids loved it. Can't wait to go back! read more
I've seen this place in flushing a few times and tried their bubble tea once. I thought it was ok but nothing outstanding. However, when I saw that they opened a Bell location (saw it through the QNS news emails), I decided to give it another chance. The interior here is super cute (especially if you like cats), clean, and even has a bathroom. I ordered the hot Thai tea and the tea was surprisingly strong and not watered down at all; perfectly sweet at regular sugar. I loved it. I got that with an onigiri(salmon) and also thought it was great; filled nicely with salmon (nothing else). There was a combo so I got both for $5.98 after tax (hot drinks are extra .50 with the combo) which is a pretty good deal these days! read more

Wow, this bubble tea is amazing. I can't remember the last time I had bubble tea this good. I got the Jasmine Milk Tea with tapioca, at 50% sweetness. I usually get 50% sweetness because I don't like sugary drinks, so this was the perfect medium for me. They use the golden tapioca pearls that aren't dyed, which definitely taste better than the black dyed pearls. The jasmine tea flavor was strong and not watered down, unlike what is usually done at most other tea places. There is also a promotion going on where a lot of large drinks with pearls are 2 for $7 - what a great deal. I would definitely recommend giving this place a try if you are a bubble tea connoisseur! They also have desserts and onigiri! read more

4 stars for dessert, 3 stars for bubble tea This is a solid, affordable, and trendy dessert spot. They don't have many desserts, but the few options they do have, they make very well. Loved the texture of the wamochi. Would get again. The marshmallow toast also had excellent texture, but a tad too sweet. If you get the marshmallow toast with an unsweetened drink, would be perfect. Bubble tea is par. Nothing special, but I do have to commend them for cooking their pearls just right. Not too soft, not too chewy. read more

First time trying Momo Ashi and I'm pleasantly satisfied. The place is so cute that it's just such a welcoming atmosphere to enjoy with friends. I got a passion fruit bubble tea and it was exactly the taste I was hoping for. Next time I'm going to splurge and try some of their food because the place smelled so wonderful. read more
