I've been to the Bayside one many times but it's a first for this one. We were the only ones there on the Saturday afternoon. There's a kiosk to easily place your order with pictures of the menu items. I ordered the lychee milk tea with 80% sugar - I love that there are many sugar options ranging from 100%, 80%, 50% 30% to no sugar (I think). You really get to customize your drink. I always get the regular size, the large is too much for me. I wasn't going to order any food buuuut the ube wamochi caught my eye. $4 for a full size, it was ok! It's kinda like those waffles you make at a hotel continental breakfast except with mochi so maybe a little better. It was a nice afternoon snack. My mom got the jasmine milk tea with 50% sugar and strawberry and red mean mini wamochis and she finished quicker than me - safe to assume she also enjoyed. Service was quick and pleasant. read more

This is a perfect example of don't judge a book by its cover. Super unsuspecting place that doesn't look like anything much and honestly...looks a little sticky and dirty. But i trusted yelp and the reviews and took my chances and i'm so glad i did. I'm always in the mood for bubble tea. I got the aloe tea and it was so good! i was so surprised as I was not expecting much of anything but it hit the spot. The aloe was perfect, tea was flavorful but not too sweet, it was a perfect blend. If i'm back in the area, i can definitely see myself coming back. They also have rice balls and dessert but i was so full from lunch so settled on just the bubble tea. Definitely worth giving it a try! read more

A year ago, I gave this place 3 stars but this year I think they deserve 4. I just recently discovered that they are open pretty late (because this time I walked in late at night) and this piece of information is a games changer because I come to this area for food quite often whether it is Chinese skewers or Halal cart food or either of the Papa restaurants and now I have drink options. Granted, I still think the drinks from here are mid at best (still avoiding the boba milk tea) but I found that the non-dairy drinks are slightly more palatable. This time I ordered a Mango Yakult and I must say, I'm actually okay with it because it wasn't as sweet or artificial as I had anticipated - it just might be my Momo Ashi go-to order from now. The guy working at night is also friendly and fluent in English so that's a plus. read more

Oh my god lol. Stopped by this evening for drinks and mochi waffles and saw the biggest cockroach in my entire LIFE crawling thru the store. It crawled up onto a chair and I managed to snap a picture right before this thing FLEW onto the table. I couldn't stomach the rest of my waffle and we promptly left. Please treat your indoor dining customers as the same as your delivery customer. I was impressed and thrilled that you guys have $6 combo for customers, a drink and a waffle. That's why I loved you guys so much and recommended my friends to come after my first purchase on Saturday. But today I ordered the delivery, you gave me something less than a half of a waffle and charged me the same amount of money. I'm not worried or sad because of the money, I'm real sad because of your way of treating delivery customers. So according to delivery app panda , they said in order to get the same size drink and waffle, I need to pay $11, which is 75% more than what I paid in store. So if the owner think that's reasonable I have no say. But that's not fair to consumers. I totally understand the price on the delivery app may be different from the price in-store. In fact, Momo Ashi isn't and will not be the only one place to do that. The reason behind it is because of the higher commission rate taken from delivery app and higher price of commodities. Additionally, due to rat race between several platforms, Momo Ashi has been forced to do big promotion like 80% off on the app in order to attract new customers. Please calculate it. I can't understand people who take the advantage of promotion and talk about how the price change at the same time? No restaurants want to deceive customers when delivery prices are so obviously displayed on the app. But can customers understand restaurant owners? Have customers ever think about the price they paid on the food delivery app, only 50% is about what restaurants can receive? I mean please, if you support and love the food, choose whatever the way you like to purchase the food, but not affecting other's opinions while taking the advantage by yourself. You can simply understand in this way. Some restaurants have their special happy hour meal that they specially provided for in-store customers. Are those restaurants have happy hour are unfair to delivery customers? Or you think that every restaurant should put their happy hour on food delivery app? I went in today for bubble tea and i was very upset because they apparently dont have matcha lattes although its on the menu??? Dont know how that makes sense, and then the worker there had a snappy attitude which i did not appreciate. Almost every time i go service is fast and smooth but i was just left unpleasant dont go at night- closing time or they will neglect your service compared to going during the day time. Maybe the workers are too young and thats why they think they can act that way... but thats not okay. Tried it for the first time today. This location is advertising combo deal for 6. The combo includes a 16 oz drink however I received a smaller size. Be sure to check with the workers that they are giving you the drink size you are paying for. The wamochi was an odd shape and does not even have the design shown in the advertising photos for the dessert. The Marshmallow toast is supposed to have some sort of creamy coconut spread included however what I received was just marshmallow and chocolate drizzle on dry bread. Maybe more training for the employees would help this location. One of the workers was at a table hanging out with two people and giving one a shoulder massage. I tipped before checking what was handed to me. So that's unfortunate. read more

Make sure u speak the language very dishonest worker. Not looking for refund was trying to change the order but they so worry so they have to lie about how many waffle they already made. Disgusting! Was so happy when this place opened because we have no bubble tea place around the hospital. Unfortunately they take too many online orders more than they can handle. I always come here and is really sad to make this review. So today I came and ordered my usual combo, my receipt was printed at 1:45pm. I sat down and checked my phone while waiting. I stood up after almost 10 minutes to find out that they haven't started the 3 items I ordered ( two bubble teas and onigiri). And when I asked about it, they said they're gonna make it in a little while which I refused. I told them I understand they have a lot of online orders but they cannot finish all those orders before making my order, they need to take turns doing online and in person orders. One delivery guy was a little upset too because he had to wait. I think they should know how to pause the online ordering when they have too much in their hands already like how The Alley (a really good bubble tea place in Prince St. in Flushing) does it. read more

The food and drinks here are pretty decent and possibly what saved it from being one star. I don't like judging on service alone but this is still an experience id like to share. The first time i went i ordered 30 minutes in advance (4 mochi waffles) but even after i got there still ended up waiting 10 more minutes. Little absurd despite not having other customers in there. Second time left a bigger impact. I ordered 3 waffles and 2 drinks about 25 minutes before getting there. However the server couldn't even find my order and in the end i guess they figured it out. I might as well have ordered in person. When i asked about it the server gave me attitude and i felt kinda offended given that i don't think i was in the wrong. Im not sure if ill come back a third time. But this is just a word of caution to people who order through yelp. You're better off ordering in person or using another app. read more
