The fresh deli selection of cheeses and antipasto is too tempting to resist, as is the selection of fine cold meats. Gourmet meal options include fresh pasta, delicious sauces, organic soups and a selection of fine ice cream. Of course artisan bread is also on offer. Prices here are a little on the expensive side but you expect that when you're buying boutique.

That said, for such a tiny space the selection of imported and gourmet goods is incredible. I know I can always stop by to grab some quality fruit and veg, and the brands stocked are more small batch varieties compared to what you'll find at mainstream supermarkets. This is a great place to pop into for picnic goods before heading down to Bradfield Park by the harbour - in the fridge you'll find Yulla dips and mini dessert pots (the vanilla yoghurt and chocolate mousse combo is a personal fave), Nudie smoothies and organic soft drinks; behind the deli counter, a solid selection of olives and cured meats that they'll slice to order for you; and they have a rotating selection of homemade-looking cakes and tarts. By the bread loaves you'll find kourabiethes (those little Greek crescent shaped cookies covered in icing sugar) and triangles of baklava packaged in pairs, which offers a great easy and cheap dessert option for two.

But she put me on to Delicado and I am now forever in her debt because of it. No longer do I have to drive over the bridge (to THE DARK SIDE) to get kick-ass Spanish, I just have to schelp down Blues Point Road, a strip sunnier and entirely more optimistic than its name might suggest. The brunch wins (and by wins I'm talking 10-nil drubbings, not lousy little 1-0 barely-wins): 1. Huervos Paellaras, baked eggs cooked in an iron skillet with chorizo and tomato sofrito. 2. House-made baked white beans with kipfler potato and asparagus 3. Cafe de tiempo - black coffee gently sweetened over ice with lemon. Wins, I tell you! Now I just need to come back for lunch, supper, dinner and late supper.

Ben spends a few months every year in Spain sourcing the best produce and staying current with trends. When you eat at his establishment you're gaining that passion and energia - not just a plate a food. You could order anything at random on the menu and not be disappointed. FWIW my go-to dishes are crispy-skinned pork belly, zucchini flowers, chorizo finished with churros con dulce de leche y chocolate. Wash it down with an Estrella, Ambar or a refreshing sangria (white sangria in summer). Moechtar also runs wine appreciation classes and there's an excellent attached liquor shop so you can take something home with you. Cheaper than a trip to Spain, just as tasty and no worry about jet lag or shlepping through Customs.

They have a great cheese selection including a lot of imported cheese that I haven't seen anywhere else. The hot sauce selection is great including my latest favorite: Cholula. Lots of olive oils and their deli has great stuff too. Lots of different things for an antipasto plate. They are one of the first places in Sydney to bring in Clamato juice - which if you don't know is a key ingredient in the vodka-based drink called a Caesar. It is a bit pricey but worth it! The staff are also very helpful and let you try sample the cheeses before you buy. Highly recommended but bring your money. It is pricey but worth every cent.

This place is filled to the bring with random items. So if you need a break away from the seafood or just need some ideas on sauces to cook your seafood in - this would probably be the spot. Only got coffee and that was good.

Our drinks were out in 3-5 minutes and our food was out within about 5-7 minutes after. As soon as we finished we were given our checks to pay at the front. I think we were here for only 45 minutes and it was amazing! I started out with the iced strawberry matcha and my husband had their iced mocha. The iced mocha was good but the iced strawberry matcha was flawless. The strawberries were so fresh and the matcha was just perfect itself. Great combo together! My husband had the free range eggs on toast and I had the eggs Benedict. His was delicious but the eggs Benedict was amazing. The crispy kale really sold me as it was delectable in each bite. Eggs were poached to perfection and the truffle hollandaise was just delicious. Couldn't have had a better experience if we tried!

For a larger party, coming in with a reservation was convenient since they are pretty busy and change tables often. Service staff were efficient and very friendly. Ordering was easy as well. Their seasonal specials is definitely worth the look over. I had the peanut butter shake and although it didn't look it, it tasted very much like peanut butter in liquid form. I also got to try the summer breeze watermelon salad. That was refreshing. It had a mix of greens, dressing, feta and a crisp prosciutto. I've never had prosciutto served fried; it was delicious. The whole piece married well, and I wish I knew the background of how it was created. I loved every bite! Although the place was crowded, it can still be intimate. Besides indoor seating, they also have a patio and seating outside.
