The food woulda been fine with just the regular Indian food. But then you add in Momo's and everything taste even better. I love dumplings in just about any culture I think. Even the Russian ones I had in Portland were super interesting and flavorful. And don't get me wrong. The Paneer Tikka Masala and Lamb Korma were tasty enough. But the Momo's really sealed the deal this time. We ordered from this place from DoorDash a couple weeks ago and I almost wish we didn't order Naan. It just felt like it kinda got in the way. Why dip a Naan in Masala when you can dip a Momo in it? Whatever combination of vegetables were in these delectable dumplings were divine. I feel like I tasted like a combo of potatoes with carrots and lots of fun herbs. Maybe Ginger? But then just dip if in your favorite saucey entree of choice and it just completes the meal. It definitely makes me want to eat more Nepalese food. I highly recommend this to anyone remotely curious about trying the Momos.

Food packaging needs to be more secure especially for DoorDash deliveries. The current packaging is not secure enough.

Back again for great Nepalese food - we had the goat curry, steamed chicken Momos, the chicken tikka masala, and the bengan bharta, and basil garlic naan. The goat curry was super tasty as was the naan. The chicken tikka was good, as always and the bengan bharta was a nice change. Momos tasted extra good this time. This place really sends out lots of to go orders but don't overlook a visit to eat in.

A year ago I'd have given this restaurant 5 stars. Unfortunately, the quality has degraded considerably while the prices are $4-$5 higher than other Indian & Nepalese restaurants in the area. I'm not an authority on Nepalese and Indian food, but I've been to Nepal and South India a few times and have been ordering from Momo N Curry since it opened. Today's order had stale naan (which included garlic naan). They tasted like a day-old reheated. The Tandoori shrimp had several tiger prawns not cleaned properly (you can see giant disgusting streaks). The goat buthuwa was the only dish that was somewhat flavorful and decent. To make matters worse the portion sizes were smaller and the rice boxes were only about 3/4 filled. I understand commodity prices have gone up, but quality should never be sacrificed. I wouldn't mind paying for an excellent dish. Never going back and it pains me to ditch this business because I think it is family-owned and the staff is really nice.

I have never been in person, but I DoorDash from them all the time and the food is hands down AMAZING. I will never be able to get over this place this is the BEST comfort food

Came here on a Friday evening for dinner and we were surprised how empty it was. However, as the evening went by there seemed to be people slowly trickling in. Also, alot of people getting takeout. The place is very spacious with interesting decor. Servers are very friendly and attentitive as well. We ordered the steamed veggie momo which came with some orange dipping sauce - pretty flavorful and not spicy. The momo dumplings were also a good size, enough to share between two people with another entree. We also ordered the paneer tikka masala - cottage cheese cubes in tikka masala sauce. This went well with the garlic naan. Their naan is also pretty good, a bit crunchy on the outside but still warm and chewy on the inside. Overall, pretty solid place to get some authentic nepalese food.

Been here twice and the food is always great! However we only do takeout but the flavor maintains and my favorite item is the aloo saag. We usually get garlic and regular naan and the pieces are HUGE. The chicken tikka masala is also very nice and saucy and doesn't have a watery consistency. Overall their service is great and the food is better, and I definitely recommend coming here! Their momo dumplings are also yummy :)

I used to love this place and ordered from here regularly. But during a recent order, the food arrived leaking and the containers were partially melted. While I understand that accidents can happen, what really disappointed me was the owner's response--rude and unprofessional, they blamed us instead of taking any responsibility. Completely unacceptable service. I won't be ordering from here again See picture of the melted box. Made me reevaluate if I was eating plastic letched in my food-given the box literally

Overall decent food and plenty of seating space to enjoy lunch/dinner. Really liked the fresh lemonade that they offered. Their chicken chowmein was my fav and momos were decent. The service was fast and we got our food in less than 10 mins after ordering.

I haven't had Indian food in quite some time and I had seen this place over and over but never bothered to check it out. Typically I would just go to Naan and Curry, but the wait, weird seating, and bad parking there always threw me off, and kind of pushed me away, hence why I hadn't had Indian food in a while. If you're debating on eating here don't, just do it. You will not be disappointed. I gave it a 4/5 as it is quite expensive. read more

We ordered dinner last night through grubhub for Momo N Curry. After waiting for quite some time, I get a call from the owner Sam notifying me that my order has been ready to be picked up from my driver for an hour now, and that he wanted to let me know because I am his customer. Sam was apologetic for my delayed driver even though it wasn't his fault! This customer service alone will keep me as a customer for years and years to come! And even though our food was a bit cold, it was still as delicious as can be!!! Thank you Sam!!! read more

My review of Momo N Curry is long overdue... so here it goes! My parents and I have been craving for Indian food and so I did some search on Yelp and voila!, we decided to go to Momo n Curry and we were not disappointed. The place is pleasant and we were greeted with a smile from their staff. They have a good selection of food in their menu. We went for chicken tikka masala, lamb korma, shrimp curry & garlic naan. All of our orders were delish but my bias is the chicken tikka masala & garlic naan. They go well together and can't get enough of them! I won't hesitate to recommend this restaurant to family & friends! I actually ordered to go the week after we first ate at Momo N Curry. That's how good and delicious the food are in this restaurant! Stopped by for early dinner. Good food! Liked taste, consistency of preparation and, serving size. Chef stopped by to check about how was everything as well. I just got back from eating here and was dying to write a review on this place because it was just so great. Momo n Curry is a hidden gem. Right off of Clayton road, it is hidden in a small lot and if you don't pay attention, you'll miss it! Service: AMAZING and very welcoming! The owner Sam is one of the coolest and friendliest people you will ever meet. He is talkative, welcoming, and makes you feel like you are at home. His love for food and people really shows through the way he talks. I could really see his values in life just by talking to him for 2 hours. He doesn't have a waiter to help, it is just him for now and he makes sure you are satisfied! Food: BEST indian I have ever had and trust me, I have tried many many places. The curry isn't overwhelming and doesn't leave you extremely thirsty or queasy like some places do. I recommend the goat curry and meat grill plate. Pricing: It may seem pricy, but the curry comes with naan or rice! For 5 people, it was $80 and we tipped $20 because we had such a great time. Portions were a bit smaller than I would have hoped for and food took a while to come out. There was a moment where we were waiting for our food to arrive between dishes and it was just awkward hunger. Nevertheless, Sam made it up to us with a dessert and more naan! He obviously cares for his customers and his cuisine. I will definitely come again, bring my friends, and tell others about Momo n Curry. read more

I would put this place at about 3.5 stars, but will round up to 4 here. Apparently this restaurant opened approximately 7 weeks ago, and was receiving some high praise on my Nextdoor Neighbor group, so I thought it would be worth looking into. Service is a tad on the slow side, but forgivable, as it was about 3/4 capacity with only two servers - and I believe as well as the owner, bussing the tables. We tried the chili vegetable dumplings, which were really, really, REALLY good. It reminded me of Gobi Manchurian, sauce-wise. We tried the vegetable korma, matar paneer, and garlic naan after the tasty dumpling appetizer. Both of the curries were unfortunately underwhelming. The vegetable korma was pretty much 80% broccoli with a couple pieces of paneer, carrot, potato, and cauliflower, which is a huge no-no in my book. Broccoli is not normally added to traditional Indian curries, as its taste overpowers the dish. The rest of the ingredients were cooked, but still had a little firmness to them. The sauce is very basic and lacked any strong flavor. The matar paneer was okay, and pretty much follows the same lines as the korma did. Both curries were small portion-wise for the price. The garlic naan was a little oily, but decent. They make their's thick-style, which is what I prefer. Rice magically came with the meal, and it was cooked perfectly. Overall, there is room for improvement; since they technically just opened. The cuisine here is geared toward those that are new to Indian cuisine and/or the tamed-down Americanized version of it. This restaurant will fill that "new-to-Indian-food" niche in Concord, as places like Anarkali, Naan n' Curry, Swagat etc... offer traditional Indian cuisine with the heat and extensive flavor profile that might be a bit overpowering to those unfamiliar with it. We will try the place again, after giving it a little more time to iron out, but probably will explore more of the dumplings and non-Indian items offered instead. read more

This was THE best. It is hard to find as the GPS said make a U-turn and then it is on you RIGHT. I went round and round twice and it would have been handy to know it is tucked waaaay back (can't see from Clayton Rd) but in line with Dunkin Donuts and is at right angles to the thoroughfare!!! The service was grrrreat and polite. And the food delicious! I have stomach issues and when my son and DIL suggested this I balked but decided lots of Rolaids or Tums later would probably help. GUESS WHAT? Because I ordered "mild" which they adhered to, not only did I not have heartburn that usually does me in, but really chowed down and enjoyed it immensely. read more

Hard to find from the street but worth finding this place tucked away behind a Dunkin Donuts. Ordered the chili Momo with both chicken and veggies, samosa chat, baingan bharta(egg plant), and chicken tikka masala between 4 of us. Enjoyed the veggie Momo more than the chicken but the menus says they can be ordered both steamed and fried but the lady taking the order said that they only served fried Momo. Asked for the samosa chat to be spicy which they executed well and the chicken tikka masala was very delicious. Both in the gravy and the chicken. Most places can make a decent gravy but not everyone can cook the chicken as well while imbibing the spices and seasoning. Plus the chicken wasn't dry. Overall very well done chicken tikka masala. Place wasn't busy when we got here so wait time wasn't bad. read more

Delicious authentic Indian cuisine. The quality of the chicken in the Chicken Tikka Masala and lamb in the Lamb Bhuna , was succulent and tasty. We also had samosas. The pastry was crisp and the filling of potatoes and peas delicious! Some of the dishes might appear expensive, but the quality of meat is very good and so I feel this justifies the price. read more

This is a great new Indian/Nepali 's restaurant in Concord. I would have given 5 stars but they have very limited options for vegans. We had Chana (garbanzo beans) and Aloo Ghobi, Roti and samosa chat which they were able to make vegan. If you are vegetarian you have loads of options, but a restaurant with Momo in the name needs a vegan option please.... read more

Door dashed this for the first time and will definitely order from them again! Service was super fast and the food was hot and delicious. The chicken Tikka masala and lamb curry had so much yummy flavor, I can't stop eating. My husband and I usually have lunch dates at Indian buffets (swagat being our favorite) but haven't had any since Covid. I've been dying to try Indian food in this area and came across Momo N Curry , I ordered butter chicken, garlic naan and basmati rice. Super fast delivery, food was hot smelled delicious , tastes phenomenal !! I recommend to anyone who is curious, this is my new favorite restaurant and my new favorite food type! Wow I'm just lost for words...where has this food been all my life ?? Ordered the naans, daal and butter chicken.... First of all, naans were superdry and were feeling like I'm eating a rubber. Moreover, the daal was not only looking like colored water but also tasted like it had been sitting for 2 weeks. Furthermore, the butter chicken was only 5% chicken and 95% gravy. However, this location is closer to my house so I went there. Since, I'm never ordering the food from here again, I'm letting you guys know my experience. read more

If you don't mind working around bones, it's absolutely worth it. The garlic naan was really good, and they were generous with the portions. Soft, slightly chewy, and perfect for scooping up both curries. Two orders ended up being more than enough. The spinach samosas came as two large pieces. Even though it's only two, they're big and filling. Crispy outside with a flavorful spinach filling inside. I personally think everything needed some salt, but maybe it's meant to be this way. Highlight is most definitely the green sauce (yogurt and chili, not spicy), baklava (sweet sticky on the bottom and flaky crisp on top, not overly sweet), yogurt mint drink (dough). Shami beef and chicken kebab were juicy and not dry. Through a bit of miscommunication.. I was given the yogurt drink instead of the normal side of yogurt cucumber sauce for the meat, and was warned by Ali that some people don't like it since it's a yogurt drink with salt, but honestly it was great and was essentially a yogurt mint sauce I expect from other Mediterranean/Middle Eastern type places but more watery. So admittedly I just took sips of this while taking bites of the kebab and rice and it was pretty much the flavors I was looking for, but an extra step. Beef Mantu was another source of confusion since there are regular and homemade versions (I didn't realize). They made me the homemade version without confirming with me on the phone; no problem. If they want to compete, they should go to the places I mention. It's hard because that location has not had the best of luck. They had like 3-4 Korean restaurants closed before them. At some point the girl at the booth got up to go as well. Her backpack was under the table and their jackets were on the table. A host brought 3 young guys and a kid to the booth and MOVED this lady's stuff and seated them! I knew she'd be upset, so we waited. She came out with the kids and was mad. She told the people sitting there that this was her table and they basically looked at her like she was an old crazy lady. She told the staff and they pretty much did NOTHING. She stormed out and we did not see her again. I was very disappointed to see her treated this way, and surprise - she was a person of color, treated like she was not a valued customer. Ugh. What is going on here???

We walked in at 5:30pm and were immediately greeted by the lone female server, who seated us at a table towards to back of the restaurant. The interior was very clean, and lighting was soft and warm. The giant restaurant logos on the walls were prominently displayed. Their menu featured a wide array of appetizers, soups, bibimbaps, cold and hot noodles, meat dishes, etc. We opted against their signature kalbijjim and instead got three entrée combos (L.A. galbi, spicy pork, and bulgogi). Each entrée came with our choice of tofu soup. Half a dozen banchans were brought to us before the arrival of the entrées. The buchu (chives) and baechu (Napa cabbage) kimchi were excellent. Our food took about 15 minutes to arrive. Portion wise, the tofu soups were of decent size, but the meat entrées were kind of stingy (they were served in small round skillets). I had the seafood tofu soup and it was very good. It was loaded clams, shrimp, and squid. We shared the entrées, and they all tasted great. The only gripe I had was a couple pieces of the galbi had very little meat on them. Service we received was great. Our server was friendly, helpful, and efficient. The total was somewhere around $130 (with a bottle of soju, a tangerine slushy, and a soda). Overall, we all thought the food was good. Return trip very likely. 4 stars. This is the best Indian Nepalese food I have ever had. I have had the Shrimp Biryani and the Shrimp Korma and both were delicious and, both times, I had left overs for the next day. The food is prepared to order so you can pick your spice level (mild to extra hot) and you are guaranteed to get a piping hot meal. Service is friendly and attentive and they take the time to answer any questions you may have. And, speaking of service, while packing up my leftovers, Sam (one of the owners who was helping to serve) decided I did not have enough rice for the remainder of my Korma, so he went and added more rice to my takeout carton. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE HORRIBLE food. Worst Nepali food I have tasted. The food was frozen and was not heated properly. The meat smelt rotten and the rest tasted like as if it was in fridge for 2 months. The dishes was having too much of cream dairy to make it thick to a sickening extent. Delicious food! New favorite spot. Butter chicken was perfect! I like the creamy and sweet kind of butter chicken. A little on the sweeter side but still so good. Naan bread and Tandoori chicken were so good! I will definitly order again. read more
