The server is very sweet and generous! She gave us extra papadum which was ADDICTING. We ordered momos, chicken biryani, garlic naan, and beef korma. I LOVED the chicken biryani and garlic naan. The portions were also huge :D I keep talking about this place with my friends and definitely want to go back!!! Very low key restaurant and good for groups less than 4.

Bad service and not the greatest food the butter chicken was sweet and garlic naan was dry They also keep the vegetables and sauces (in a large open bucket) right outside the bathroom which seems unsanitary!

I had a craving for momos and decided to try this place out. They have a lot of different momos (chicken, goat, lamb, buffalo, vegetable, spinach and paneer, plantain). It was so hard to decide on one, but I decided to order the ones that I haven't seen at other restaurants. Most of the momos were around $10 per order of 8, and each momo order came with an orange-colored gingery sauce and a red-colored spicy sauce. The red sauce here had a nice kick to it. This was a pleasant surprise since most of the momo places I've tried around the area have a very mild red sauce. I LOVED the flavor of the orange sauce! It was super fragrant and umami. The spinach and paneer momo is an awesome vegetarian option. The paneer is cut in small pieces so you get paneer in every bite. The seasoning in general was delicious and satisfying. At first I thought the filling would have the runny texture of saag paneer but thankfully it did not. The filling was still pretty loose (compared to a meat-filled momo which would hold its shape) but it wasn't messy to eat. The lamb and buffalo momos had very similar seasoning profiles. They were very tasty, though, so I would recommend them if you are a fan of lamb. Lastly, I tried the samosa chaat. I wouldn't recommend this dish if you are not a fan of mushy textures. The dish was an explosion of flavors though-- salty, tart, sweet, and spicy. The portion was very big so it is great for sharing.

I ordered via UberEats. I had heard so much about the momos here. I decided to try out the chicken curry Momo (seemed like the most popular item based on reviews) and the Chicken Tikka Masala with Garlic Naan. I was very disappointed with the Momos. They were soaked in curry that tasted like canned tomato sauce. The Chicken Tikka Masala and Garlic Naan were very tasty. I chose the spicy option and indeed the curry was very spicy. It had many pieces of chicken and a good balance of thick curry. The Chicken Tikka comes with rice and I also got complimentary pickles and papadam. Taking a star off for the Momo, perhaps their other momos taste better. PS: the serving size is HUGE! Food lasted for 3 meals.

This hidden gem may not seem much from the outside, but what it serves is just an EXPLOSION of flavor. The chicken momos were extremely juicy, and the filling tasted amazing! The vegetable somasa chat had a great variety of flavors and textures, ranging from the potatoes, the chickpeas, to the creamy yogurt sauce that coats the whole thing. Everything just worked so well together with the somosas hidden underneath.

Ordered delivery through UberEats. Ordered the chicken tikka masala (mild), spicy chicken momo & chicken biriyani (medium). The chicken tikka masala sauce was very thick and fragrant. I feel like a lot of chicken tikka masalas I have tried will just taste like tomato & cream but you could really taste the spices. I wouldn't say its necessarily the best chicken tikka masala I have ever tried but definitely one of the better ones at its price point! The chicken biriyani had lots of big juicy chunks of chicken & was packed full into its foil container. It definitely had a good kick considering it was a medium spice level, that builds in heat overtime as I ate it. The overall flavor was very good but I kept feeling like it was missing something. The spicy chicken momo was a little disappointing. The momo itself was great, especially when eaten hot. It was juicy & the skin was pretty thin & was soft but not so much so it felt overcooked. I think it was disappointing because I was expecting something full bodied, spiced & spicy but it was actually very mild. I had it with the few pieces of jalapeno that was in the sauce, but as someone who likes spicy foods I was disappointed. Overall very good experience. I dont think i would make it a point to purposely order again the next time I'm in Boston. However, if i was in the mood for delivery & saw it pop up on UberEats, I definitely wouldnt hesitate to order from them again.

ordered take out, was good but not the best Indian food I've had in the area would recommend getting the momos in chili since they are a little dry / could use some sort of sauce. haven't had momos from anywhere else but liked these ones chicken kadhi was also good, got the medium but wasn't that spicy

    Aloo gobi and spinach momos

Small little takeout spot with counter service and 4-5 tables. Prices are surprisingly high but it must be due to the real estate. The spinach momos were good and looked handcrafted. However, the aloo gobi was oversalted where you can still taste salt over spice even after cutting it with the basmati rice. The portions were decent but it doesn't matter if you don't like the food.

I randomly stumbled upon Momo N Curry after shopping at the vintage store next door. The restaurant is quite small and like many of us when we encounter a new restaurent we venture to yelp to check out the reviews as well as pictures of the food. After seeing the excellent yelp reviews I decided to check it out. I was kindly greeted at the register by a young woman (who I later learned is the daughter of the owner, a family owned place) who had asked me what I wanted to order. Being a first timer, I asked her what she suggested and she was very polite about the interaction. Asking what my meat preference was as they serve chicken, goat, and lamb - as well as what kind of dish I would prefer such as momos (dumplings) or curry. After conversing with her a bit more I decided to order the chicken tikka masala mild (I know, how basic of me) which comes with a side of fluffy rice and I also ordered some garlic naan. Though I did want to try the chicken momos - I figured I had ordered enough and maybe next time if I come back! And let me tell you ... I WOULD come back. When the food came the smell was incredible - very fragrent and potent in the best way possible. She had also suggested I try their complimentary tea that I could help myself too. With a dash of sugar the hot milky tea complimented the spicy curry well. The chicken tikka masala was rich the color was vibrant. Having ordered mild, I think next time I would order a notch up from mild as some more spice would have been nice! The chicken was nice big chunks of white breast meat and they definitely did NOT skimp out on the meat. There was enough meat to cover the plate. The rice was nice and fluffy and went very well with curry and chicken! I would suggest pouring some curry onto the rice and eating a mix of dry and sauce rice. As for the garlic naan (very garlicy) it was very good - with the way it came out you can tell it was made from scratch as frozen naan would not have the texture and charring this naan had. Dipping the naan into the curry was such a good move. Overall, I would come back again if I were in the area or wanted curry! For me it's not only the fact that they're a family owned restaurant, but the hospitality and way they treat you as a customer was top tier. And of course, the food is excellent and well priced with my entire order coming to shy of $20!

Chicke Chicken Soup brothy and very tasty. I quite enjoyed it.

This is due partly to another party ahead of us not leaving promptly, but I think the restaurant could have been ready ahead of us as well. I will admit that I enjoyed the ambiance - it had nice low lighting with contemporary decor which made a nice dinner spot. The service in terms of both the waiters and kitchen did not feel timely either. It took a while for drinks to arrive and there were barely any water refills in general. We ordered four different dishes on our side of the table and they were somewhat bland. The vegetable momos definitely need some kind of sauce since they were lacking in flavor. We also got a curry chicken thigh, beef noodles, and butter tofu. I think only the beef noodles had a good enough flavor profile and kick to them. I was also surprised that the portion sizes weren't close to what you would expect for the price. I think with so many good south Asian spots in the area, it's hard to recommend Martsa. I might consider coming back if I learn that there is a particular dish that I am missing out on.

The restaurant was comfy; there was an electric fireplace on the wall which made the room feel homey. We got fried pork momos, which were delicious and juicy. I was interested in trying the C-style, but we had a non-spice eater at the table. I got the pork chili from the appetizer menu and garlic naan for my meal, and my companions got the chow mein and sekuwa. The chow mein looked standard and sekewa was grilled chicken served with puffed rice (looked like rice krispies). Everyone was happy with their meals, but I especially loved mine. There were slices of pork belly in a flavorful sauce with tomatoes, onions, and bell peppers. Note that the pork belly still has the skin on it (which I personally love). My only complaint was at medium, the food seemed mild, but I'll be clearer of my spice preferences next time. I would definitely come back specifically for the pork chili!

Decent South Asian and Nepalese place with surprisingly a karaoke night!…read more The bara is a fried pancake of sorts, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The dipping sauce was good as well, possibly a mint-like flavor. The pork momos were really good too, with nice crimping on the skin and decent fillings inside. The chicken vindaloo was decent, though I might have liked more specificity to the flavoring of the vindaloo. The potatoes were nicely textured. The chicken bites were a bit large, they could have been chopped up a bit. The gorkhali khasi (a goat curry) was fairly decent with tender nice pieces. The flavoring was oversalted and again could have used a tad more definition. The bone-in aspect was appreciated as it held the flavor of the meat. The bhindi masala (okra) was fairly successful with a solid infusion of flavor into the okra. The dish was overall too oily though and some steps need to be taken to minimize the oil. All in all quite enjoyable!
