I recently started coming to this salon because it is right next to my house. Every time I have come here, I was met with a horrible attitude by the man in the front. I went to get my nails done last week and it is the officially the last time I ever step foot in this establishment. I told the man that I wanted a manicure, and when he said "pick a color" I told him that I already knew what I wanted and that was one hand white with black polka dots and the other black with white polka dots, to which he responded by laughing in my face. I understand that it might not be the usual set that they are used to doing, but laughing in the face of a customer for simply just asking for something a bit more unique? You must be out of your mind. Unfortunately, I stayed, and was continually embarrassed by him, Momo, and another employee, who kept clearly coming over to look at my nails, and start talking and laughing with the man doing them. It was a constant cycle of ridicule by the 3 of them, for absolutely no reason. So naturally, I pulled out google translate, because I am not the one. These people are so nasty, unprofessional, and shameless. When I confronted the man and asked him "Do you think people don't know you guys are talking about them right in front of their faces?" He did not care at all. I asked him "have you seen your reviews? countless people are calling you rude, do you not care?" he replied with "no." That was all I needed to hear. I don't know what it's going to take for these people to treat their paying customers with respect. I am so disappointed. read more

I came in from work and wanted to get a gel fill in. As soon as I got in this lady (I wish I got her name) was so aggressive and rushing me while I was looking for the color to match my toes. Mind you I went last week and went to David who is awesome and gives the best pedicures. Unfortunately, he was off this day. However, after finding my color ( which wasn't long after) she refused to do my nails and was talking crap in her language. She was SOOO RUDE and what got me more upset is no one tried to apologize for her behavior at all. The guy at the desk just said David will be here tomorrow. As much as I like David I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT BACK IN THAT PLACE AND THEY WILL NEVER GET A PENNY FROM ME AGAIN!!! A friend invited me to get my nails done with her and have some lunch. I gave a nail salon, so I never stray from there for my nails but did agree to have a pedicure. I have been doing my nails for many many years and have been to many different nail salons and I know what I like and don't like. The space is small upfront so if you're waiting it's a little hard. I noticed a few things: - appointments do not run on time - there is no receptionist, so no one really greets you other than the owner or another tech - there is no sign in, so not sure how they keep track or walk ins and the order they came in. - if you make an appointment - you're not a name - you are your phone number - when you walk in it's "what do you need and then go pick out a color" - you can be a "member" and get a discounted price or you can pay more - there is w $1 flat cc fee, which was not stated until I provided my card. I was charged the posted member price (which was less, but then why do you have a membership? - they have buckets of colors for the gels & dips. The amount to non-organized samples was overwhelming. The tech who did my pedicure was done in about 15 minutes. It was the fastest pedicure I have ever received. He was not friendly and the only thing he said to me was to ask me if I wanted my nails cut or filed. When we were done he grabbed my coffee and I told him I wasn't done and he seemed mad that I didn't want to sit in the corner to dry my toes. How was I to know what he was doing? It was my first (and LAST) time there. There was zero communication. All in all, I definitely wouldn't go back. It just was not a good experience. read more

Clean , peaceful, professional , friendly, kinda pricey for someone not used to paying $100 and up for nails and pedicure. It's the normal price for me but if that's not what your used to just close your eyes and enjoy the great service. Think about the expense later lol. They get very busy so it's best to make appointment. Arrive a lil early if not on time. They check temperate and practice social distancing via mask and plastic barriers. Very disappointed with momo, I've been doing my mani and pedi there for years I went today to have my regular service and the girl that did my pedi apparently was on training nothing wrong with her, she was really kind but didn't have the proper training I spend 1 hour and a half just on my pedi, then the manager ended up doing my mani but she only change the color of my nails and they charge me 45 dollars plus the 28 for the pedi, when I told the manager that I had a very bad experience after 2 hours and a half there he laughed at my face. I believe that services such as hair, nails, etc. are unique ad personal to each customer. I for one, establish relationships and if I like the service I am receiving, I am quite loyal. I decided to give Momo Nail Spa a try shortly after it opened, as I was looking to make a switch (I was not happy with my previous nail place). Momo Nail spa is relatively new to the pines area and while it is definitely new, the design is a bit quirky-- but that's totally ok! The salon itself is very clean and maintained well by Momo and her husband (owners). My favorite nail tech is Nancy. She is quite talented and definitely takes her time. In fact, from what I have seen, all nail techs are quite attentive and do not rush through service. Nancy in particular is very detailed and also very personable. I enjoy visiting Nancy and always have had a great experience. I usually get a regular pedicure and some times will upgrade to their specialty pedicure or crystal pedicures. While I love the specialty pedicures (they provide a steam machine and stone massage) I really love the crystal pedicure! With every nail service, you receive a 2-3 minute shoulder massage. While it's only 3 minutes, it's very relaxing as your nails dry and your service wraps up. It's at your discretion if you want the massage or not. The owner is very sweet to me, but she can come across as a bit dry to other guests, which I have seen several customers comment on. She means well and really is sweet and personable. I would not take offense to it at all. I have had other services done here as well such as eyebrows. It's your standard eyebrow wax service. Nancy and Momo are very good! There is also a Spanish girl that works her; I can't remember her name! She is also very good. My second option if Nancy is not available on my desired/week. I recommend this nail salon! I frequent the salon every 2-3 weeks on average. read more

At first glance this place may not be much to look at but it's extremely clean and the services have been very good. I have been getting a gel mani and spa pedicure with Nann for 2 years and have always left extremely pleased. Her foot massage can't be any better. Also, they include a 2 minute shoulder massage while you finish drying your nails at the end. You leave there totally relaxed. I highly recommend Nann or Nancy. Today I went to this place to do pedicure and gel manicure. The place as such is very nice and quite organized, very clean and has esaecificas areas of towels, wash hands all very nice. They have very nice music that if you close your eyes you go somewhere else. the girl who took care of me a very kind and very delicate Cuban with my hands and my feet. very nice and very nice even sang baby songs to my baby, while leaving my feet and hands clean and beautiful. Everything was going very well until the time came to pay when the Cuban girl gave me the receipt to go to the house where the owner was a lady of Chinese origin because I imagined I was happy with the service of the girl and very willing to pay and be friendly. I arrive where the owner and I say hello. She does not look at me and she just takes my hands from me and charges me, that bothered me a little but I thought maybe she had not heard me come back and I say hello. She does not say anything and there if I tell her, lady, I'm saying hello !!! and it stayed just like that, contrasting the very nice staff and the super rude owner. I went today for gel X extension and 15 minutes after leaving the place my nail fell off while fixing some clothes in my house. But before that I told her about the tip that she didn't put well because you can see the difference on the nail where the place the tip. I paid $65 for the service and I went to my house crying because it was not the service that I was expecting. I told her again about the nail that fell off and explained the poor service and she offered to put the nail back on and a discount on the next service but after today I told her that I was not going to return and that she would rather give me my money back. They're always on time for appointment and help to fit me in if I happen to call last minute. They're quick, but very efficient. I always leave with a beautiful manicure. Momo was very quick to learn my name and manicure preference. She's always open to trying something new while being honest about what she thinks as the expert. For example, my sister came home with a beautiful "chrome" style manicure from Momo, I wanted the same but was worried it would be a bit "much" for my taste. They were very unfriendly and continued to speak around me but not to me which is very off-putting and rude. They proceeded to use a Non-fresh towel on my hands. I watched the person next to me get a fresh towel when they first sat down and instead for me, the towel looked like it had already been sitting there for a while. Second, the manicure. I watched everyone around me get massaged and lotioned up for their manicure, me nothing! Mine was extremely rushed, the didn't file anything and didn't even take the time paint my full nail! Then finally the pedicure. I again I watched everyone around me get massaged and lotioned up but me nothing. They didn't file my feet or put an ounce of care into anything they did toward me. It really didn't feel like they treated all the customers the same. Their behavior was belittling and made me feel uncomfortable. I will save my money and spend it at a place that makes me feel welcomed and is proud to have me as their customer. Never ever coming back! read more

I was hesitant to come here because of the reviews. Fortunately I had a great experience at first. Unfortunately after several visits, nails were coming loose and whenever I returned I was asked what I was doing to cause it. I'm not in the business of lying to get my nails redone cause it's a waste of my time. The last time the color turned from pink to brown and again I was asked if I did something to cause it. The "manicurist" offered to redo them with the same color or it would cost $25 dollars. It originally cost me almost $70. It's a shame but there's certainly no shortage of great nail salons and I found another shop that, not only does a better job but they do it at a much lower price. read more
