I came in for a full set and pedicure. I hate how the full set was done! I noticed how bad it was when the tech put the nail polish on and I could noticeably see the huge gap where she didn't put polish on my nail. There was excess acrylic around the edges where she didn't properly file it down. She also rushed applying the top coat on my nail, which I noticed a small clump on my nail when I got home. She also rushed through my pedicure. Worst service I've experienced. Would not recommend and definitely not coming back here. read more

Unfortunately, I went there and had a bad experience. I was trying to let the lady know I'm sensitive and she did not comprehend. The lady in the from said I looked scared and laugh. The one who took care of me cut me. She tried to stop the bleeding but it kept bleeding. She said something to the lady in the front and they laugh! like WHAT?? I paid and walked out with no color. Let's start by saying that I knew the risk I was taking coming to a place like this. It's hard trying to go to better places last minute, they don't accept walk-ins because they're always busy (No wonder why with this experience). But even though I knew I was not going to get the best quality, they charge you as much as the "good places" that actually have that quality i'm talking about. I asked for an acrylic full set. Which I got, but oh man! With such a poor attention to details. My nails look bulky, uneven, and have little bumps. I just feel like I have paws instead of hands. Honestly, so disappointed. They used products that don't last long. I paid for a dip nail service and within the following week they fall off. They're not cleaning the feet well. And I've been going to this location for a while. They give you a business card and sign off on it, for a future discount, but I will never go back. Btw, this place is now called Top Nails, not Oriental Nails. It's small Asian operated nail salon that is similar to the ones you can find in many shopping centers. (Runs by Chinese and not Vietnamese, for some reason quiet a few people asked me this.) Sometimes it's packed full of people and you have to wait around 15-30min. Anyways, regardless of the store details, it's the tech who works on your nails that matters the most. Megan's the one who did my Man-nicure. Just some simple trimming and polishing, and she did a good job without me feeling pain or discomfort. (I've been to places where I felt like i just went through a torture chamber.) Plus once you start to talk to her, she really opens up to you. She is very nice and funny, and make your time spend there a breeze instead of boredom and awkward silences. This place does not even deserve even 1 star! First of all, as a nail tech if you know you cannot perform the service that the customer request, then you should say NO , you cant do it!! Instead, the guy (Jamie) i believe that is his name, the whole time i just feel like i am his guinea pig, he dont even know how to do nails, he got very nervous and sweating like he just came out of the shower!!! After a while, another tech (I think her name is Jessica) step in and took over. But anyway, my nails came out like i just had it done at a flea market. They quoted a price on the phone, which I confirmed. When I got there, they quoted another price after I was already in the chair. They did not honor the quoted price, even after I explained the situation to the manager and acted as if they suddenly didn't speak English. They also sanded too much around one of my toes to where the pink flesh under the skin was exposed and caused bleeding. The toe is throbbing and needs to be treated now to avoid infection. When trying to sweet talk me into being "fine," the manager called me "honey." I'm a grown woman that wanted to treat myself for the first time in over a year to some self care with a pedicure. Instead, I was demeaned by the man running the business, left with one of my toes cut and bleeding, AND charged more than they quoted me on the phone. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. read more

I Absolutely will not let anyone but Jessica do my nails! She is so amazong, sweet, and treats me like family as well as her husband. I bring her pics of what I want and she turns them into reality. She knows me very well, after 2 years. She knows exactly how I want them to look and the shape, she even knows when I want them cutt without me asking. I don't have to say anything to her just give her my new idea or design at the time and tjat is it!! She is also the only one that does my eyebrows, and I get tons of compliments!! Horrible service since they switched ownership and the prices have gone up almost double what I used to pay going there. Just got my nails done at another really bad salon, came here just to get polish done, they tried charging me $20. It's at a convenient location, but not even remotely worth it. They don't care about the customer, only about making a dollar. I don't let them do my fills anymore because they've cut me a few times, now I just won't even go at all.
