I went to this Salon because of the 4 star yelp review. I made an appointment for 7pm. I was seen right away. I got a manicure and pedicure. It took 2 hours. The manicure lasted two weeks so I thought maybe it was worth it. I went back again recently. I made an appointment for 6pm. I didn't get someone until 7pm. Again, the process was 2 hours. This time the manicure is one of the worst manicures I have ever had. The manicurist kept messing up the polish and had to keep starting over. The polish still was all over my cuticles at the end although she tried to redo it. I will not be going back. read more

UPDATE: This place is hands down amazing. Other places I've been to my gel manicure would barely last a week with how rough I am with my hands at my work. So far both manicures I have gotten have lasted a full three weeks! Including my last manicure making it through putting up two full houses of hurricane shutters. Not a single chip! So happy with my visit here! Walked in and was seen to immediately. The lovely Molly did my gel mani and pedi. Consistently asked me if what she was doing was okay with me and if I liked it. My experience at this nail salon was TERRIBLE to say the least. I went in for a regular fill with one plain nail color (gel) & was charged $50!!!! I paid anyways and thought whatever. They said it was bc they had to replace two of my nails. I've been to upscale nail salons and have never been charged this much for a fill... this salon is NOT fancy but in fact the opposite. The waiting chair is literally a very uncomfortable wood bench without back support & they make you wait forever. Anyways, a day & a half after I get them done... one of my nails come off ... I go to the salon and show them that my nail came off. They make me wait an HOUR to get 1 nail fixed. I finally sit down to get it fixed and she has the nerve to tell me "it's 5 dollars to fix it" I said "I'm not paying for my nail to be fixed when i spent $50 just a day ago, it shouldn't of even come off. She RUDELY keeps saying she's not fixing it for free. This is how they take responsibility of their poor quality work. She then "fixes" the nail, barely files it to the point it was so sharp when i left from lack of filing and begins talking about me to the other employees. When I was sitting down I also heard another customer curious as to why her fill was expensive as well. These employees are finessing. DO NOT GO HERE !!!!! Is loyalty not longer something people appreciate? I've been doing my nails in the same place for 6 years, my mom and I go every 2 weeks without fail and I take the girls once a month religiously. Today, the 4 of us had our appt at 11am. I arrived at 11:04, yes a whole 4 minutes late. And the owner tells me "YOU ARE LATE, we've been waiting for you, couldn't wait anymore, have a sit and wait until we are done". Clearly, I was offended, I was only 4 minutes late! I left, and will not be going back, I don't appreciate how today was handled. I always make appointments, I always show up, I always have to wait and today you couldn't wait 4 minutes?! Overdue for a much NEEDED pedicure and stumbled upon this place. It has been 4-5 months since my last pedicure thanks to COVID but whatever. The place is a typical shopping strip nail salon. It's not fancy at all. We were immediately serviced upon arrival. I was about to settle for the basic pedicure which is $21 (wow) until she told me the gel pedicure was $35, OMG good deal. I got the gel pedicure and she did a good job. My toes look great. However, she rushed through the pedicure. I didn't get the time where your feet just soak in the water for awhile. Everything happened so fast but I didn't get the time to unwind and enjoy. A man did my husband's pedicure, which was unusual from any other salon I've gone to. But that man put in work on my husband's feet LOL! I was long done before my husband and that man was still working on his toes. He did a good job. Went here on a whim to get a fill and polish change. The Spanish lady who did the polish change was awesome. I want to go back to see how she does a pedicure. My fill on the other hand...I needed three nails replaced because they were lifting...no big deal right? Well... I thought she would lift my entire nail bed off. It was painful then and still painful now. She ripped off layers of my nail. on top of that she painted my nails with gel polish which I didn't ask for. Total price $58.00. Guess I should've paid more attention to the prices and to what she was doing. Well, I came here a few days ago at the suggestion my sister. I have to say I was very pleased. The salon was very clean inside. I was greeted upon entering and was advised I was next...lucky me! Sun did my nails. They turned out great. We had pleasant small talk and some laughs. I did a gel pink fill with #27 gel nail polish. She was very good at shaping and them. Also, she covered my entire nail when she painted them. I don't know about anyone else but I hate getting my nails done only to discover the paint job was horrible on the sides of the nail! Its clean and the atmosphere is OK but my one complaint on this place is the rediculous wait time. 2 1/2 hours just sitting there to get my nails done. I deal with it because that's how happy I am with suns work but 2 1/2 hours...COME ON! Its not the first time I've had to wait so long I've called and made appointments before and still found myself waiting an hour plus. I moved to Pembroke Pines a few months ago, and have been in a desperate search for a great nail salon. I chose this place based off yelp reviews, and came out disappointed. Upon walking in with an appointment, I was immediately seated, that just might have only been the best part of being there! What I wanted was a mani pedi with a full set of acrylics. After reviewing their mediocre color selections, I settled on a color. My pedicure began, mind you when I made the appointment I specifically requested a technician that worked well with ingrown nail issues. I had to point out the problem to my tech who was just trying to rush through the procedures and had to completely overlooked the problem. Moving onto my hands I ended up choosing to get on my acrylics. All in all it was a quick experience color came out okay, but again it was very rushed and the job came out mediocre. My nails are too thick and the Polish was not finished all the way to the edges of the nails. In conclusion I guess I'm going to have to continue my search as I don't see myself ever returning here again. Oh did I forget to mention the cleanliness of the place? I happened to take note while my hands were getting done that I didn't see a single foot station cleaned. Not before or after the procedure. read more

Had a appointment that I made on Friday, I arrive on time to wait for 40 minutes because she decided to started up a full set of acrylics. I expressed to Sun that I made a appointment a week ago and not understanding why I'm waiting. She told me they accept walk ins. I get it, I'm a licensed nail technician myself but I personally wouldn't book myself close to a time I have a client coming in. I got a gel manicure that by all means was not done correctly and was rushed. 45 dollars wasted on absolutely nothing. You would think she would have apologized being that she is the owner, NOPE! I WAS a loyal customer to this place for the last couple months. I went in today to take off my acrylics and get a regular manicure. They charge $5 to take off acrylics and manicures are $12. First, I was skipped in line and still waited 30 min to get attended. Do not get your nails done with the older Chinese lady, she is awful. She took 45 min to soak off and remove my acrylics! And on top of that made me bleed two of my nails, I refused to do a proper manicure because of the pain of my two bleeding nails. She clearly didn't know what she was doing. Then had the nerve to still charge me $10 for the removal and told me only with manicure the removal is $5. Are you freaking kidding me lady the only reason I didn't get a manicure is because you have 2 of my nails in pain and in blood!? Horrible service! Avoid this place please.
