It was a time warp back to my misspent youth! We ordered a large pizza to go and sat and absorbed the atmosphere while we waited. We got a half and half large pie - half pepperoni and half veggie. The toppings were fresh and plentiful; the crust was very good and the sauce was not too sweet. Service was friendly and the pizza was made to order, so the short wait for it was to be expected. I pass by here all the time, so I will definitely put this on the regular rotation when the mood calls for something a little more than DiGiorno! read more

Nice Italian ambiance for dining and relaxing while in Miami Beach and SoBe. Parking is on the street. Entrance is wheelchair accessible as well as inside. Stopped in after spending the day at the beach. When we walked in the staff looked at us as though we had just landed our alien craft in the middle of the restaurant. But I didn't care because I was hungry. My husband ordered one of their daily specials. 2 slices of pizza with fries and a drink. Huge slices, fries were good. Had enough for leftovers. I ordered the spicy shrimp and chicken Alfredo. It was very amazing and came with delicious bread. I also had enough for leftovers. We ate outside in the shade and enjoyed our food. We ordered wings to go for my father but he said they were dry. Julie M. Was our server. She was a very good server technically. I've been in the hospitality industry for years and as far as keeping drinks full, clearing plates, boxing up leftovers, timeliness she gets a 10. What a cute little Italian joint! Situated on a corner of a busy street with outdoor seating. They have a very large menu with all the Italian classics. They also boast lunch specials through the week until 3pm. Among them, 2 large slices of pizza and a can of soda for $8.25! I came in on a Thursday early afternoon and was greeted by a very friendly server who promptly sat me down and brought me fresh warm garlic rolls right away. I've been ordering from Pizza Fiore for over 15 years, and up until recently, my experience has always ranged from good to exceptional. However, something seems to have changed--possibly new management--because the quality and service have taken a noticeable downturn. I ordered my usual dish, baked ziti with eggplant, exactly the way I've always done. Instead of the delicious, well-prepared version I've come to expect, I received a plate full of undercooked, diced raw eggplant. This dish is typically made with fried eggplant, and they usually use the seedless variety, which makes a big difference in taste and texture. What I received was nearly inedible. To make matters worse, when I called to address the issue, the person on the phone was rude and dismissive. Rather than taking accountability, they blamed me for how the food was prepared--something that's never been an issue in over a decade of ordering the same dish. I'm deeply disappointed and hope this feedback is taken seriously. I would love to return as a loyal customer, but only if the quality and customer service return to the high standard Pizza Fiore was once known for. My wife and I have had Pizzafiore's pizza twice this week. First the Hawaiian on Labor Day. We consider ourselves pizza aficionados making sure we have pizza once a week...but we have never had pizza with pineapple. The smoked ham paired with the pineapple and pizza sauce was a perfect combo. The smoked ham is really good. Tonight, we tried the Fungi and Prosciutto Pizza. Once we discovered the smoked ham on the Hawaiian pizza, we wanted to enjoy it again but paired with something else. So we tried this one. Once again, it didn't disappoint. It is important to note that this pizza should have been called "Mushroom and Smoked Ham", not prosciutto. Both pizza experiences have been via takeout. And in both situations we have reheated the pizza in the oven. This is a must. 375 degrees for 7-8 minutes. This crisps up the pizza as if it was just taken out of a pizza oven. We will definitely be working our way through the pizza menu at Pizzafiore while we are in Miami Beach. read more
