They had a very strange and unflattering cut, and the material felt poor quality--nothing like the premium quality suggested by the website or the prices. Before returning my order, I contacted the company and received written instructions confirming that I could send the items back. Their email clearly stated that, once received and inspected, a full refund would be issued to my original payment method. They provided the return address and telephone number, so I followed their instructions and paid for international return postage. The parcel arrived in Dubai, but Emirates Post could not deliver it because nobody answered the recipient's telephone number. Emirates Post confirmed in writing that they tried calling multiple times and requested a reachable number. Despite my repeated requests, Mama Luma has refused to provide one or contact Emirates Post directly. After I had already sent the parcel, Mama Luma suddenly changed its position. They claimed that some items were on sale and another was a pre-order, so they would not honour the full refund originally promised. They then issued a 50% store-credit code that I did not want and have not used. The product pages did not clearly identify the items as final sale or non-refundable, and the women's dress is not described as a pre-order item on its product page. They authorised the return, promised a full refund in writing, allowed me to spend money returning the parcel, and are now refusing to cooperate with the postal service or honour their original confirmation. This has been an exhausting and unacceptable experience. I strongly advise customers, particularly international customers, to be extremely cautious before purchasing from Mama Luma.

Especially with the constant sales and promotions they always seem to have. There is always a decent amount of employees walking around who are nice and reasonably knowledgeable, but the layout is so straightforward that it's easy enough to figure out the different departments and where one may find something on their own. The cashier process can be a little slow, but I find that a lot of times it's due to weird costumer interactions having nothing to do with the staff itself.
